I've been to this location twice now to get my dog Levi groomed, and I love it because of Sydney!! The front desk area was clean except the two seats in the lobby. They need to be cleaned so guests can sit and wait if needed. Sydney is super sweet and very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, and I feel comfortable leaving Levi with her. She checked him in, told me what they'll be doing with the package I bought, then did a visual inspection before taking him back. This location is way bigger than the PetSmart around my area in the 626 and it is relatively much newer and feels newer too. None of that urine or cleaner smell, even in the slightest. Everything was well organized and in its place. Store was super easy to navigate. Pets in their enclosures seemed happy enough with the limitation of space. Plenty of enrichment with hides and climbs, clean water, food stocked, and fish tanks didn't have any corpses. That's asking a lot for some of the other locations that I've been to. Staff were helpful and at the time of our visit, plenty of cashiers and we checked out easily and efficiently. read more

This review is for the grooming experience. Ashley did a fantastic job on my westie terrier. Not only did she follow my notes on what I wanted, she executed them perfectly. She did the carrot tail, the blend of the top to the bottom skirt was seamless, the round face all well - characteristic of the breed cut - and cut the skirt at a shorter length, which is what I wanted. My family and I were gifted two, 8-week old Yorkies and had nothing prepared for them at home. We stopped at this PetSmart on the way home from a family function to purchase a few items. The store is located in a newer and very nice shopping center w/ plenty of parking. The store itself was very clean, well organized and fully stocked. Place is nice. The grooming workers are weirdly rude or probably just TOO introverted--you stand there for like 10-15 minutes just waiting for them to at LEAST acknowledge you. I was told a puppy bath would take over 35 minutes, so we waited in the area expecting for the time to go by quickly. When we went back, they said it would take over 2-4 hours, which is pretty annoying and I don't think that kind of miscommunication should happen. People have stuff to do and don't really want to be misinformed when it comes to estimated times. Overall, not a terrible place, or even a bad one. Let's start by "JESSE" Sold us fish they seemed to be lethargic after 24 hours, came in to test our water he sold us the wrong chemicals for the tank had us buy jumbo bottles for a 5 gallon tank all our fish ended up dying , he clearly doesn't know , anything about fish? He tried to sell us aggressive fish to put with our fancy gold fish , and sucker fish. When clearly at the store, there's a color code for certain fish and people that actually know what they're talking about and purchasing know that you can't mix aggressive fish with fancy innocent goldfish. read more

This happened to me on December 3rd. I picked up my order from Nothing Bundt Cakes and decided to go to PetSmart to look around for some aquarium plants and some small schooling fish. No one greeted me. Not even one smile. An employee approached and asked if I needed any help. I told her what I was looking for and she walked off. I was looking at fish and two people didn't even acknowledge me. I was looking at aquarium equipment and the employee who asked me if I needed help stood in front of the aisle and gave me a dirty look. She never asked me if I needed help. She just stood there and gave me a dirty look. On my way out, in front of EVERYONE, she accused me of putting something in my bag from Nothing Bundt Cakes and demanded to look inside of it in front of customers coming and going as she looked in my bag only to find the four Bundt cakes I bought next door. I visited this PetSmart about five weeks ago (around Labor Day) to look at turtle tanks for my daughter's Red Slider. He has grown a lot since she got him six months ago. None of the employees at other pet stores have been able to give me much help, but there were two EXCEPTIONAL ladies at this store who did. I'm embarrassed to say it's been so long that I don't recall their names. They were able to not only point me to the correct tank (with a bunch of accessories included for a terrific price!) but found me an excellent deal that had a great (!!) online coupon. They gave me wonderful advice regarding turtle care as well, something my daughter really needed. They both had extensive experience with fish and reptiles, and PetSmart is lucky to have such wonderful employees. In the end, I was thrilled to have found a store where I not only got exactly what I needed, but it ended up being substantially less money than I would have expected due to the online coupons. read more

