Absolutely a 5 star rating for April Parker of State Farm Insurance! I found myself insurance shopping after I received my renewal rates from my current insurance company of over 10 years. A friend referred me to April & she was one of 5 different companies I got quotes from. April not only followed up in a timely manner over the next few weeks, she wasn't pushy and was available on the phone, email or in person if I had any questions. Her professionalism was noted and appreciated as I researched all the numbers and compared coverage. April and her husband own the agency and are in my area which is another nice feature, the personalized touch of customer service is huge in my book. Like a good neighbor, Peyton is there! However, he never wears khakis. Yet, he has been just a call away when we had questions, and even offered to bring documents to my home when we needed to sign then. I can text Peyton questions and he answers even when not in the office! Can't ask for more than that. We have home and auto with State Farm. Peyton reviewed our policies and made recommendations, listened to what we wanted and helped us make the best choices. Meets with us yearly to discuss and update. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This guy will call and call and call, never leaving a message if you've even looked at State Farm's website. Doesn't take no for an answer and is super intrusive. You're far better off with Geico or Progressive. read more

About a month or so ago I called in after hours to see about doing something to get my insurance rates to come down. I felt like I was paying too much for my old car and didn't want to have the hassle of shopping around. I was told they would call the office and I would get a call back in about a day or two. After about a week, I called back again and they advised that they would leave another message. My biggest problem was that I kept calling my agents office after it was closed. After about 2 weeks, I called in and finally got ahold of Myles. He immediately apologized and advised that he would do what he could to get it done for me. He did let me know that there was a possibility of the rates going up.. so he was upfront and honest with me the whole time. By this time, my policy renewed and it had went up even more. I had grown to get frustrated about how long it was taking but Myles was there to assure me it was normal and he would send updates. Almost right off the bat, underwriting denied it due to it being after my policy renewed. Myles replied back, stated I had called in twice before and attached the proof. Another few weeks went by, Myles still kept me updated with the process- telling me he was still trying and that he would do what he could. Finally I got some good news this Friday telling me my insurance went down! And not only that, they back dated my other payment and gave me credit! Its beyond refreshing to have a pretty rocky start to a process but to see someone stick by me and try his hardest to give me the results that I had wanted. So thank you Myles!! I'm super appreciative of you!!!! My biggest complaint would be the time frame. It amazing to me that when a company wants your business, they have the quote and answers within minutes. But when you know you are over paying and want to see what can be done.. it takes MONTHS. Not that this is Myles or anyone at this locations problem, it more of a corporate thing. read more

I called to get an insurance quote for my car. Despite asking for an auto quote, she was very rude in trying to sell me a whole life insurance policy. I told her that whole life insurance was a bad deal, but she still pushed hard despite my objections. Note to agent: Stop ripping of your customers by selling whole life insurance. read more
