They were not by any means experienced movers. and broke all kinds of stuff, including dropping my TV that they never bothered to tell me about. Found one of the workers wandering into rooms opening drawers that he had no business in. After they left, I realized that items like a vacuum, tools, and other valuables were now gone don't hire these guys. The guys name is Jeff Thompson and his alleged wife is Robyn Thompson. Just as a side note, Marguerite estimated the number of boxes needed for a three plus bedroom house to within three boxes and the rolls of tape were literally down to the last roll of tape on the last box. I usually don't write reviews but I had to say something. This is our 2nd time using AK Moves and…read moreAJ. The experiences couldn't be so different. The first move we did back in May 2014, the process was pretty smooth. I got a good quote for 2 trucks and 5 guys. Most of the guys showed up on time. I think there were 3 guys for the first 1.5-2 hours and then the other 2 guys showed up later. One of the guys had to leave early and go to his sons baseball game after we had loaded everything and moved to the new house. Ok so now we are down to 4 guys to unload. All in all it took 7 hours to move our 3000+ sq ft house. They charged me for 7 hours for 5 guys total, and I was too tired to try to figure out the one guy here only 5 hours and 2 guys not showing up for 3 hours so I just went with it. Fast forward 4 months. We were in a short term rental and thus why we needed to move again. I called AJ again, because I figured at least they showed up. This time was a little different. He said they could get 5 guys and 1 truck (because it was a short move only 2 blocks away). But AJ never confirmed over email like before. He said he would call me back. He never did. So I waited a few days and called back. AJ said that he would send it out again. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited for the confirmation which never came. So I then booked another company just in case which cost me more but I was only 1.5 weeks away from my move date. Then AJ calls me back after the weekend and says he can now CONFIRM 5 guys and 1 truck. I get a confirmation email. I'm thinking all is good. It's moving day. Worst fear of moving day, is the guys don't show up. It's 8am, I look outside and see one of the guys outside waiting. I think its going to be good. I head out to get some coffee. I come back and the dude is gone. So I figured he went to get something to eat. Around 845 I get a call from another one of the guys saying that he can't get ahold of the other 4 guys and that the other dude just left! So I call AJ. AJ says there was a mixup or something and complication. And he asks me to change dates or something. WTF. I have everything lined up today. I can't change dates. He left me there hanging. The one guy shows up and then they get one other dude. One guy has to call his friend to move. So 3 guys in total. If the friend didnt show up I would be there with 2 guys. It took 12 hours to move. It was painful. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM. Have no idea what is going on over there but just don't use them. You may get stuck out on a limb.

Just we tried to get a quote and did glet get a great one for only $25 an hour not there $150 Or as she said I get the winter special for $110! This place is a scam!!
