We were originally recommended this place by our usual vet office when our older dog started peeing blood late one Friday and it was too late to get her in for an appointment. Dr. Lim had been at their clinic prior and had opened this practice in Dublin. There were Saturday morning openings and we got in for not only a treatment plan for the UTI, but other concerning test results and compassionate support. We had been already discussing end of life options with the current event because she hadn't been well for months. Fast forward a week later where our second dog, who had cancer and on palliative care, had rapidly took a turn for the worse. Dr. Lim had time to fit her in, and when we talked about letting them both go together - on top of everything he asked about us and if we'd be okay. At the end, he was compassionate, nonjudgmental, supportive, and provided an environment for us to love our dogs as they left together to cross. Dr. Lim, I cannot tell you how grateful we are to you and your staff, and we would recommend you for all phases of care a million times over.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Lim, Dr. Park, Mariana and Jordan. I have been coming here since day 1 I got Rocky who is a now 11th month old Frenchie. They have been there for me through it all. We had a few rush episodes with Rocky being he is a Frenchie and me being a momma freaking out unsure if this was just the breed or me over reacting lol they always made time for me to come in so they can double check to make sure he is ok. I absolutely love it here. Mariana is such a doll! Rocky adores her. If you are looking for a place who will ensure your pets gets the best care at an affordable price. This is the place

Went to parkway vet and saw Dr. Tanner there, we had a very bad experience with her. Dumpling was shaking and scared because her nail spot was tender, Dr. tanner took this as offense to herself, and ordered us to put on the muzzle for dumpling or otherwise she won't be able to see dumpling, which was fine. But when dumpling barked when she touched her tender spot, Dr. Tanner got even more upset and made it such a big deal that unless we give dumpling enough sedative she won't continue the treatment for the next time. On the next visit, my mom took dumpling to the vet and having already taken two gabapentin capsules the doctor ordered, dumpling was very calm. Right when we got there, the technician that never met dumpling had a very mean attitude telling us we still didn't give dumpling enough sedatives when dumpling was completely calm, we realized Dr. Tanner had been giving the technician instructions prior to our arrival that made the whole team act hostile towards dumpling. Mom saw the situation getting worse and asked if they are able to be nice and take care of dumpling, the technician told us to go outside, which at the time it was over 90 degrees weather. We left in a very devastating mood because dumpling not only got startled but also took the sedatives and was still treated like a stray dog that they can just manhandle at anytime. We transferred her records to another vet hospital and got a completely different treatment outcome and service there. This goes to show how at Parkway vet, the care for animal was not the priority but the Doctor was. Very disappointing and I need to let every dog parent know for the sake of your puppy's wellbeing do not go to this vet hospital or this Doctor.

My dog, Peaches, was referred to SAGE by her veterinarian in Fresno after she began experiencing…read morebloody discharge from her vulva. Despite their best efforts, her veterinarian was unable to determine the cause because they didn't have the specialized equipment needed to perform an endoscopy and take a closer look. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment available at SAGE was a week away, which I completely understood given the demand for specialty care. In the meantime, Peaches needed immediate attention, so I took her to an emergency veterinary hospital in Fresno. There, they sedated her and discovered a foxtail deeply embedded in her vaginal wall. Although they removed it, they couldn't say with certainty that it was the sole cause of her symptoms and strongly recommended that we keep our appointment with the internist at SAGE. I'll admit that after reading some of the reviews online, I was worried that I might be pressured into unnecessary procedures or expensive treatments. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. SAGE truly operates like a full-service hospital, with the equipment and specialists needed to address complex medical issues all under one roof. Most importantly, the care and professionalism we received were exceptional. Dr. Miller was absolutely amazing. He came into the room already familiar with Peaches' medical history and had clearly taken the time to thoroughly review her records before meeting us. That level of preparation immediately put me at ease. After examining Peaches, Dr. Miller explained that she appeared to be in very good health. He discussed the option of performing additional diagnostic procedures to investigate further and provided a detailed cost estimate. While the procedure was expensive, it was understandable given its complexity. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He told us that, based on her exam and improvement, he didn't feel additional procedures were necessary at that time. Instead, he recommended monitoring her closely and reassured us that if the bleeding returned, we could contact him directly and he would make himself available. His honesty, transparency, and genuine concern for Peaches meant so much to me. Rather than pushing unnecessary testing, he helped us make an informed decision that was truly in our dog's best interest. We also discussed some ongoing digestive issues Peaches has experienced over the years. Dr. Miller offered helpful recommendations, sent us home with food samples to try, and even offered to write a prescription should we decide to switch her diet. As pet parents, we all want veterinarians who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. Dr. Miller and the entire team at SAGE exceeded my expectations in every way. I am incredibly grateful for the care they provided to my sweet Peaches. Thank you, Dr. Miller and the entire SAGE team!

Dr. Beth Lieblick assessed everything quickly and chose the least invasive option first. After anesthesia, she was able to push the blockage down into his stomach so he could digest it naturally instead of going straight to a major surgery. Our dog stayed overnight for monitoring and came home the next morning safe and stable. Communication was clear the entire time, and the team was professional, calm, and genuinely kind during a very stressful situation. * In terms of cost, this is emergency care, so it is expensive. The initial diagnostic alone was around 1300 dollars. With bloodwork, X rays, anesthesia, the procedure, overnight monitoring, and medications, the estimate initially went up to 14000 dollars. The final total ended up being about 6600 dollars after adjustments. Even knowing emergency care costs more, it is still a financial shock when you are facing a possible life threatening situation for a family member. * We are giving 4 stars. The doctor and team absolutely deserve recognition for their professionalism and friendliness. The only reason we are taking off one star is the price. While we understand emergency care is costly, the numbers can feel overwhelming. Our advice is to get pet insurance if possible. If a bill in the thousands or potentially over ten thousand would be difficult, it is worth researching emergency options ahead of time. For us, what mattered most is that our family member came home safe.

The day after we brought the kitten home, she developed diarrhea. I called to schedule an appointment, but they didn't have any "new pet" (one-hour) appointments available for over a week. I booked the earliest one, but asked if they could at least order a fecal test in the meantime. They said no. Instead, I was told to call the next morning to try for a same-day appointment, where a vet could then order the test. I called right at 7:30 am and was able to book a same-day 30-minute appointment for 10:30 am. Problem solved, or so I thought. Minutes later, they called back and canceled it. The reason: my kitten hadn't been seen before, so she required a one-hour appointment, which they didn't have available for a week!!! I explained that this was a stray kitten with active diarrhea and asked if she could at least be briefly seen, or if I could simply pay for a fecal test and treatment. They said that wasn't possible. Then they said they spoke to the vet, who would try to fit me in that same day but couldn't give a time. The vet had approved a 30-minute visit, so I rearranged my day and worked from home to wait for their call. At 10:23 am, they called back and told me they actually had no availability that day at all--and that I'd have to wait a week. Their only suggestion was to call again the next morning and try for another same-day appointment. At that point, it felt like a nightmare on repeat!

We discussed possible chest xray, he suggested labs then giving antibiotics. When the vet tech came in with the "estimate" it was $1600. There was stuff on the estimate we never discussed! Long story short, he refused to do just one xray of her chest...he said "it's all or nothing." Then proceeded to say, "I'm not playing this game of let's shoot one xray just to go back & shot another." You only need one chest xray to see if pneumonia is present, not 3! I never asked for 3 lab panels, nor did we discuss it. Dr. Judge was extremely rude & disrespectful and is clearly ONLY money driven! I will ONLY take my cats there when Dr. Downes is there!
