They did a wonderful job with socializing her and starting her off on training. The facility itself is beautiful. It's very clean and well staffed. Highly recommend!

The grooming was actually fine but paying $90 to have my 6.5 month old puppy traumatized and…read morestressed unnecessarily while she's waiting to be picked up is inexcusable. An employee literally laughed at me when I expressed fear and concern for my puppy who was in the back barking incessantly (which she literally has never done before). She literally laughed while my dog who never barks was screaming, while simultaneously ignoring my request to see her while I was waiting for several minutes and then trying to help the gentleman who walked in after me. Employees made it clear that they don't care about my dog and they verbatim said "get a certified trainer" (when she already has one) to justify their abhorrent, inhumane behavior is what you can expect. I would not recommend trusting the staff at ShamPooches with your dog.

this is not a place to take your animal for grooming. I brought my dog and two cats there, we are…read morenew to the area. I am extremely protective of my dog as she is 14. There was absolutely no grooming equipment, just an exam table. all I had needed was all 3 animals nails clipped. the doctor suggested they could sedate my dog if she was fussy. she is 25 pounds and 14, I told him I am not going to have you sedate a 14 year old dog for a nail clipping she could die, to which he shrugged and said it's always a possibility. I should have left then. the receptionist and he proceeded to forcibly hold my dog down sideways and roughLy snip her nails with the oldest clipper on earth. I truly feel guilty I let this happen and I don't write reviews but I don't want this to happen to someone else. they then charged me 180 for nail clipping the three animals. I asked why, to which the receptionist told me for the pre exam. he did not exam them, merely weighed them that's all he did. and she told me they do this every time. so not only brutal, but a completely dis honest business.
