I work next door to this place and all day every single day all we hear is the dogs being screamed and yelled at by their constantly changing employees. Our shop doors are always open and we hear dogs being screamed at all day. I have called to notify management a few times and nothing changes. I decided to write this review because on Friday myself and another co-worker actually witnessed a young man working to put dogs inside the facility and he was dragging one of them by it's leash allowing the dog to slide on its backside behind him. They hire younger people who do not seem like they are enjoying working with animals. I have several customers who take their dogs to Petsuites and it is completely disturbing to know how they are being treated. I would never bring any of my dogs to this place and from now on I will advise people not to. If this were an isolated incident it would be one thing but it is ongoing and constant and very sad. Anyone working with children or animals should be thoroughly screened and trained without exception. Caring for pets is just as huge of a responsibility as caring for children. I hope things change at Petsuites ASAP for the sake of these poor dogs. read more

Our dogs have been entrusted to this kennel for several years. Unfortunately, we have had some nagging issues that they've never been able to correct. They require that you bag the meals for the dogs individually - a great idea because it allows you to count how many meals your dog has been fed while they were boarded. On a number of occasions we've discovered that our dogs have missed one or more meals during their stay. In addition, one of our dogs is on a medication that is a chewable pill that can be dropped right into her meal. On several occasions, we've discovered that, not only was a meal missed, but so was the medication. We addressed this with management and were assured that they would address it with employees. However, it has continued to be a problem and we realized that it's not an employee issue, it's, in my opinion, a lack of management supervision issue. We have terminated any relationship with this business. If you're in the business of caring for someone's animals, then you should be caring for their animals. Missing meals and medications is negligent, pure and simple. In my opinion, if you care about your animals, you'll take them elsewhere. read more

Families that value their dog as much as their humans, this is for you. I usually don't write reviews unless they're to praise great customer service as I'm also a manager in the retail industry and market our social media department, respond to reviews about our staff and want to ensure all parties are satisfied, especially the CUSTOMER. If anyone is in retail, they should know excellent customer service is KEY! If you are looking for that and the peace of mind that your fur baby is going to be just fine when you walk out the door to enjoy your vacation, or an obligatory company function or anything that you're looking forward to CANCEL YOUR RESERVATIONS HERE ASAP, keep your sanity and definitely your pet's peace. This is the majority of our experience with Braselton Pet Suites (within walking distance of JACKS restaurant so there is zero confusion on location or staff.) My husband booked an online stay for our soon-to-be 14 year old Jack Russell for Wed, 6/13- Mon, 6/20 for a deluxe room with the gold package so we can get photos sent to us daily, gets small playtime if evaluated so she won't get roughed up because she is an old dog that sleeps probably 16 hours a day. A raised bed and an extra walk a day. Excessive? Maybe to some. But as I said earlier, if you value your pet as loved one in the family, read on. She's not the typical hyper JRT. She has separation issues, very timid and TERRIFIED OF STORMS. Just a few of her quirks but the sweetest girl that likes easy walks & good snuggles. She was left with me after my mom passed away and she was mainly indoors, nervous, barely has any teeth now, is on arthritis medication AND had ALL the required shots the day we dropped her off. That part was our fault, even though we were still able to make the online reservations, so we didn't notice. Her vaccines expired 6/8/23 but their system doesn't notify the customer at that time. INSTEAD, you will be sent an email to say your reservations were either cancelled either due to that or there is no availability for the dates they already confirmed! Luckily our vet was able to come out at 7am that morning and give her all her vaccines. She was able to sit with us and rest for a little while before being dropped at unfamiliar place and not feeling good after her shots. Fast forward a couple hours, we take her to drop off. The young blonde girl kept us there for 30 minutes easily because she "heard" our vet's record of shots he had given in the past weren't legal. Yet we were standing there with a hard copy with all the shots, rabies tag, receipt of $100s spent that SAME morning dated AND a DETAILED LIST of meds, food, how she's scared of storms, etc! YES! It is that ridiculous and it gets worse. After she finally decided that our vet's medical degree was up to her own personal standards, even after another employee told her that the vaccines were given today, no matter what they should be valid for a week and she's not even staying that long. She proceeded to ask WHAT PACKAGE WE'D LIKE HER TO HAVE! The reason this is valid because we already did ALL of this online to save time then again on the phone and now this is 3RD time being asked the same series of questions. Now we are passing the 30-minute mark to just drop her off. I'd love to tell you that ALL of this didn't happen again for the 4th time when I called to check on her 7 hours later, but it did. This time they didn't have record of her being frightened of thunderstorms. The weather Wednesday and Thursday in Braselton were thunderstorms and bad ones. The lack of training and organization of the staff left me feeling guilty for leaving her there, but it was too late, and we had no other options. But if the young blonde female who was there for our drop off and pick-up makes another mistake, please take accountability or have her properly trained so she can learn to fake sympathy and learn a real apology...even if she genuinely doesn't care about your customers or their pets. She should have apologized for the inconvenience especially no one was being rude on our end. Then I called back last night because they ALSO forgot to put her Calm Chews for storms and her pain medication back into of her bag...which also could have been avoided had she not forced me to take the back the detailed list I made for her belongings so there was zero room for confusion during her stay there. I know the company will respond that they gave me a "deep discount" $80 because I complained about being charged for the "Gold package," since I had to call &text numerous times to REMIND the staff get the "perks" sent to me and was then only refunded a PARTIAL part of the package. And to add insult to injury, the Pawgress reports that I had to beg to receive mentioned nothing about her being bit on her ear so now she needs ANOTHER vet appointment. A full refund would be the morally right thing to do but after what we've went through, this place has little to none BEWARE. read more

