Been using another local boarding facility and really had no reason to change, but PetSuites opened and behold this has quickly become our goto place for safe, active, caring doggie hotelling. Firstly what really made us feeling secure about leaving our new pup was the list of rales and careful prescreening the fafacility has to ensure we are leaving our 'child' in safe hands. Secondly, they are an open book, with tours, complimentary half day boatding to trail the dog and the live streaming into the room and play areas. Who doesn't want their pup sleeping in a bed? Petsuites has thought of everything, they are very careful and selective about who they let stay there, which all adds up to a safe amazing experience fot our Doggie. Several times they have forgotten to feed my animals their wet food, which I let slide for a while. My dog tonight came home with urine on his head & I was also told over the phone I could pick my dog up at 6:30 on a Saturday. Then I received a text at 4:40 telling me I had to pick my dog up or he would be boarded. They did let me pick him up but like how careless is your staff? How lazy? I've worked at an even bigger dog boarding facility before and we never had our dogs going back with urine on their head & we were extremely organized with food. I was also and am never told if my dog eats his last meal or not. And sometimes they send pawgress reports that I didn't order (not complaining about that) I just feels that showcases more how disorganized they are. I think the key to knowing if an establishment is good is good communication and not having to DO the work of communication that should be their job! Did a test run here to get familiar with the facility and boarding process before we have a vacation and need to board them. Everything seemed to be fine at drop off. We got a quick tour and although the kennels smelled like urine and there was constant barking, we figured they may just be between cleanings and the dogs would settle when we left. We were hoping that settled down and all would be well, and hopefully it was, but the low rating is due to the abysmal service we received from Jess. Upon asking about the total, as it was way off from what we expected, her demeanor turned to the coldest I've ever experienced. She corrected the total and then went to get our dogs, and proceeded to not say a single other word to us for the entire time we were there. She forgot one of the beds we brought in and two of their kongs, which they were instructed to give them today and did not as when they finally came out were still full and frozen. She brought us a completely different bed and when told sorry that wasn't it just glared at us and went to look again. When we got it back it reaked of pee. They obviously have very poor organization and I'm afraid of how things might be behind closed doors. She didn't display any love for animals and didn't say anything at all about how our dogs did, their experience, nothing. Totally just going through the motions. I'm so glad we did a one night test run because I can't imagine having our dogs in the care of someone so cold and uncaring for an extended period of time. read more

I have been using PetSuites since they opened and love them. Staff is friendly and helpful, very loving to my BC, they almost treat her like their little ambassador. So sad to see folks complaining about them requiring vaccination records, minor grooming issues, etc. I like the opportunity to allow my dog to play and have fun in a group setting without worrying what crud someone else brings in. I don't mind a little water or ruffled fur. If you want individual catering for your dog(s), find a service to come to your home. read more

Great experience for our Freddie, first time boarding & playtime! For a long time we either didn't travel or had a house sitter for our pets (which my husband doesn't care for), after many years though we decided to give boarding a try at this Petsuites location in cave creek. I can't say enough great things... from the initial contact albeit website, email, phone, app however you find it convenient to communicate they have great systems in place, are very organized and it is easy to get in touch with them. They make the reservation process, vax requirements, just end to end everything is run super efficiently. The resort is really really nice; dogs are gonna be dogs so I'm sure it is no easy task to maintain it so well but somehow they do. I can't say enough how impressed I was at the cleanliness! Now for the people Omgosh the Staff is honestly quite amazing. Each and every person working there had such a kind and customer service-centric attitude, I must have seen 4 or 5 of the staff/front desk etc, everyone was so pleasant, helping one another, helping guests etc, I really felt like my pup was in the company of some really good people all around, with a genuine care and kindness towards the animals. read more

Not too sure about this place yet. Whenever we walk in they are screen scrolling. Not a crime but a different experience from our previous boarding. The first stay seemed ok, our dog seemed good during pick up but there was some dried poop in her bed. That can happen, wrote it off. This time however didn't seem to go so well. When I picked her up she was hoarse and didn't greet me, she ran straight to the door. During her stay she lost 6+ pounds! 1/6th of her body weight. That is almost a pound a day.... Not a word, no calls, nothing. On the way home she didn't squeal or whine like she always does as she is an anxious car ride dog. Literally never happens. We have been boarding her during trips for as long as we've had her. This was by far the scariest experience we've had. I'm not sure we'll be able to go again. I like to be fair but in the end her well being is just too important. It just feels like a building that houses dogs not so much cares for them... read more

