(PHOTOS ATTACHED) Want to start this with saying I don't frequent this location so I don't know what they're like on a day to day basis. But, I keep fish, and the lack of basic care led me to write this review. When I went in today I took a look at their fish wall, specifically the snail section (which they are almost always out of snails and shrimp) where I saw multiple deceased snails. It was also evident that they had been left there for a while with the few other live snails since none of the soft body was left, just the shell. Which is first of all gross and secondly can be dangerous for the other snails alive in the tank. (Side note: I purchased snails from here in 2025, firstly the worker did not honor my request for larger snails only, but all three of the snails I bought were sick, and in questionable condition. Nonetheless, all three did survive) Additionally, when I looked at their comet goldfish tank (this is the goldfish tank with lots of juvenile goldfish) there were also multiple deceased fish at the bottom that the other fish were eating. These dead fish had been eaten down to the bone so they were not very obvious but that still not ideal at all seeing as you could tell they were in there for a while (I visited the store around 2:00PM at this point they'd been open for 4 hrs). The goldfish tanks also had a very strong, noticeable odor that tells me they haven't been cleaned recently. Last thing for the fish, their betta fish were actually in seemingly good condition. I didn't stay to look for that long because it's in an awkward spot right in front of the door and cash register (it's to prevent shoplifting, and so they're front and center). The cup display is well lit and only some of the cups had cloudy water. But if this display were in the back of the store I'm sure it would have been in much worse condition based on the other tanks on the wall. The customer service was nothing noteworthy. The cashier just seemed like she wanted to finish the transaction as fast as possible, which is fine even though there wasn't anyone in line behind me. Overall, this specific location was 2 stars mostly becuase the store was very clean, and they did have most of their items in stock. The main concern is the quality of life their animals have before finding their forever home. I personally would think twice though before purchasing any animal from here as I know they have had issues with animal (mostly aquatic) sickness in the past. (PHOTOS ATTACHED) read more

I would give no stars if possible. I have taken my dogs to Petsmart on E. Broad in Reynoldsburg for grooming g for several years. My one dog is dead and I have in past always been happy with how they treat her. No more! I was shocked when I went to pick her up to find a $20 fee added on for two things never mentioned. I took my own shampoo as always as my dog has allergies. I was this time told AFTER the fact there was a $10 fee for this. Also, I was charged $10 because she allegedly kept escaping - something. Which has never happened before. The fact they couldn't control her on the table was dangerous to her and alarming. No ie. Has had a problem like this before with her which makes me question the ability and experience and groomers. I will never take her there again. Her safety means more than anything and they obviously don't care. read more

My 2nd time visiting this one with my 2 year old pup.. I always make an appointment and it takes 3-4 hours.. This appointment Tuesday May 28th, he was really hesitant (which he is way too friendly) I requested a Farmington with nail trim. He is finicky and I told them, also brought a muzzle..but if they kept say good boy.. he likes that.. They sent me a survey and I have included their response...RUDE CS!! I am so proud of their policy for our flat nosed dogs at their grooming facility! No acepromazine prior to treatment! Kudos!!! My 4 y.o. Frenchie was overdosed with it and killed in March by a veterinarian hospital. Thank you for learning about this drug and protecting our dogs! read more

Would give a zero review if I could. Very disappointed! Had requested to cut low & look at the picture and go easy on the legs and this was the end result! How do you get it wrong when you take a picture of the picture to reference. Jocei is new & needs more practice! This is the worst place. I had an appointment scheduled for my dog to be groomed. The Salon manager refused to groom my dog because he had too much hair. UMM THAT'S YOUR JOB! She basically didn't want to do her job. She was thoughtful enough to provide me other facilities that would cut my dogs hair, but she wouldn't even touch my dog! I asked if she could at least bathe him and cut around certain areas and she refused. Then she went to the back and wouldn't talk to me. She sent her "student", who is training, to talk to me. I felt bad for the student because it wasn't her fault but the salon manager is horrible and has a nasty attitude. I need to get her name, but she is short with tattoos on her arm. Very upset with my recent groomer & I'm going to try & be nice to not say a name but (The manager) is what they told me she was ... but considering how my dogs haircut was so horrible and how he still smelled is beyond me that u can even be labeled a " manager " it's real frustrating when your dog has been going to the same place for years and every time we have a good groomer they end up leaving and all hell breaks loose . This the second time my dogs normal groomer has quit and I've been stuck with someone new who can't supposedly handle my dog ... for whatever reason when it sounds to me that they just don't have the patience to begin with I already pay extra for express cut because I know my dog can't handle being in the back for too long .. long story short the cut was rushed & my dog has scrapes on his bottom area and he needs a bath again . & I can just tell he wasn't treated with patience at all . Scheduled an appointment. Sent my dog in for bath and nails done. 3 hours later I came to get my dog and they said it would be another hour!!!!! Finally I had enough, demanded my dog. They disappeared and no one was around. Come to find out that nothing was done when they said she was still wet from her bath!!!! They lied about doing anything! Then still expected me to pay full price for nothing done! Complained to management and corporate. Nothing done!!! read more

