I can't say enough about this place and it's manager Stephanie! I had to board my 10 mo pup Henry & 6 mo kitty Bina for 3-1/2 weeks last month & they took excellent care of them. When my dog wouldn't eat, they hand fed him. They tried mixing in wet food & it worked! My kitty was a favorite because she was the only cat there at the time so everyone knew her. Then one night she suddenly got very sick & Stephanie immediately drove her to a 24 hr ER vet hospital, called me & waited to find out what they were doing, then went back early the next morning to pick her up & drove her to my regular vet. She went way above & beyond her duties for my kitty. It was obvious how much she cared. I'm out of town again for 2 weeks so my babies are back at PetSuites. Today was Henry's first birthday so they had a little party & let Bina come play with him too!

two weeks of food in this bag with him eating 3 cups a day that he didn't eat during his 6 day stay

Pros: the front desk staff is always sweet and friendly My baby seems to always have a good time during boarding Cons: some of them aren't very truthful (story-time) I dropped my dog off for a few days of boarding. I texted PetSuites every other day to check on him (didn't want to be overbearing) and was told that he didn't eat much the first day but was doing relatively well. No one mentioned that he hadn't eaten his entire stay. Fast-forward to pick-up on day 6 of his stay, they bring my dog out and his stomach looks smaller. I have a pretty thick frenchie. I asked about his food and was told "there was only a little bit left. Like, not even a cup full. Did you still want it?" Dog food isn't cheap so yes, I wanted the bag of food. She returns the bag of food to be and it's almost the exact amount that I brought in 6 days earlier!!! She looks at me and says "my mistake." That's a big difference I. The amount that she claimed to have been left vs the amount that I received and I will include a picture. I brought him home and he immediately ran to his bowl and ate A LOT! I put one cup of dry food in his bowl and some water in another and he wasted no time. Then after he came back from outside, i placed two tbsp of rice, some coconut oil and his EXPENSIVE dry food in the bowl and he devoured that too. Almost like...HE HADN'T EATEN IN DAYS!!! My dog's fur was completely dry and he was shedding more than usual. I brought him home to bathe him and can probably build a puppy from the about of fur that was shed. I may have to find another option for boarding because I don't think that all of the staff actually takes care of the dogs while they are in their care, outside of playing with them. Good news, my baby is home, nicely fed, clean and taking a nap.

