If I could less than a star I would, this isn't the first time one of dogs have had "behavioral problems" after the third visit. The first two visits he was "such a good boy" but this time around I only wanted a trim and leave his fluff, which should only be 40$. This was his birthday cut so when I got the phone call that he was "nipping and biting" I was shocked because my puppy who is a year has never showed any aggression at all. When I picked him, he had matted clumps of hair and uneven hair because they simply didn't brush or attempt to give a proper hair cut. I was charged 90$ for her to simply blow him out and put his sanitary areas and paws with nails. I was outraged at the price and how my puppy looked for his first birthday. I will never step into this grooming place again. They are fake dog lovers and will do anything for an extra penny. This is first ever review on this app and that's how mad I am.

I paid for a lion cut. Long on head and feet and short on the body. She is a puppy. Rebecca L. Did her hair and said she had to stop because she peed on the table. She butchered the top of her head and left the rest of her long and a mess. Do not bring your dog here!!!

Love this dog paradise! Just fabulous community centered store, a mom and pop shop. It makes my heart open up when I buy here.

PetSmart has a decent selection of products (at least for dogs, as that's what I'm there for), at prices that aren't too bad. In fact, as a lad who adopted his dog (through DCSPCA and PetSmart's partnership), I was gracious enough to receive a book full of coupons to help offset the cost of products I'd need for the little one. That was a tremendous help, by the way. This facility is also very clean and well-organized, with friendly staff available for assistance at any time. The shining stars are the groomers. I've requested the expertise of both Kara M. and Samantha S., and both have exceeded my expectations with my shih tzu. My dog came out looking good and wasn't the least bit terrified. The care and pride that they take certainly shows in their work, and that's something that doesn't go unnoticed. Their washes/cuts are certainly recommended, and I'll certainly be back.

Our dog was totally out of control and having recently but our baby, we didn't know what to do. Angelo took our dog within a week and a half of contacting him and helped guide us along the way until we were able to drop him off. We committed our dog to the 8 week program, unsure of what to expect but hoping for the best. We knew this was a last resort. It's now been about 6 months since we have picked our dog up from the program and I can confidently say that it was the best decision we could have made for our family. Not only is he more controlled, he is actually a joy to be around and have around our child. He listens to commands and we find ourselves very rarely needing to correct bad behavior as it doesn't really happen. We went from having a dog who would never come when called, bark uncontrollably, destroy toys and furniture, to a dog who immediately goes to place on a cot when someone knocks on the door (without being prompted) and lets out a few alert barks and stops once i say enough. We no longer have to worry about aggression with our child. He is great about listening when we get him away from her and often will walk away from her on his own when before he would growl. Additionally Angelo has checked in to see how our dog is doing, if any issues have come up, and whenever he needs a training refresh we have been able to bring him back. We will be sending all future dogs to Angelo for training

We took him in, loved him, and still found ourselves in crisis -- biting, aggression, resource guarding. We were scared of our dog and desperate for help. Oliver was our fifth dog and as a family we were seasoned users of positive reinforcement as the primary training method. We turned to Angelo at Art of K9 and made the decision to board Oliver for 8 weeks. He took on Oliver after a thorough consultation. Angelo worked through Oliver's aggression and resource guarding using the e-collar and other training tools. These methods gave us the ability to communicate with and control our dog in a way positive reinforcement couldn't. The transformation is hard to put into words. Oliver is now relaxed, cuddly, and genuinely at peace. He still has his moments -- but now we have the tools to handle them. This has changed everything. If you have a dog with serious aggression or resource guarding and you're at your breaking point, I highly recommend Angelo. He didn't just train Oliver -- he saved his life and we are so thankful.

We brought her up here and used two different trainers (one in Texas) before we found Felix. His method and compassion for training seemed to transform Sara from a crazy hyper dog who would run away off leash to a well behaved dog who loves to run around the yard now without any incidents, off leash. Once we solve the cat / dog issues in the house, there will be peace again. Thank you Felix.

Please keep in mind we've been through 2 trainers that wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. Also recommended euthanasia. Also, no one would board her. No one. I had to put on my horse boots so I could get a better grip on the ground because she was pulling so hard to either go after him, or me pulling he towards the house and let me tell you- Mastiffs are strong. And I work with horses. Lol. She HATED her new trainer. Barked aggressively at him and threatened him. Felix Rosado was un-phased and calm. It took a lot of logistics and strength to get her into his house and in a crate (I had to do it because she was definitely going to bite him with me around) Felix again, unphased. Almost an hour long drop off. A lot of drama. I admit, I cried in the car afterwards. Then I was thinking....WTF. How is he going to handle her or get near her?! She wanted to eat him. Felix's references put my mind at ease and I did my best not to think about it. This is my baby. I stress. Nope. For once, I felt comfortable. I found someone with the balls to work with her. I respect the shit out of anyone willing to risk an attack to wrk with a misunderstood, aggressive dog. He's obviously very passionate about what he does. That in itself speaks volumes. Not only did Felix keep in touch with me throughout her stay with updates (I call them "PupDates"), he sent me a video of him scratching her, giving massages that same night Nala was putty in his hands. I picked her up today, she didn't give a shit about me. Loved him. LMAO. I came home from my trip with a very happy dog that made a new friend/trainer. I look forward to working more with them both because they're a great couple. I'm so happy and relieved. Thank you Felix Rosado!

When Emma was less than a year old she was running to and from the neighbor's house where I was chasing after her constantly. The final straw was the day that she came in contact with her future boyfriend Tully boy. I did not know that Tully boy was harmless at the time but it scared me enough that I ran all the way home and went right for the Yellow Pages. LITERALLY. True story. It was then that I had an opportunity to talk to Chris and about a week later he installed the invisible fence by Dog Guard around my 2-acre property. He also installed the monitor in the flower beds and in one room inside (where I fed the cats). The training only needed to be done once because the second time Emma wanted no part of it... She took one look at Chris and ran in the other direction.... Which means she got it from GetGo LOL not that I'm laughing really because it's sad to see your dog get zapped for the first time. But she never got zapped again. Once those yellow flags are up the dog wants no part of trying to go through them. Emma would always stay 5 to 10 feet away. Needless to say she never went through it except one time when I was on my bicycle and drove past the end of the driveway down the street. At that time though she didn't have the collar on. In her defense she was just probably a nervous wreck not wondering where I was going so she took the risk. She never wore the collar after about the first 6 months. She didn't need to. Most dogs don't. The first thing I will be doing is calling Chris to install another invisible fence after I get my next home and before I get my next dog. Note: over the years of having my dog fence I needed revisions from time to time because when I was cutting the hedges I sometimes accidentally cut the wires and Chris would have to come back. So really, he kind of became a family friend and a trustworthy source.
