Also, what a cute business name?! have heard good things about Woof Gang in the past and when I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the table display of homemade treats. The two women working let me know that the treats are made fresh, in-house every day, which I wasn't expecting! I don't remember their names, but they were super friendly and helpful. They have 2 locations in the Raleigh-area, I believe. The parking in Cameron Village isn't always the greatest, but depending on the time you show up, you may still be able to snag a spot in front of the building. We walked away with a few frosted treats, a bag of their brand's treats, and a duck head (we heard these were so popular!). I think the prices were pretty fair considering this is a gourmet pet shop/groomer but did read a sign that said prices would be changing come 2021. I would definitely come back again! I'm so glad I checked Woof Gang out!

On two separate occasions, my dog came home with injuries--once with her paws cut too short to the point that she required veterinary attention, and another time with an injury near her eye. Despite giving the business the benefit of the doubt after these incidents, I continued to try their services. After booking a future appointment, I was then called and informed that they would be cancelling and no longer providing services for my dog moving forward. While I understand any business can choose to discontinue service, the decision felt abrupt given the history of prior incidents and lack of resolution or discussion. Overall, I am disappointed with both the safety experience and the way the situation was handled. I would not feel comfortable recommending this groomer to others.

First of all, I really like the name of this place, how cute... and brilliant. The Pawty haha! Secondly, I love the fact that this place doesn't cage dogs. I mean "grooming" is pretty stressful to dogs already, so caging them for hours and making them wait on us for a while? nope, not a big fan. I made an appointment with Keeley thru the phone and gosh, let me tell you this, she is the best/nicest groomer ever. When we got there, Teddy was too nervous and as soon as she picked him up, he pooped! I felt so bad but Keeley just laughed and tried so hard to make my dog feel comfortable. My dog has some kind of anxiety issue and when I met Keeley, I already knew that Teddys in good hands! I told Keeley what kind of haircut I wanted, things about Teddy, etc. I could tell Keeley truly cares about dogs and she will treat your dogs just like hers! She did such an amazing job with my little man Teddy and I was so impressed; perfect nails, poofy tails, his body hair looked so even, and oh my god, Teddy smelled so good for days!!! I think that for this kind of amazing job and the fact that my dog doesn't need to wait on me in the cage for hours, this price is very reasonable. Teddy and I just came back from our second visit today and Teddy seemed like he had such a great time with Keeley! Keeley always tells me how Teddy did, what I need to know about his coat and skin, and other little stuff I can miss easily. When I was talking to the woman at the register she said that she (my dog) acted like she knew the drill and walked right into her kennel/cage which is incredible because she hates water or baths and usually tries to make a run for it at least she did when we would take her to Petco. Super friendly and helpful staff and extremely reasonable prices ($110 for an XL? dog: mini groom/teeth brushed and clipped nails included)l. My dog is usually between 105-110 lbs). They did SUCH a good job clipping her nails. Even the vets we've seen in the past can't do a good job and sometimes miss nails altogether. They did a wonderful job. Would come back and skip the belly shave. Parking is a loading zone at the front of the shop. It's "downtown" Raleigh but like on the outskirts so it's not too busy and it isn't difficult to get a parking spot if you go in the morning. Drop off is between 8-10am. I dropped her off at 9 and they finished by around 3 (like 2:45 to be exact haha).

The last couple of times she groomed our dog there were a couple of issues, so the last time she came to our home to take care of our dog I brought those issues to her attention. A few days later she sent an email ending our "business relationship" because though our "complaints and concerns are valid" she "could not confirm or deny" what happened. I wish to point out that when I told her of these concerns that I was as polite as I could be with her, so that she was aware of what happened. In her email to us she expressed that she felt very anxious while working on our dog after our exchange. Which is part of the reason she quit. After 5 years of having her come to our house to groom our pet and having a pleasant business relationship we thought we had, we thought that bringing things like this to her attention would be nothing more than something for her to consider while working on our pet, regardless of whether she could confirm or deny what she was being being told.

At least one of the owners of the facility is always on site and in my experience, they're very invested in the well-being of their customers - again, dogs AND humans! (A bit odd the groomer herself was not speaking with me directly but put faith in her being a professional and my dog being somewhat common/well-known breed.) I specifically stated no shave. I'm all for a summer cut, but my baby was sheared! About 0.5-1in left on her, shaved her belly, and nicked her paws (discovered after we got home). Totally took away from integrity of the breed and it's cut. The technique used did not look anywhere near professional.

Waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and with the summer heat, have no choice but to cut my dog's hair myself. The people making this policy must be completely ignorant to the fact that most Spaniels, Bulldogs, Beagles, Dachshunds, etc have an IVDD gene. If they're really that worried about their liability, they shouldn't groom any of these breeds AND let you know that when you make the appointment....not halfway through it. What a terrible franchise.
