However there are a lot of really cool, unique jewelry items that are fandom themed. If you're unfamiliar with that term, a fandom is a collection of fans who basically worship their favorite show, movie, or books. Fandom items included Doctor Who, Sherlock, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Hunger Games, Supernatural, and so much more. It was awesome! I'm not so much into fandom jewelry now, but it was all kinds of things I would have loved and adored in middle school or high school. It's a really good stop for gift shopping.

I went away for the weekend and had my wife take my dogs to Pampered Paws for their normal grooming (my wife normally does not take the dogs to the groomer and she doesnt know my expectations). Upon my return home, my dog Jo Jo had a very ugly mullet cut. The staff at Pampered Paws have asked multiple times in the past if they can do a mullet on my dog in which I have told them no. So on the weekend that I do not oversee their grooming, they send my dog home with a mullet. I am very unpleased they did this instead of providing the normal cut I get him. I have a very sour taste in my mouth knowing that they have gone against my known preferences when I pay to have my dogs groomed a certain way. Further, I now have to waste gasoline in an expensive economy to drive to the North side of Springfield (I live on the far south side of Springfield) to get his haircut fixed.

They still smell fantastic and they look so so cute. She did a great job on their paws and nail trim also. Took about 2.5 hours until I was able to pick them up from a morning appointment. I visited the shop with my husband the other day and the employee was getting a cockatiel out to show us, but dropped him 3-4 times in the process. The bird plopped straight down to the ground hard each time. Not even a glide. We've had our cockatiel at home now for the past day and he's doing fine other than his wings. I've been having to physically help him get up onto his perch each time as he isn't able to without any use of his wings. He's calm when we interact with him until he realizes he has no way to fly and begins panicking and crashing straight down. it's really sad to watch and completely unnecessary. Again, we love our bird and the staff seemed nice, but please, do better. Get someone who knows how to trim a birds wings! Or just don't do it at all.