**IF YOU HAVE A PET IN THE HOUSTON AREA, PLEASE READ THIS POST ANF FEEL FREE TO SHARE** For the TLDR folks, we boarded our dog at PetSuites Pearland. While there our big dog, Tottie, was left unattended while fireworks were shot off in the nearby neighborhood. During this period of time Tottie damaged/pulled (9) teeth while chewing on the fence. PetSuites is unwilling to take full responsibility for this and has left us to pay the ~$4,000 surgery bill for a non-optional operation. They have taken great efforts to deflect and say they have no responsibility in this issue. Which is interesting considering they were being paid to take care of our pets. This is not a place you should board your pets if you are concerned for their safety and your experience as a customer. Full Story Below See the attached pictures of Tottie's injuries. Over Thanksgiving our family was travelling, and we boarded our dogs with PetSuites of America Pearland. We got a call the evening of Saturday 11/25 that our dog Tottie had ripped out multiple teeth while outside in the potty area. We were shocked and scared for our dog. Immediately, we retrieved our dogs and talked to the facility manager about what happened. She informed us that Tottie had been placed in the dog run after his dinner, so he could relieve himself. While he was out there, someone at a neighboring residence started setting off fireworks. Tottie must have become scared and removed his teeth by chewing on the metal fence around the dog run. They did not have anyone outside to observe the dogs and make sure they were safe in the dog runs, even though they knew fireworks were being set off nearby. They gave us a small ziplock bag with a full canine tooth and a broken molar (see in photos). The manager explained that PetSuites of America may pay for the veterinary bills that this incident will incur. We got Tottie in to see a veterinarian the next morning. After an examination the vet informed us that the damage caused to Tottie's teeth and gums was above and beyond what a general veterinarian would be able to take care of. She confirmed that his top right canine was completely removed, root and all. There was at least one tooth that broke off and the root was retained in the gums and several other teeth were damaged. The general vet referred us to a veterinary dental specialist and warned us that the price for the care Tottie needs would cost several thousand dollars. She also said this dental work needs to be done urgently, because the broken teeth could abscess or become infected. With that warning, we made contact again with the manager at PetSuites of America Pearland. She put us in contact with her boss the location's general manager. After some discussion about the situation with the regional manager, we were told that an inquiry for cost reimbursement would be sent to corporate. We took Tottie to the veterinary dental specialist at the first available appointment, and the dental specialist informed us that Tottie had 9 damaged teeth. The quoted price range we were given for the dental work that Tottie would need because of PetSuites of America's negligence was $3,800 - $4,200. The dental specialist said this care is not optional, Tottie will not be able to continue to live with these broken teeth and retained roots. We communicated that quote back to PetSuites of America along with the assessment and write-up from the veterinary dental specialist. PetSuites of America then proceeded to drag their feet on a decision about whether or not they would pay for the damage that their negligence caused. Finally, they offered a $500 payment toward Tottie's care, which wouldn't cover nearly enough of the dental care that Tottie will need due to this incident. This $500 payment covers roughly 1/8 of the estimate we were given to correct the damage done under their watch. But it does show that they recognize their culpability in this event. After a call with their corporate representative, their stance was reinforced despite their acknowledgement and understanding of the events. At this point our recourse for recouping the costs of PetSuites of America's failure to care for our dog is limited. All we can really do is take care of Tottie out of our own pocket and get the word out, so that other pet parents don't send their pets to PetSuites of America Pearland and have their pets get hurt like Tottie did. We held off on taking things public to see if PetSuites would financially remedy this situation, but they have elected to wash their hands of the matter. We have tried to be patient, calm, and transparent through this whole situation. Through it, we have seen nothing but coldness in terms of how PetSuites treats its customers and a lack of accountability for injuries sustained while they were supposed to be watching our pets. It is worth mentioning that we are not seeking payment for anything outside of the surgery bill.

I recently moved to Texas. I was looking for a daycare, boarding, & spa place for my . I researched places nearby on google. I loved the reviews. I called to schedule an appointment. The lady on the phone was informative and polite. When we arrived the staff was polite and welcoming. This made my fiancé & I comfortable with leaving him. They're hours are amazing and suitable for working families. My have been going there for the past few months. He loves it. When we pull to drop him off now. He jumps in his seat and start whining to get out. The staff are always excited and thrilled to see him. I love how the staff knows all the puppies and dog's names when getting dropped off. Joyful to see them wagging their tails. Also I have seen kittens and cats happy. My is always there to play with his buddies and staff friends. I love how they offer holiday pictures for the pets. I have referred all my friends and family to a PetSuites near them. Thanks PetSuites Pearland from Houston & the Harpers family‼

