I am happy to see that Dr. Konstantin is refusing to give random people narcotics. I worked in a 1000 Rx a day pharmacy and these people are doctor shoppers whose regular doctors won't give them narcotics so they seek out other doctors and then get disappointed and aggravated when they don't get their drugs. This makes me want to give Dr. K more stars! You don't go to a doctor to get drugs. You go to a doctor to get treated to feel better. It doesn't always require drugs, and you should be glad if you don't need them.

I never feel awkward expressing my concerns since she takes every comment into account. She's very thorough and will explain everything in great detail to you. She never rushes and you feel like you're being heard and taken care of; like you are her number one priority all the time. I know others have expressed how difficult it is some times to schedule an appointment with her but, to me, it's worth it. I've seen other doctors when I've been impatient and felt like I couldn't wait for Dr. Yep and immediately regretted it. Additionally, if you go to their online web site, there's a button you can push in the appointment system asking to be contacted if anything else opens up earlier. Dr. Yep has been excellent with the kids and also with my mother so she can span the spectrum of ages. Just like I expect my dentist or mechanic to not sell me on doing anything more than necessary, the same goes for my doctor. Dr. Yep always let's me know what I must follow and other suggestions I can consider. She is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend her!

Taking one star off because a year ago when I asked for a GI recommendation she told me I didn't…read moreneed a colonoscopy until age 50. That may be the general guideline but I have a family history of colon cancer. The recommendation for colon cancer screenings for people with a family history is every 5 years unless something abnormal like polyps are present. I gave her a document of my medical history that I always bring to new doctors (first saw her in 2016) and I have a section on my family history. When my current PCP referred me to a GI for unexplained abdominal pain, my GI doc said I should be having colonoscopies every 5 years based on my family history. I stopped seeing her in September 2017 because I moved to Fremont and found a great doc at Sunnyvale's One Med location (though sometimes I go to Palo Alto because I work in Menlo Park). Overall I thought Susan was a caring doctor who listened to her patients but maybe needed to review my records more thoroughly before deciding when I needed a colonoscopy. I think she might have been inexperienced so maybe her recommendations will be more accurate as she becomes a seasoned doc.

The hospital put me back on my old medication, but Dr. Jones's office put me back on the new medication, and I ended up in the emergency room with edema in my legs. This has left me very concerned about their ability to make decisions about my medication. I also discussed acupuncture or physical therapy for my sciatica and medication for fat buildup under my ribcage. I finally got acupuncture after six months, but I still haven't received medication for the fat buildup, which is common for people with HIV. I'm now looking for a new doctor, but I'm hoping for the best at my next appointment with Dr. Jones's office. I would strongly recommend that people think twice before going to this doctor."

As soon as I said I would like to establish care her response was "ok well whats your insurance" in a rude tone, I shared my insurance info which she immediately said I wouldn't be able to have an appointment for a physical unless it was for something specific, in the same sentence said they were going to change their system by the end of the year and it would be really hard to get an appointment. This could've been handled in a more professional manner, she could've simply shared they are not taking any new patients instead of being combative when I shared I was assigned to the medical group accepted at this clinic. I also shared that I was assigned Dr Pallis by my insurance... Professionalism needs to be worked on at this clinic, I'll have to contact my insurance to change providers unfortunately.

During my appointment, she was attentively listening, kind, and gave me ample time to talk about any health concerns. She was reassuring about past health concerns and gave me referrals to make sure everything was still fine. Her staff was great too. The only reason for my 4 star is that an exam she performed was uncomfortable, but there was not much she could do about that.

She saw me right away, was so kind and, like everyone else has mentioned, really LISTENED to me. I've since been back 2 times, once for a physical and once for another condition. Each visit has been like the first--she never seems rushed, she always keeps her full attention on you, she's very knowledgeable and also realistic when it comes to all the other factors that affect health--stress, exercise, diet, weight, etc. I always leave feeling as though I have been heard and that I have a plan for feeling better or taking care of myself. I feel very fortunate to have found her.