We got a free daycare day when they first moved in, and everything went well. I wanted to check in availability for another few days, but no one answered the phone. The recording said yo text a different number, which I did, but never got a reply. The website has minimal information on the actual process for daycare (are reservations needed, are there time limits, etc.) and it is concerning to think that if you needed to check on your dog you may not be able to get anyone in the phone. read more

wow! picked up our dogs and they are great! I usually judge a boarding facility by the condition of my dogs when I pick up. They were both in a happy mood and looked and smelled good. We boarded our two labradors over thanksgiving and we're really happy with the care they received. When we called to check in the staff was great at providing updates so we felt really comfortable leaving our dogs there for a week. They enjoyed playtime and we loved the photo updates and hearing about their new friends. We also paid for a grooming service at the end of their stay and the groomer did an excellent job. read more

My boy Toby loves this place. He has learned to play with other dogs and comes home exhausted. When we started to bring Toby he would look back at us and his eyes would say 'why are you leaving me here?' Now he runs to the door for the play area without a glance back to us. Dog party city. Every employee loves animals. Play is well supervised. Occasionally I will take a look at the video of the pups in action and everything is as it should be, supervised dogs having fun. read more

This was the worst experience ever. My pup had PTSD after his stay and took a long time to recover. When I picked him up, his hair was matted and he smelled like piss. He had no voice/bark for over a week afterwards. Since it was our first time, I emailed the business to discuss the issues rather than leaving a bad review. They never responded, didn't call, didn't care. Now I received an marketing email wanting me to vote for them for Scottsdale's best business....all I can say is RUN AWAY from this business as fast as you can! read more

Update to this review has a happy ending. Due to a miscommunication I was contacted by the pet suites manager. She was very apologetic and valued me as a customer. They immediately refunded the unauthorized play time and wanted me to know it was an innocent mistake. We have had nothing but great stays at this pet resort. The staff is extremely accommodating and the facility is very clean. Our pets love staying here. We even had a bit of a miscommunication about what package we selected and the staff there fixed it immediately. We highly recommend this place! read more

We've taken our shy rescue dog here several times for grooming and they treat appropriately fur his anxiety about getting groomed. He's now unafraid and enjoys going to meet his new friends. I highly recommend the groomers that work here. read more

Beyond happy with this new facility! The staff is friendly and professional, I see how they interact with my dogs and they treat them like family. They always come home from daycare happy and are always very excited in the morning to go there. The groomer did a fantastic job on my puppies first haircut! Our dogs, Sherlock and Sparky, loved staying here at PetSuites! We recently boarded them during our 5 day vacation and everything was amazing, especially the staff who reassured us several times that they would make sure our dogs were taken care of. The pictures they took during the dogs' stay show that they were happy and had a lot of fun. We were a little worried because Sparky can be a handful, but they had no problem with him and everything seemed to go smoothly! They were both groomed during the stay, and the results are amazing - they are so soft and clean! We were happy that we were able to leave blankets and toys with the dogs because the place we boarded them previously didn't allow us to leave anything and I think it's important that they have something that smells like home with them. The comfort of the dogs is very important to the staff here, and they are open to anything that's needed to make them feel like they are at home. Very disappointed with this place. First of all it took half hour just to get us register. Then we we dropped our dog off for a few days boarding it took over 15 min. Just to get checked in. When we picked him up he was hoarse from obviously barking while there. He's not a typical barker so he clearly was not happy there. Our dog is fully vaccinated with every pertinent vaccine there is and we make it a point to keep him updated. NOT good enough for them. They want to vaccinate our animals to death with additional influenza and other ridiculous shots that are harmful to animals if over done. These require boosters and done annually. Good grief!!! Good luck with this overkill on animals health. I'll take mine elsewhere. read more
