    Horrific dog groomers

    parents little dog got butchered at this Petsmart today I believe a 10 year old could have done a better job ! who does this to a little dog ? chunk here chunk there GONE apparently they have zero idea on what they are doing. neglected any communication even though specific instructions were left . they did give a refund but should have gone above and beyond THAT with the unprofessional job they did . now she will have to be shaved all the way down! I have only ever seen this bad a job when one kid gets ahold of the shears and unleashes on the other kid usually a 5 year old ! unbelievable! See photo

    Dropped dog off @9am for scheduled appointment and was told max 3 hours. Didn't receive a call for pickup until 2:30pm. We mainly asked for the ears and feet to be groomed and overall trim. Feet weren't trimmed, ears barely trimmed, layers all over his fur (like the groomer rushed).

    Once upon a time PetSmart was our Blanket GoTo for Every and Anything Pet Related. I Believe I even Volunteered Here with the Cats. Well as of Today St. Patty's Day 2019 College Drive is A NO GO! For My Roy Boy. Grooming Policy Requires he be Walked/ Dragged thru to the back area. NOT FOR MY BOY! We Don't Do Neck Collars or Ropes Around our neck-He is a purse guy or even his Body Harness but that's not the option and there's no warm up process for him to accept this unknown person attempting to drag him by the neck-- Yeah This Does Not Work for Us!! Sadly THIS RELATIONSHIP IS DONE...

    I am spittin' mad, and -until now- I have never written an angry review on Yelp. Well, friends, that is about to change. Let's listen to a story about how PetSmart Grooming (PG) went from 4-stars down to 1. I have been a loyal customer at PG since my five-year-old miniature schnauzer was just a baby. Baxter is a sweet dog, and in the past, I was always told he was good at the groomers except for little things here and there that he didn't like. I am a great customer--I am on-time; I am not picky about the cut they give Baxter (meaning I don't complain); and I always tip. A few appointments ago, I brought Baxter home and realized his paw was sore. I figured they cut his nails too short or cut the quick. I never got upset or even said anything to them because I know it can be difficult to groom dogs. However, the next time I went to pick him up from his groomer appointment, I was told he was a bit difficult when it came to using the clippers near his foot. That's when I told them about what happened the last time. Okay--no big deal. When I went to pick up Baxter last night, the groomer (Bri) told me that he didn't like anything. He was frothing at the mouth, he was very stressed, and they may have to "refer" him to a vet to groom him. (The notes also said he nipped. He has never nipped before--never.) She said we could try again one more time if I wanted to, but if it happened again, they would "refer" him. At that point, I was shocked. I was so upset, confused, and surprised; I paid my bill, grabbed Baxter, and left. Last night, I started thinking about what a good customer I've been to them, and then all of a sudden, they want to send him off to somewhere else because of their own doing. I know PetSmart won't read this or even care about one customer. I'm sure they have a policy about dealing with "difficult" dogs. My issue with this whole this is that THEY are the ones who stressed my dog, and their assembly line-style grooming is the problem. The good news is I will never step foot in PetSmart again. I take full responsibility for taking Baxter there in the first place. I never felt right--especially when I knew he hated going there. I will find a groomer who actually cares about animals.

    He looks like he has face paralysis because it's SO UNEVEN.

    Never again! They left my poor pup looking all janky! He had bald spots and was so uneven! The groomer seemed nice but the other employees clearly hate their jobs there.

We scheduled an in-home grooming appointment for our 4 lb Yorkie and were given a confirmed time of 4:45 PM on Friday. That time came and went with no communication, so we called at 5:30 PM and were told they couldn't make it due to a prior appointment running long. We were then rescheduled for Saturday at 2:30 PM, but received a call at 12:30 PM that the groomer had gone home sick. They offered a free grooming on Monday, which is appreciated, but given the repeated cancellations and lack of reliability, we declined. Unfortunately, the experience reflects poor time management and inconsistency, which makes it difficult to trust future appointments.

Their communication is non existent unless I reach out first. Over the past year, they have repeatedly canceled last minute or failed to show up for my scheduled appointment. I have had to reschedule more times than I can count because they cannot seem to manage a calendar. Most recently, I scheduled my two large dogs for a late afternoon appointment in April. The day of the appointment, I received no word from them. After sitting around for an hour, I texted them (again), and they responded with some lazy excuse about the groomer running out of time and only being able to do one dog. No. That is your problem to fix, not mine. I rescheduled for two weeks later because my dogs desperately needed to be groomed. No confirmation. No outreach. So once again, I had to follow up the day before. They responded to me the next day with another ridiculous excuse about how the groomer had to go to urgent care because of a cat scratch. I do not buy it, and frankly, I do not care. I also work with clients, and even after I got into a car crash in October 2023, I still managed to notify and reschedule my appointments while I was actively standing at the scene of the crash. That is called professionalism. Clearly, that concept does not exist at this company. Now I am left bathing two large dogs in my own bathtub, despite dealing with a back issue. That should never have been the outcome of a scheduled professional grooming appointment. Zoomin Grooming is unreliable, unprofessional, and run like a joke. Save yourself the stress and find anyone else.