Very disappointed with Petsmart. I ordered a small snap martingale collar online, with curbside pickup. I didn't realize until I got home that they gave me a medium collar. No big deal. They said I could come in and exchange it. I went back the next day, they were out of smalls. I decided to wait to see if they got more later, or check a different store. I went back a week later and found a small one in the color I wanted. I told the cashier that I ordered and paid for a small, but they gave me a medium and wanted to exchange them. She scanned the collars and told me that I owed them $7 more for the collar that I had already paid for. The exact same collar!! No thank you!!! I will be ordering from Chewy. My dog is very afraid of getting her haircut so she growls a lot but I've never had an issue with someone not being able to groom her. Until now. Petsmart employees called me 2 hours after I dropped her off saying they couldn't cut her hair. Fine I get it, she is too scared to calm down. But my dog came home with fleas!! She did not have them before here because she had just been to the vet earlier in the week! Now she's been scratching nonstop ever since we left! I'm so mad. I've seen the fleas and now have to spend my money to treat them even though she caught them at petsmart! read more

This was by far one of the BEST grooming experiences we (me and my Shih Tzu) have had with Petsmart Grooming Salon in years!! 1) Don't ya just love that new store smell and look! From the time you walk into this newly designed and freshly opened package of Petsmart chain store you feel very welcome. The wider reception/drop off area at the grooming salon is an awesome update and definitely provides an inviting feel to what can be a scary experience for some. There's also a price list posted on the wall and of course pics of owners with their fur babies. Very open with lots of natural light coming through the windows. Now the nitty gritty...... 2)As soon as we arrived the stylist, Jamie, came out, introduced herself and did a thorough (and I mean thorough!) assessment of my dog. Not only was she assessing her overall temperament but of course her fur to see what exactly needed to be done. I know what you're thinking, but no, everyone does NOT take the time to get to know their "client" before the chop job begins. I even shared with Jamie the bad experiences at another Petsmart and with a private groomer. Think of it this way...would you want to go to a new salon and have a stylist just start cutting or coloring your hair simply because they've "done it a million times" or would a more personable approach tailored to your specific hair texture and desired look make you feel like you were in good hands?! My Shih Tzu had some matting on her ears and Jamie went as far as to ask her awesome manager, Lauren, what she thought would be best in order to give my dog the best and cutest cut possible. We could not have gotten a better result! Thank you Jamie, Lauren, Stephanie and the rest of the Petsmart store #2774 staff for making this a great experience. Called this morning and was told walk in nail trims were available until 6:30p. Arrived with my dog at 6:00p and found the salon closed. The operation hours clearly stated 7a-7p on Wednesday. When I inquired I was told that everyone had left because it was a slow night. I should have been told when I called that they accept walk ins until 6:30p only if they are busy and don't leave early. Left work early to make the hours and will never go back to this location. Terrible customer service. read more

If you want to buy your pet a toy or something this is a good place to go. However if you need to take your dog for grooming or any service they offer in the grooming salon do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They used to be good but those people have all quit and gone somewhere else. People they have now are not only incompetent at their work (which will average about 6 hours for them to finally get your dog done) they will not do what they are supposed to do and will give you some flimsy excuse why they didn't do it but still charge you for it. We get our dogs back and ears are trimmed uneven, missed spots on their coats and no hair pulled from inside their ears which will cause ear infections. Finally got tired of them not doing it and called and was told our dogs didn't want to have it done. What kind of excuse is that, did they ask our dogs and they answered "they would rather not have it done" they don't trim nails good either. Uneven and not short enough. It is not because our dogs are not taken care of and are matted, they go in every 2 months for grooming. Will have to find somewhere else to go. I have finally had it with such a expensive but poor job done. read more

I took my fur kid, cat, for her first ever grooming and Megan was/is fantastic!! I stopped in to buy kitty treats and inquired at grooming about best way to comb out matted hair. Megan explained the best for my grooming challenged girl was to bring her in for an all over shave after I told Megan the matting is middle of back to tail area. Megan explained what would happen during the appointment and if my girl didn't do well during the appointment Megan would call me to come get my cat as Megan wouldn't force the remainder of the grooming on my cat. I was hooked! I can't speak for other grooming locations, only this one. I'm completely appreciative they put the welfare of the animal above finishing the grooming if the animal isn't enjoying the appointment. Everyone was friendly and addressed me by my kitty's name. Her name was even on the welcome board! How welcoming is that?! I totally recommend taking your fur kid to this location. If you have a cat definitely ask for Megan! She's so caring towards your animal and listens to what you want done and advises the best grooming options. If I need to take my kitty back I'll be scheduling with for Megan.
