I feel Dan went above and beyond to help our feline family. He took the time to fit both of my cats into harnesses. Highly recommend.

After the first session with Jeff, Frankie was a changed dog! Knowing what was expected of him gave him the confidence he was lacking. He found his place in our pack and our connection with him has grown as a result of this training. Since Sit Happens we can take our Frankie most anywhere and feel assured that we can manage his behaviors. We love meeting up at the park with other Sit Happens graduates and practicing what we've learned. It's a great community. Thank you!

Our Story: We had acquired a 4 month old rescue puppy that…read morehad been neglected, attention deprived and under stimulated. So you can imagine the behaviours that followed. We met Jeff for our FREE consult. He greeted us with his own dog. Who put ours to shame. Lol. Jeff then explained his program to us. We were taken back by the fact that he used e-collars, as we weren't aware beforehand. HOWEVER, he was very straightforward with us and explained how it worked and how it is used as a training tool and not as punishment, and showed us it wouldn't hurt our dog. He was very professional and friendly. I laughed when he said that if we followed his program properly we could have a dog just like his. Now about 6 months into the program.. our pup is doing off leash work and we can actually believe that one day she can be just as well trained. Long story short: Jeff and Staff are all wonderful and knowledgeable. They are attentive and friendly and make you feel welcome every class. Regardless of the few negative reviews, Jeff is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward. He is always welcoming and makes a point of saying hi to you and your dog every class. Our dog absolutely loves him and gets so excited when he walks by to say hi. Jeff has such positive energy and you can see he truly loves the dogs. All I can say is absolutely worth the money. I would not train my dogs any other way from now on. Finally, if you have any reservations, just go for the free consult first. Give him a chance to explain his program to you. You won't be sorry. Amazing company! Amazing person! Amazing dogs!

Luna was any where between 5-8 months and I would now be her 4th owner. Luna was an extra large puppy about 75lbs a shepherd, boarder collie, retriever cross and facing many health problems as well as behaviour issues that were unfolding by the day. Luna is now between 98-100lbs. Luna was hyperactive, barely knew to sit, would chronically whine, stress bark/scream became reactive (barking and lunging) at dogs, buses, large trucks and would lose complete control if she saw anyone with a ball of any kind. Luna could not focus at all was high stressed, high strung and a handful who is a super athletic dog who is strong. Luna wold turn her frustration to me and jump up and nip and mouth leaving me with busies and often in tears. Drew and I worked for the same company for many years knew of one another but didn't know one another well. Meeting drew on our first consultation I was so nervous I was trembling. My fear was that Drew would tell me that Luna should be put down or was hopeless to train, would have no dog friends and was aggressive. (Something another trainer advised me) I loved Luna and saw her struggles the moment she stepped out of the craigslist posters car and I knew I wouldn't give up on her. Drew is supportive and not once indicated that there was no hope for Luna. Drew tried all kinds of tactics to reach and connect with Luna. Drew helped me perfect my body language and increase my confidence working a strong, working breed. Drew helped me break down step by step every challenge I was facing (and there were many) Every time I needed Drew a solution was provided. It was a struggle and Drew's commitment to Luna was an inspiration and motivation to keep going. Today Luna has peace a gift Drew helped me create with Luna. Luna knows well over 50 commands well, Luna is obedient has learned to ignore all dogs, has actually made dog friends and can be trusted with puppies as young at 9 weeks old with no issues. Luna now walks with young puppies and adolescent dogs giving them confidence and lesson their fear of large dogs. With Drew, you will see immediate improvement and come out of the experience with a plan and confidence to take on any situation. Luna is my best friend and continues to help other dogs that were just like she was in the beginning because of Drew's gift and dedication to dogs. I am forever grateful. Carey Bolduc

Our dog was also aggressive with visitors to the house, which was having impacts on our lives. Drew set up a training schedule for us, was extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. We would have no qualms in recommending Drew's services and we are so happy with our well behaved pup.

