Grand daddy of window tinting. The best window tint and installation in Vancouver bar none. I was going to Paul in the 1990s when he operated out of a garage on Main Street. His tint outlasted the life of the vehicles. Today, his son Ronnie is the premier installer of XPEL self healing paint protection film. On two of my own vehicles I have had Ronnie install full hood, headlights, fog lamps, front bumper and mirror cap protection. One car was done 8 years ago and the other from new since June 2023. I am a believer and have had many new vehicles done with XPEL for my customers. Latest one a new Black Suburban for a luxury transportation company. Complete peace of mind with the best protection. Ronnie does complete clear XPEL wraps on many new high end cars. Word of mouth sells his expertise. read more

Fantastic job by Ronnie and the team putting full body PPF and ceramic coating on my 2026 Audi RS6 Avant. Could not recommend more highly.

I had my car window tinted at PH Solar Window Tint, I couldn't believe how great the job turned out. I could not be happier with my results. This shop does a lot of high-end luxury cars. If you need PPF (Paint protection film) for your car, you must ask for Ronnie. He's the best wrap guy because he specialize PPF with the most reasonable pricing. I promise you won't be disappointed. PH Solar Window Tint is conveniently located in Vancouver on Kingsway (between Knight street and Fraser street). I will definitely come back for more of his excellent services! read more

I had my 2014 mustang windows tinted in 2015 and I wanted to say that the quality of their tinting is unmatchable. It hasn't faded, peeled or cracked in all these years that I have owned my car. I would highly recommend this company for their fantastic product and kind and helpful service! Thanks guys for making my car look bad ass! read more

Came here a month ago and they did an outstanding job. With a price of $199 cash only including tax for the 5 rear windows on my mazda 3 I can't complain. They finished within 30 minutes when they said it might take 45 which was great and super fast. I waited to give a review to see if the tint was going to start peeling or bubbling but it hasn't so far at all. I hope it continues to stay like this as I can't recommend this place enough. The staff here were great too. 5 *'s easy! read more

I had just bought my car and was in need of a tint job. I have seen horrible tint jobs where bubbles appear and it goes from black to purple. I would rather have it done right the first time as opposed to taking it back over and over. After reading reviews online in different car forums and Yelp, I ended up going with PH Solar Tinting. These guys were great and professional. It is a family run business and do tint work for major dealerships in the city. They were very quick, in and out in 90 minutes - efficient! They have 4 people working on your car at the same time. Highly recommend it! read more

Paul's son Ronnie just did the hood and headlight protection on my car. What a great job you would never know the vinyl protection is there. Both these guys are what it's all about. Great workmanship and superb customer service. Have them do your car. You will be ver pleased. read more

Wow. Excellent job. I am so pleased with the work that was done on my 2009 City Jetta. After shopping around I decided that PH Solar was the place to go after all the wonderful reviews. I dropped my car off at 9am and had it back within an hour and a half. I was explained the care and maintenance and off I went. They only take cash which was no problem at all. The shop was very clean, organized and the guys installing were all very friendly. They guys had to take out a car seat to access the back window and to my pleasant surprise they reinstalled it; good as new. Since this job was so well done we will be getting our 2010 Jetta TDI done as well. Highly recommended. read more

I came with my tiny camper to tint three windows, one window has four panels, so six little windows. This place looks like it has great reviews and decent prices... I understand that this may cost a bit more than a regular car. But Paul wanted to change me $450.00!!! OUTRAGEOUS! What a waste of time going here. No thanks! I'll keep my cash, and go somewhere else. read more

I read their other reviews and all the good things that are written was true. We wanted to tint the back windows of our car so that we can protect our baby girl from the sun's UVA/UVB rays. Arrived just after 10:00 am and we were taken right away. They had several other cars already finished. They discussed the tint darkness options and was very knowledgeable about what is factory tinting for several car manufactures. They made a recommendations based on our concerned of being able to see out the window during night time while balancing the objective of blocking out as much of the sun's heat as possible and we made a decision to go with their recommendation of 35% (percentage of light allowed in). We left and walked to have breakfast and by the time we were done and walked back, it was done (about 1 hour). They accept only cash $219 (with taxes included) for the 5 back windows to our sedan. Professional work and delivered as promised. They do contract work for several large car dealers and their work speaks for itself. They even provide advice on how to maintain their work and it is under warranty. I will recommend them to others. read more

They did a great job. I also found them through searches for "VANCOUVER TINTING" and this Yelp page came up. I got my Mercedes CLS550 tinted and they did a good job. Paid $210 with tax. I would def recommend them. read more

Excellent service !!! It was quick, done within an hour or so to get my car tinted One of the sales associate also provided some suggestions of the % of tint that people would typically get for my car (accord coupe) and it turned out extremely well. Very reasonable pricing for car tints i.m.o They finished tinting my car within their given time range so that was a plus as some places might take longer than that. There's a lot of things to do nearby on kingsway while you wait Will update if there's any bubbles or peel but it looks pretty good so far ! Definitely will recommend my friends to check this place out. 5 stars well deserved read more

Paul the owner runs and manage the business. Nice and friendly guy. Did a good job on my vehicle; however, I noticed there is one slice mark (about 6cm long) on my rear window when I got home. Took 1.5 hours to tint. I think it took a week for most of the bubbles to disappear. It's been couple weeks now and I still see a couple bubbles. read more

Great price and good quality. Got the rear 5 on my A4 Avant tinted for about $200 so my newborn wouldn't get the sun in her face. I made an appointment but when I arrived they were busy. That was a bit frustrating but I came back a couple hours later they were finished and I'm happy with the quality. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgable. I'd definitely recommend them to others. read more

I was recommended to PH by some Film car prep guys, Fast Service and has lasted very nicely.

This shop is deplorable! Paul gave me a quote, Ronnie says he has to confirm with Paul. I call Paul, he says he will call Ronnie. No call is returned. I stop in to see Ronnie, he says he has to get the price from Paul and will have Paul call me. No return call. I call Paul....you get the idea. It's been 2 weeks now and these guys clearly are not on the same page. I talk to Ronnie today and he says....well, pretty busy so we can't do the job for you!! I would definately NOT recommend these guys. They are a bunch of idiots!! I'm going to see Andy at TEC Audio in Richmond. I wonder if Revenue Canada knows they're running an all cash business...... read more
