I bought Ollie for his scheduled appointment which I was so happy to be able to pick and choose my services for my fur baby online. For $65-70 , you get a lovely bath, groom, nails trimmed/cut, cute accessory, ears and teeth cleaning. This is a HUGE deal as many other grooming places charge so much higher prices for these same services. I immediately felt welcomed and reassured that my dog was in excellent and loving hands with the groomer that was there. She was very supportive, kind and truly an angel. Ollie did a wonderful job and there were no hesitations that we will be coming back very soon for his next appointment. If you live near Fishkill, I truly recommend this local grooming salon. They also have babysitting for your fur baby and the place is very welcoming for them too (room to play, no cages). :)

First off, it's impossible to find someone to groom a cat in this area. We had a situation and desperately needed help with our long-haired Siberian. Unlike every other groomer we contacted, Furever Friends Family couldn't have been kinder, more generous, or more accommodating. They squeezed us in for a same-day appointment without hesitating. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely love animals. They took the time to understand my cats needs, her personality, and ensured a tailored grooming experience. My usually anxious feline felt at ease almost immediately (and seemed to like them more than me!) The grooming itself was top-notch. My cat came out looking like a show-stopper. Additionally, the space is spotless. You can tell cleanliness is a top priority! I can't recommend Furever Friends Family enough. He wiggles and wags upon entering and gives Anniel and her assistant kisses. That says it all in my book. Businesses like K-9 Clippers deserve to be shared and recognized - they are exceedingly rare in my experience - ergo I'm writing my first Yelp review. Anniel truly cares about a dog's "grooming experience." My dog is not easy - before bringing him to K-9, I had tried grooming him myself; by the time I brought my dog to Anniel, he was a matted mess. More importantly, he was traumatized from attempts to remove his mats myself. During, his first grooming, she called me and told me he was biting; we agreed the best course was to shave him. She expressed that she was worried I'd not come back (1st time client and I'd wanted to keep his coat long), but also said in good conscience, the best and least painful option for my dog was to shave him and start over. She said she feared that if she kept going with the de-matting, he would develop a hatred of grooming from which he might never recover. I was so impressed with her honesty. I gave her the go-ahead to shave him, and thanks to her, he's never been shaved again! :) I am so grateful, too, that she did not give up on him due to the biting (which would have been understandable). He has actually *improved* thanks to her patience and persistence - even I can brush him now without his biting me. He needed time to trust that pain would no longer come from brushing once he was no longer matted. He grew out beautifully, and he gets compliments everywhere he goes thanks to his weekly sessions with her! Anniel knows dogs: she owns them, shows them, and to my mind, truly loves them. I'm a dog-nerd: I love seeing who is on the table when I go to pick up my guy: a Bichon in full "poof"; a handsome Doodle is another regular; two classically-groomed Scotties and a handful of Shih Tzu-types always make me smile. Every dog looks marvelous. The environment is quiet and calm; it is always Anniel and her assistant. The grooming tables are up front and in plain view. Everything is always clean and fresh. Her pricing is very fair - she has a sliding scale of sorts based upon how frequently you bring your dog and the level of grooming they require. For instance, every 6 weeks or so, I'm charged for a full grooming; but in between, I'm charged much less for a bath and brush. She is not fast...but I don't want her to be. Haste makes waste. My guy comes out looking exactly the same every week - how she does that, I don't know! :) Some people don't like leaving their dog all day, and that is an understandable preference. However unlike some places where the length of stay negatively impacts the dog (and I've taken my dog to one of those prior to finding K-9), I've never detected this here: like I said - every week, he goes in happy and comes out happy. Meanwhile (knowing he's well cared for) I can get a few things done. If this is a deal-breaker for you, I'd still recommend contacting her to see whether in your case, the grooming can be made shorter because, honestly? It's the best grooming you'll find. Finally, Anniel as a person is a pleasure to deal with. She and her assistant are always sunny and upbeat - I've never caught them in a bad mood in all my visits. Two thumbs (and four paws!) up!

I watched and for an hour I did not see my dog. I called and was told by the woman, I was just about to call you, your dog did not pass the meet and greet. Their story was they put my dog in a crate so a new dog could enter and when they let my dog out he snapped at the new dog. All which was conveniently off camera. If this is all true why would they not call me right away? Why did they leave my dog in a crate for an hour? I was the one who called them. Horrible, my dog is now acting traumatized. I was very pleased with how gentle the groomer was and how beautifully he trimmed my two dogs and clipped their nails without any stories about how squirmy and impatient my boy, Oscar, was! My girl-Prudence-has a lame hind leg which hurts her if lifted or handled the wrong way. The groomer was so gentle with and loving toward her. The fee is reasonable and they accept check, credit or Zelle and of course, cash. The mobile grooming van is not massive and fit perfectly in my parking spot. I was surprised how quickly the work got done. I intend to call for my next appointment as soon as I am finished writing this review!!

Upon arrival a young woman comes out and states, "the vet did not show up today".... and then proceeded to add that "the vet in the Monroe location didnt show up that day either." So that was my first try, took day off of work, drove an hour to the facility, vet doesn't show up for work, customers get screwed, oh well. After leaving I found the customer service phone number in their website, attempted to call but guess what!? NO ANSWER AT ALL....10 MINUTES I WAITED FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER. So I learned on that day that this company has veterinarians that don't show up when they feel like it, a customer service department that DOESNT ANSWER the phone, and no accountability to the community. The ultimate "too good to be true" company in terms of pet care. Continuing on for the next few weeks I regularly called the location AS WELL AS the customer service phone number AND NOT ONE TIME IN 3 WEEKS DID ANYONE ANSWER! NOT ONCE, NO ONE, 0. And now to today and the latest round of comedy from this derelict organization. I am off of work tomorrow and planned on making a final attempt to bring my cat to their office to be vaccinated, but the best laid plans of mice and men! I checked their website to make sure they are open today and then I place the call, guess what!? Its 10:37am, hours state 10am-7pm...the answering machine picks up, the location is closed! Hilarious. The left hand doesnt speak to right at vetIQ that's for sure. Then I proceeded to attempt calling customer service again, guess what, NO ANSWER AFTER 5 MINUTES OF WAITING. Nothing at all, not even thank you for calling well be right with you...I mean absolutely nothing. So finally I decided to complain about the difficulty I am having through a "contact us" form submitted through their website. I GOT A RESPONSE TO THE CONTACT FORM! Customer service agent claims its also notmal for vets to just not show up. Agent also said that even though the website says they are open they are actually closed because THE VET DIDNT SHOW UP TODAY AND MOST LIKELY WONT SHOW UP TOMORROW EITHER! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE THIS PLACE IS!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND EMPLOY THE SERVICES OF A REAL VET THAT CARES ABOUT THE PETS IN THEIR COMMUNITY, THIS COMPANY SHOULD SHUT ITS DOORS FOR GOOD. Unprofessional, unreliable, untrustworthy vets, incapable customer service, and generally a complete embarrasment of a circus.