BEWARE***Kennel Cough Alert*** 12/10/2024 I dropped my dog off for the first time at a boarding facility here. I felt confident after speaking with the lady that works there that this would be a decent place for my furbaby. I did not have a great experience with the man that works there and to find out, he's the "General Manager". I dropped my, almost 2 y.o., dog off here from 11/30 - 12/8 as we were going on a cruise. Upon pick-up on 12/8 around 11:45am, I asked the GM how was Kingsley's stay, and he replied "good". I expected to hear more than just good as an update, but ok. As the GM brings out my baby, he is coughing and honking. I asked the GM about it and he "promised" that Kingsley wasn't sick but was pulling on his harness (not collar). I told him that in all the year(s) that I've had him, he's never made those sounds pulling on a leash. I asked him if he was sure and he stated the same thing. When I got home, Kingsley continued to cough, honk, sneeze, and try to clear his throat. Around 4pm, I called back to inform them that he's still making these sounds and there's no harness or anything on him. The GM said how it was impossible to be Kennel Cough, how they had a slow week, how there wasn't many dogs, etc. The thing is, Kingsley is unaltered, so he couldn't have the play time with other dogs anyway so it doesn't make sense. Kingsley also had soft stool with blood. I asked him if he had noticed or if any staff had noticed and he said no. This leads me to believe that they are not keeping a true watchful eye on the dogs to any degree. The GM says that him nor any of the staff heard Kingsley coughing or noticed blood in his stool. Kingsley was with them for 9 or so days and he did not arrive like that. I've never had any illnesses with him up until this point which I expressed to the GM. My rhetorical question to him was so this is Kingsley's 1st time coughing at my noon pick-up and bloody stool by 4pm and it's sudden onset?! That's ridiculous. The GM denied it and said how we couldn't prove anything without a vet's opinion as he is not one. He said after taking Kingsley to a vet, then we could have "the" conversation. On 12/9, I took Kingsley to urgent care and he, in fact, has Kennel Cough. They loved on him and prescribed him medication. I relayed the GM's messages to them to check for their medical opinion and they made it clear that it's impossible that his very first time showing signs of Kennel Cough and bloody stool was when I picked him up. I called Paws and Friends today, 12/10/24 around 5:30 pm, and confirmed the Kennel Cough to the GM. Did he apologize? No! Did he seem caring? No! His response was that Kennel Cough is not 100% preventable. I could understand that to a certain degree. My issue with him is the denial, suspected dishonesty, and the lack of accountability and customer service. I asked him if there would be any reimbursement for his medical care or even a portion of his stay, the GM said no. I feel that like paying for Kingley's vet care at the bare minimum could have righted this wrong. Quite actually, I would have been the upmost satisfied with a more transparent answer and wellness update upon pickup akin to "Hey, I'm not sure if Kingsley is ill, but we noticed this and that and we'd advise he'd be seen for these symptoms because ( ) isn't 100% preventable. But no, I received an Oh, he's just pulling on his leash, I promise he isn't sick. Oh, he just coughed once, that's not indicative of Kennel Cough. The service and treatment my family received is unacceptable and I cannot recommend Paws and Friends to anyone with pets. Also, I asked the GM if there was anyone that I could speak to besides him, a District Manager, the owner, anyone above him. Guess what, he's the end-all-be-all. In his words, the owner isn't really involved in the business. For boarding, I spent shy of $300 and for vet care, I spent about $280. **Message shortened for update space**

My new favorite dog groomer in the Sugarland area!…read more I love the way they groomed my old shih tzu, they did a wonderful job and she looks so cute! I provided a reference photo, and while it wasn't exact, it was still very well done. Other pros: - reasonably priced. I paid almost $65 for my small dog. - very clean and not super loud. Some places, like the previous owners of this location, did not maintain the premises. It would be noisy and smelly, and the AC would be left off. I love what the new owners did with this place! My shih tzu often gets very nervous about going to the groomers but here, she was not shaking at all.

I specifically asked to keep the long hair on my dog's back, which we had been growing out for 6 months. But instead, they shaved it completely. Even worse, they left mats behind the ears, under the chin, and on the belly. When I kindly asked them to remove the mats, the receptionist responded loudly that it would "change the dog's haircut." Seriously? I believe removing mats should be standard grooming procedure -- and if there's an issue, the professional thing to do would be to call the owner or explain. Instead, they just left them and said it would "ruin the style." Meanwhile, the haircut was already nothing like what I requested. Now I have to take my pup to another groomer to fix what they ignored -- and even they were surprised mats were left behind. Sorry, but this is not how responsible pet care should be handled. I'm really disappointed.