Based on the service I received today, I rate them a zero. Made a grooming appointment, 45 minutes before the appointment Ashley called me and said that I needed to schedule an express service, and I did. When Ashley called she was extremely rude, at that time I asked if Clarissa is available to service us since she has done a great job since 8/2023. I was told that she was unavailable. Got to the appointment 13 minutes early and was told to wait. A walk in came inside and was given priority service and checked in by our groomer before our dog even though we were there first AND had an appointment. When I addressed the concern I was told that our appointment wasn't until 2:30, but it was 2:33 when they checked in the other walk in puppy. Pointless in making appointments as they choose who they want to give priority to. Definitely biased, I wont be back, I refused to give my money to anyone who treats me unfairly. read more

Let me start by saying we have been taking our dogs to get groomed at PetSmart for a long time and after today's experience we will no longer be getting any services here or spending any money at petsmart in the future. We had an appointment today for 10:30. I had my two daughters walk our dog in while I parked so we would not be late. As I walked in my daughters were walking out and told me they said our appointment wasn't until 11:30 which is not true. We walked back in and nobody says anything to us when they know we were just attempting to check in with two groomers at the counter. One was working with another customer and another just sitting there. After a few minutes finally the lady just sitting there asks if we are there for grooming. I said yes and she asked our dogs name. Once I said our dogs name the other lady who we find out is also our groomer finally says our appointment is at 11:30. I then looked at her and said no it's not. We we're booked for 10:30 not 11:30. No apologies no acknowledgment of their error, she continues to tell me she has other groomings scheduled and can take her but her appointment isn't until 11:30 and I said ok but we needed to try to stay close to original pick up time. At this point another groomer steps in and whispers in her ear. I assume offering help because our groomer says to her are you sure. Our groomer then says they will do their best to stay on schedule. I said ok. We proceed to wait until 11 to be checked in mind you they took two other customers in between us that showed up after us. Terrible customer service. But this is where is gets beyond ridiculous. Mind you I could tell our groomer was irritated as if I was lying about our scheduled appointment time. She was treating us differently from the beginning which my daughters also noticed. Once she finally gives us the time of day I explain to her what I did when I booked the appt which was she would have to be shaved down because we went on vacation and her hair gets tangled extremely easy if not brushed all the time. Something they have done for us once before but the tangles were way worse than this time. She proceeded to tell me she would have to shave her all the way down which is what we booked and that there is a risk that she may have some ruptured blood vessels once the matts are removed from her ears. I made the mistake of saying that happened to one ear the last time you guys had to cut her down and that we thought they accidentally nicked the ear but didn't complain bcus we understood mistakes can happen when cutting all the way down and it was minor. She then says oh we did not nick her I will need to consult with my manager. She goes into the grooming room and talks to someone grooming a dog then comes out and says we have had a lot of changes I have to talk to a different manager. Then some guy walks over and she tells him about the issue with the ears and she wanted to know if they should do the cut or recommend seeing our vet instead. They decline to do her grooming because of her ears because they don't have a vet on sight yet we have to sign a disclosure to contact a vet if needed. I cannot express how frustrating this entire interaction was. They could care less and it showed from the moment we walked in. We left after almost being there an hour with our dog. So many issues. They should have checked us in when we got there at 10:30 not at 11. It would have saved us the wasted hour to only tell us we can't groom your dog although we have done this exact cut with the same concerns before. I would have still left upset but making us wait for so long for nothing just added fuel to the fire. Looking at the glass half full we found a local groomer that was wonderful and kind. PetSmart could take some lessons from a small local groomer! read more

My baby Spud took training classes for both intermediate and puppy. Naomi is an amazing trainer and really made spud feel welcomed. Not all places are welcoming to big dogs but here it felt so nice for us. Even the dogs we took classes with were big. These classes really helped with his training for social life. The store is clean and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. As a first time pet owner I had lots of questions and lots of trials and errors. The staff was so kind and always super helpful and their advice usually worked. I also did training with Naomi and she was phenomenal! I love the app because the pick up is super easy and they come out fast. I wait two minutes and they bring it out! I've also done the grooming. They were also great for the first groom. I no longer take them only because I have a personal groomer who will do nail clipping and brush teeth for one price versus all the expensive add ons. Do not take your dog for grooming with Kristina H. I will never set foot in the groomers again. They used to have great groomers however they now have uneducated/untrained groomers. My Beagle had a full service and had her anal glands expressed by Kristina H. A week later, I'm at the Emergency Pet Hospital with the vet informing me that my dog has an anal sac infection due to her glands being squeezed incorrectly. The vet performed a corrective procedure and my Beagle is on antibiotics/pain killers. I now have to clean her bum three times a day. The bill came to $971. Take your dog to the vet for her anal glands to be expressed as the unskilled Petsmart groomers haven't the foggiest as to what they're doing. read more