Ryan came and met with us at our house and talked with us, then went out on a training walk in our neighbourhood. A lot of the advice was what we had already learned (which was actually reassuring, because we prefer the positive reinforcement model) but he gave us some helpful tips about how to actually apply it outside. He also gave us some really useful insight into why our dog was behaving the way he does, plus he gave us a better idea on where we had been going wrong in the past (basically moving ahead too quickly without really perfecting the good behaviours). We've seen some improvements in our dog, though I admit that any delays are always due to our lack of consistency. I do wish Ryan could just magically transfer his cool and calm demeanour to us on our walks -- as soon as our dog was in his hands, he calmed right down and followed all of his commands. Of course our dog was so perfectly behaved when someone else was around, but this actually proved a big point about our own body language affecting our dog. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone.

And stood there amazed as he CHOSE to veer off in a long arc toward me, coming in full tilt to a sit. I am still sort of in shock that he gave me priority. When I called he was 40 yards away from me and within four car lengths of the deer and he is a focused high drive dog. Thank you to our trainer Greg Houle. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would stop chasing a deer that he had an excellent chance of catching and come to me because I asked him to. I am so grateful for In The Flow K-9 training, that he came, yes, but the WAY he came to me, eyes shining, leaving what was probably his heart's desire, full of happiness that I had called. He was 100% into the next thing that we were going to do togethe r, focused and looking up at me for direction. Making that bond between you and your dog the "something big", the "pay off" for your work, is what Greg's teaching is all about from the very first minute. I am 70 years old. I have had many dogs and used many methods to get to where I thought I wanted to be with them. This method is like the place where all the paths meet....like the pearl in the oyster.Over the last two years I have watched Greg guide little kids, teens, adults, seniors, into better relationship with their canine companions. He just kind of walks into the mess you've made with each other and tidys up the room! Everyone feels better. Everyone does better. Then, if you want to stick around, he can show you how he did it! You won't find a more generous teacher. This kind of training makes you and your dog both feel better, do better, be better!

Then we rescued another full grown dog who wasn't small. She was wild and required a team just to walk her. We have been working with Greg and both dogs on and off since November. We aren't terrible consistent, but we do try. People have been stopping and applauding us for the noticeable changes in both dogs' behavior. I have actually had some success walking both dogs together. Life at home is much less frazzled, although there's still plenty to work on. What I really like about this training is that Greg is practical. The training is to the point. It's really sensible. Greg understands that people are busy, that some dogs have structure and other dogs have toys. He adjusts and supports as needed. Greg has a diverse background with a biology degree and has worked a broad spectrum of jobs. He takes his career seriously and gets things done pleasantly, timely, and correctly.

I have taken him to daycare, boarding, daycare and train, Group Classes and Private classes and don't have a single complaint about any of my experiences. Good Dog Staff are very patient and kind and don't hesitate to go the extra mile when you have questions or concerns. I love that there are a variety of trainers with different approaches but they are all still very patient and positive. It's easy to get frustrated sometimes when training a high strung puppy with a short attention span but I never saw them lose their patience with either of us and they never minded staying a little bit late to address any concerns or questions I had :) I have done the Puppy and Adolescent classes so far and plan on taking them all eventually. I feel that the price is very reasonable considering the quality of training you receive. (High Quality IMO!) If I could do a private lesson every week, I would and it would be worth it! Ace and I have gained so much from the GD trainers and I can't thank them enough. During Daycare and train i received daily 'report cards' on Ace's progress and I always enjoy seeing the daily pictures that are posted on Facebook of all the dogs playing and enjoying each others company. I know that all of the staff is knowledgeable on pack interaction and that Ace is monitored to ensure he is playing appropriately (He sometimes mounts other dogs). They don't ignore problem behavior and they inform me of any concerns upon pick up each day. Last time he went for boarding they noticed he had a puncture on his face (I believe from one of my other dogs) and they went ahead and cleaned it and applied ointment which I SO appreciated. They also sent me an email to make sure I was aware (I had been but it had opened up during play and had been bleeding again) which I know not everyone would do!