Put our new puppy there to socialize, it was his first time to any pet house and we had no experience with the whole process either. While checked in, the stuff just told as to put his bag at the front and took him inside. After staying there for about 8 hours, we picked him up again, he was all scared and nervous. We found out his food and toy were not touched at all. And he had diarrhea after he got home. We called and asked what was going on and the stuff told us manager would reach out to explain but no one ever called. At that night we received pictures from them telling us how our puppy day was, but it was not even our dog in the pictures. Very disappointed and will never put our dog there any more. read more

We have used them when it was star barks Inn and Petsuites, and we love them. They are under new leadership and it's even better than before. I have 5 dogs who have boarded here and trained. My dogs enjoy the enrichment sessions with Will and his reports are always well detailed. My dogs have made many friends and love coming here. I give this business zero stars. We've been customers there for over 2 years. This past week when my baby was boarded for 3 days, the employees mistakenly gave all of his items to another customer. First they called me to inform me that he had ran out of food. Which I knew was impossible, because I packed individual bags of food for each day of his stay. They stated that they fed him in error on his first night after I instructed them not to. I indicated I was on my way to pick him up so it would be OK. When I arrived, it took them a lot longer than usual to bring him out to me. When I asked what the problem was, they indicated, they could not locate his personal belongings. This included his collar, his leash, his toy, blanket, and his pillow. When the girl came back out to talk to me. She indicated they had given all of his personal items to a foster family by mistake. They indicated to me that they would be contacting the foster family and the manager would call me first thing in the morning. I never received a call from the manager. I had to call them on my own to find out the status of them locating his items. They had told me they had tried reaching out with no response. Shortly after I hung up, I received a call from the rescue. They had his items and they were calling to make arrangements with me. And they also told me they had never heard from one person at Petsuites. When I called to speak to the manager the following day, he indicated that the manager was off that day. I'm not sure that I could call and contact her on the Friday. Which I felt was very unprofessional as the manager should be contacting me. I was not offered a refund, I was not offer a discount, none of the employees or making any effort to retrieve my dogs items. And furthermore, when I did receive his items, he had two unused bags of food in his bag. Which tells me that he was given the incorrect food. In which he was sick for two days after his state throwing up at home. The management and the staff absolutely do not care about your experience with them. I am trusted them to take care of my dog, and there was constant miscommunication. I will never take my dog to this establishment again. read more

We love Pet Suites and so does our pup! We had tried out several daycares before this one and none of them were able to tell us how she did throughout the day. The webcams are a huge plus! They always take such good care of her and helped her become socialized quickly. read more

They are a bit pricey but well worth it. My dogs have a great time when they go there. Staff is super friendly and the place is very clean. They send videos of your dogs playing when they stay overnight. Highly recommend! read more

I've boarded my dog with them 4 times. The first few times it was under the Star Bark Inn franchise and the service was great. When I picked up my fur baby, he was happy and healthy. Unfortunately, this is not the case this last time. He was booked with the luxury room with a terrace and bronze level play which means he had access to go in/out of his room and was supposed to have 1:1 play time. Once we got him home, his bark was completely gone and it still is after being home 3 days which means now he needs a visit to the Vet since it may be kennel cough. Additionally, he came home with diarrhea (there was no change in his diet as I supplied all of his food and treats). I'm very disappointed and will not be boarding my fur baby at this establishment anymore. read more

I boarded my 4 year old Yorkie for about 5 days: Thursday to Monday. This was my time boarding with them due to his primary being full. When I picked him up, he was not himself. He usually is jumpy jumpy jumpy and then spend the rest of the day laying around. Needless to say, when I picked him up, he was acting a bit strange and laying around. I heard him coughing and making noise sounding like a goose. This our first pet, so I was unsure what it was and as the days proceeded it got worst. I started looking it up on the internet and his sound and behavior sounded like upper respiratory or kennel cough. I took him to the vet, meds, etc etc. My vet told me to call the facility and let them know. I mistakenly called Pet Inn Suites in Braselton and they were apologetic, got may name, said that a few people had called about upper respiratory infection with their pets, and said they would call and check on him. A staff person called me back and asked when I boarded him because they couldn't find my name and I was like I'm sorry I called the wrong place..... Now with the right place: Petsuites Braselton: I called and said the same thing and the girl was apologetic and said that she would have her manager give me a call and yada yada yada. About to hang up and I asked, so are you going to get my name. So she quickly got my name, a manager called right back. Apologized profusely, said they were going to call to get the vet bill and she was going to send it via fed x and I should have it in couple of days, if not by Wednesday, give her a call. Of course today is Thursday, I wanted to call because I already knew what it was going to be and of course she is in a meeting and will give me a call from the "gatekeeper." I'm not going to call back and I really don't care about them paying the vet bill. With the second experience, I do not feel it was genuine, just trying to get me off the phone. I was just notifying them because my vet asked me to, was not expecting a refund at all, but nice gesture. I know infections and colds will occur, but I think the most disturbing part is NO ONE from Petsuites Braselton has called to check on him and he has been sick for an entire week. So my encouragement for you all, be genuine or don't say it at all! read more