At first we were excited to get our dog in for a same day grooming appointment, but after getting home, our dog left a trail of blood through the house, sending us into a panic. Several calls to animal hospital and help from some friends, we figured out the nail had been cut too short. Wrapped it up and bandaged the leg, and he was ok a day later. So today, I brought my dog in, and his name is Papa, and he's the kindest sweetest dog ever, never aggressive. You could do almost anything to him, and he will not react. I know he was a little rough (his coat) when I brought him in since it had been like a month or two since I had gone in, but I was not expecting what I hear at the end. I was told that my dog was aggressive and biting at them, and the next time I came in, if he continued to act like that, I would get charge a surcharge. I DO NOT recommend grooming with this petsmart store in Redlands. I called in for an appointment and clearly mentioned that I would need an experienced groomer for hair cut and shampoo. They kept my puppy who is less than an year old from 8:00 - 2:30 and finished half way and gave us a call asking us to take him home right away and they cannot complete it because he was too stressed. Poor thing , they didn't even take him to pee once. He was traumatized. He had some bleeding on his head couple of hours after we got him home. And the worst part is , when I called asking them if I could bring him the following day, they said they didn't have appointment for the next 10 days. I will never take my pet their again. I just want a simple shave. Persmart groomer randomly tried to add 2 upgrades without actually telling me. I take my dog for a bath and blow out every two weeks and they still charged me a dematting fee as well as told me my dogs face was dirty and needed special attention. When I informed them that I bring him in regularly for baths and was told the bathers only wipe his face with a towelette the groomer back tracked and said his fur was stained. I would not suggest this location. Twice my dog was still dirty after a bath. Once he had poop on his butt (which was why I brought him in) and the second time he had black mark's on his face. I have been taking my dog here since she was a baby and sadly I am going to have to stop. I have a mini goldendoodle with wavy hair which does get matted. On my last visit, Kimberly was her groomer and she completely shaved my dog down and left her with bald patches. I called the manager the next day and she said "Yeah I was here and Zoey was matted" . I understand she's matted however they should've brushed her down since I paid the 20$ demat & brush fee instead she shaved her down. I get it's easier to just shave however if I am being charged more for brushing her down why did she feel the need to leave my dog with bald patches? The best times to stock up on doggie toys and treats are the day after Christmas when they have their 50% off all Christmas items! I have gotten my boyfriend's dog a big, 2 foot-ish long, bone from Ross (about $10-$12) every year for Christmas. This year, my bf found the same huge bone for $6.50! Very nice store. Employees were friendly and helpful. The shelves were well stocked and the place was clean. Many people who own pets do their best to take care of them. When you check out, the credit card machines ask for donations. I do it occasionally, but I like to donate through my company as they match. But sad puppy eyes can get people feeling guilty. On my visit here, they hit you with an additional ask for donations BESIDE the machine. I mean, there's a fine line between getting people contribute and feel taken advantage of. Brought my dog in to get groomed (was supposed to get bath, hair cut, blow dry, brush, nails, teeth and ears). 2 hours in, I get a call to tell me they can't cut her hair (my dog is feisty but doesn't hurt anyone but with the right feedback, she calms down and let's you groom her---I'm no expert and I'm able to groom her at home). I paid almost $80 for a bath and a "blow dry" (cleaned her ears), which is the same thing I do at home. Couldn't even blow dry her hair? They had her for 4 hours! When I picked her up they had not even taken her potty for 4 hours or given her any water...she was exploding when I picked her up! I paid almost $80 for the same thing I can do at home...for free! Don't recommend these groomers! Very disappointed. read more
