It has been 2 years since I use services at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge. I still give this location a…read more5/5 stars. The staff members are friendly and knows my dog by name. (They know my dog's name, but don't know mine! LOL.) My dog has been using their doggy daycare and I know she likes the place because I need to be careful when I say "doggy daycare." The moment I utter those words, she thinks we are going to Stone Mountain and will wait at the door! They will verify the person picking up the dog, which I feel safe knowing that no one is going to run away with my dog. I can also add other family members so they can pickup my dog as well or be notify of any emergencies in case I am out of town (but I'll still be notified as well.) DAYCARE: Pretty self-explanatory. I can drop off my dog before I go to work for a full day for about $40/day. The benefit is that my dog will interact with other dogs and will nap all evening when I pick her up. They will also feed her with the provided food. GROOMING: It is crazy that their pricing is more affordable than the big box stores like Petsmart or Petco while providing the same care. LODGING: I feel at peace knowing that my dog is OK while staying at Stone Mountain. This is the third time I use their lodging service. I like to pick the Adventurer suite because it gives my dog the opportunity to go to daycare during the day and then stay in her suite from evening 'til morning. There are lots of options to add-on like treats, report card, walks, medication, etc. Check-in and out is simple. On my last lodging service, my dog stayed with them for a week. I was able to coordinate with them to provide a bath. Overall, I am happy with their service and will continue to go to Stone Mountain for my dog's needs.

We have 3 little dogs, 1 male and 2 females which do not get a long and have to be kept separate, we explain to Ashley the situation when she came for a visit to get familiar with the dogs and she totally got it and didn't get scared away. She is a wonderful young lady and when she was here with my fur babies she sent pictures and a couple of videos of the dogs while we were gone, which made me fill better because we had never had a dog sitter before. I went there to get her wound wrapped, and they wrap her head and not her ear??? The cone was on her ear, pinching it. THATS, why she was crying. i called blue pearl and they said i can try and shove it back in. which wasn't possible, since she was crying and freaking out. i told the lady at blue pearl and she said i can take the wrap off, put her ear in and wrap it back up. i did as told.. UNTIL. They. Did. NOT. Change. The gauze. Dry bled all over it. And it can't be from her ear, because guess what? THEY DIDNT PUT IT IN THE WRAP.

But this time, she came home and has been her normal, energized self. The staff is very kind, and understanding, and take the time to know your pup. I went in today for an orientation and a walk through at about 10AM. IMO, there were way too many dogs in each area. The dog rooms are small and dimly lit, and all connected, so the atmosphere is very loud. I was shocked at how many large dogs were in such a small area. As we walked through with the staff, a fight broke out between two dogs. Others joined in because there was no where to go. One staff in the room for about 20-25 large dogs. No wonder. There is simply not enough room for the number and size of dogs in that space. I would never leave my dog there.
