My parents…read moretrusted them to board our family dog, Bodhi, while we were out of town for my wedding because he is a patient there and requires insulin injections twice a day. The night of my rehearsal dinner, my mom received a call that completely ruined what should have been a special weekend. We were told that a vet tech gave Bodhi 80 units of insulin instead of 8 units. This is an extremely dangerous mistake, especially for a 22-pound dog. I spent the night before my wedding unable to sleep, terrified about whether he would be okay. Bodhi then had to spend the next two nights on IVs and under monitoring. When my parents were finally able to pick him up, he was covered in pee and poop, had sores from licking, and still had the catheter in his leg. The woman who handed him over said she had never removed one before but could "give it a try." Four days later, Bodhi is still suffering from bloody diarrhea and shaking day and night. What happened was careless, traumatic, and completely unacceptable. Please think twice before boarding your pet here or trusting them with medical care. There are other options in the area, and I wish we had read the reviews more carefully before trusting them with our dog.

She was SO Wonderful with her Huge Empathic Heart towards me. I was called early the next morning only to hear he was too Sick and his Organs had been shutting down for a while due to the Negligence of his Vet he'd seen for 3 yrs!! She overdosed him on Prednisone a dangerously strong Steroid!! She gave him Pancreatitis the second day he was on way too high of amount PREDNISONE! I Trusted her! All she kept doing were blood tests! She missed an Infection he had on the first blood test. For two yrs I kept taking him in for Strange weight gain and he couldn't even climb his stairs anymore to get on the bed. I told he was acting Strange and walking Funny. He had mushy feeling shoulders. She told me he had Fat Packs?? Huh? He had Cushing's Disease!! I'm not the only one that had a dog DIE UNDER THEIR CARE! Spend that Extra Couple of Dollars to see Vets that could save your Furbabies lives! Everything Finn had was Treatable and he could've Survived with the Proper Care! I Highly Recommend Wolf Run to everyone I talk to Especially through my Service Dog Work and even My Online Poodle Groups! Thank you for trying to save Finn's Life! I had him Cremated and even as hard as that was I was treated with such Empathy! His Cremation wooden Box is SO Beautiful! I was Pleasantly Surprised at the Beautiful Bag it came in along with his Foot Print, Sympathy Card and even a Memorial Booklet with a Hotline if you needed to talk about your pets passing.

***Do not leave your pet here unless you want them to be starved of food and basic attention.*** I…read moreselected this place because it had five star reviews but I am terribly disappointed with my pet's experience. She is well traveled and it's not her first rodeo aka first time staying in a kennel. My overall complaint is my cat was mistreated. The offenses are (1) that my pet was returned to me with 9 cans of tuna after a 2 week stay of which even included two extra unexpected days due to bad weather, (2) she was returned to me having lost 2 pounds, and (3) she was sick after her stay. To make matters worse, my cat was already in her carrier when I arrived, which is suggestive of how my cat was treated--always penned up in isolation. When I arrived, her meows were so loud I could hear them outside of the kennel. I opened her carrier immediately to love on her and she was so skinny (I took her to the vet two days later and she had lost 2 pounds from her stay). When we returned home, she was famished. She ate two whole cans of regular sized tuna. She had some dinner but mostly slept the whole day she was back at home. She was lethargic. The next morning she was so sick and had pieces of red stuff in her vomit. It appeared they fed her something else, which was not anything I gave them to feed her. She is strictly on fish. The last issue, the couple running the facility wanted to administer an injection to my cat for feline leukemia, claiming it is part of their policy. I tried to honor it as soon as I knew it was a requirement by scheduling a vet appointment immediately (in no way would I let them administer the injection so I took her to the vet to have it done by a professionally licensed veterinarian). As it turns out per the vet's expertise, an animal should not receive a leukemia vaccination the day of arrival because it takes two weeks for the inoculation to be effective. Therefore, receiving the vaccination on the day of arrival as suggested by Gaylen, would render my pet not safe from leukemia from other animals who are sick with leukemia or have been inoculated within the 2 week window required for effectiveness. Additionally, the guy was a vet tech a long time ago. He's not a vet, he runs a kennel and because of Pennsylvania State law, it is considered "agriculture" which is why he has vaccines. That is another issue. The vaccination was unnecessary because (1) it takes two weeks for the vaccination to be effective and (2) my pet would not be back in time for the booster, therefore, the vaccination would have been extra chemicals in my pet for something she doesn't need because she is never in contact with unvaccinated animals. If this couple would put wood or metal sheets between the cages, contact with other cats would be impossible. Instead, they want to vaccinate animals on the spot which actually does not protect the cats and provides a false sense of security to pet owners who believe the vaccination will actually be effective on the spot. Who puts cats next to each other when they can see each other?! Cats are territorial by nature and typically hate other cats. I do not recommend anyone to put their animal there in general, but if it is necessary, definitely not for any extended period of time because the couple cannot handle it and the facility is not set up well for cats. Nice people, but that does not make up for the poor care of my pet. I give one star for keeping my cat alive.

Extremely disappointed. As a new client, my initial phone interaction was pleasant--friendly,…read moreknowledgeable staff. However, my appointment experience was unacceptable. I waited in the parking lot for over 30 minutes for a curbside pickup, despite being one of only two vehicles there. I had to call 18 times over 9 minutes to get through, only to wait an additional 25 minutes after being told someone would be "right out." When my cat was finally taken in, I voiced my concerns about handing over a pet who had recently undergone bladder surgery, especially under a curbside model that doesn't allow direct communication with the vet. Less than five minutes later, I received a call saying they couldn't treat my cat because he was "too aggressive." He's never shown aggression with family or previous vets. He returned to me terrified and panting, while the staff member had a scratch on her arm. They didn't charge me for the visit--an empty gesture considering the distress caused. If your team can't calmly and competently handle a frightened 8-lb cat, perhaps you shouldn't be accepting new patients. I will never return and cannot recommend this practice to anyone.

They were very up front and matter of fact about the situation. Apollo was in a lot of pain and he was sedated for blood testing and X-rays. They sent me home because of how critical he was letting me know it was possible they would keep him overnight. I wasn't expecting to get a phone call as soon as I did, but Dr. Tom confirmed what I feared. Apollo had back problems for a long time, the fall exacerbated the issue and he wasn't a candidate for surgery because of how bad it was. His quality of life had diminished and I couldn't stand to see him suffer anymore, so I made the difficult decision to have him put down. Everyone in the office made the process easy and handled the situation with such compassion and care. I can't thank the staff and Dr. Tom enough for helping me say goodbye to my best friend.
