Make appointments on line then because they did not have any other appointments for the day they changed my appointment to the next day at a different time. They do have a Groomer coming in, but they will not let the Groomer groom my dog at the original time that I had, I even have a picture of it, but they don't believe me so I will never buy from the store again. I will never groom from the store again and I severely hope that you take my advice and never do that either. read more

Very disappointed with the grooming service. My dog left just as stinky as he came, and they didn't even finish the full groom and I had to pay full price. My dog's past groomers never had an issue with my dog's behavior. Apparently the groomers on staff couldn't finish clipping his nails or finish his cut because "he was flailing" and "he was trying to bite them." She was showing us when I went to pick him up how he reacted to the scissors, and it was clear she just no effort to restrain his movements, and just didn't know how to make my dog feel more comfortable. They made no effort to right their wrongs with his grooming, no offer of a discount or anything. They just suggested I spend more money to take him to a vet to finish the job. I asked if he actually bit them, and they said no. Save your money and go to a groomer who knows how to handle a dog appropriately. read more

I took my dog to her appointment, and because she is older and sensitive to being touched in certain spots, they would not give her a wash and nail cutting. It would have been helpful if they would have told me that when I made the appointment instead of having me show up with my dog for her appointment. My dog is small, 15-20 lbs., and because of her age, she is really passive. We will not return to Pet Smart. read more

There were cats for adoption and one kitty really wanted attention and was pawing under the door. We asked to see the cat and told we needed "approval from the aspca." Firstly, how can you find out if the cat is a good fit if you can't meet them? Are the cats touch starved if no one is around? The manager said she hadn't met the cats and walked away with no offer on how to get this "approval." And the cat adoption applications were gone. Heads-up, Petsmart, you're not actually helping the animals in this situation. And having all those birds in tiny plexiglass cages is inhumane. Stick to supplies, not live animals. read more

It was just a couple days ago. I thought you know what I want a cute fuzzy wuzzy meow meow. But I wasn't sure how to get one. I called this store and I asked for a meow meow. They said sure come on in and you can choose a meow meow for yourself. I said could you bring them over here for me. I want to stay around my house right now because of the rainy weather. They said sure. I said bring them all, I'll choose one. So a couple of hours later, they drive up to my house in a car. The car's full to the brim of cute fuzzy wuzzy meow meows. They passed me one through the window and if I didn't like it I handed it back. In just half an hour I choose my favorite meow meow of them all, Mr. Furball. This one's on us they said. Then they drove honking their horn as a salutation to me. I got a few more the same way, I got so many cute fuzzy wuzzy fur ball meow meows now. Meow meow meow! read more

I was just at the Williamsport Pet Smart and everyone was friendly and helpful. They helped me fit a harness on my super excited yellow lab. I thought I wanted a specific type of harness, but he suggested I try a different one. It was up to me which one I tried first, and I went with his suggestion. It worked perfectly and I didn't even try the one I thought I wanted. Plus he didn't mind being covered with kisses as he was struggling to fit the harness on my dog who would not stand still. I was so pleased with my purchase that I went home, got my second dog and bought a second harness. He even held my dog so I could take pictures so I could put the harness on by myself. read more

My friend and I went to PetSmart looking for an eyelash crested gecko. We got there, got to hold the gecko, and were told what supplies we needed to buy for him. After we had all the supplies, we told the employee working that we were ready to purchase the gecko. She then asked for our ID. Neither of us knew we had to be 18 and have to sign in order to buy an animal. They never mentioned it to us, but later argued that they told us the policy. We called a friend of age in town to sign for the gecko which the workers then gave us a lecture on how we were "trying to play them and sneak around" stating that we were asking different employees the same things just to get our way. She did let our friend sign for the lizard and we were able to buy it, but she kept giving us nasty looks and whispering to the other employees right in front of us. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional about the situation. Something obviously needs to be done about the employees attitude, because the way she treated us after we brought in our friend to sign for the gecko was not how a business should ever be run. read more
