They always maintain a clean and safe environment and give the pups a wonderful day. They keep all the pups safe and sound. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone that has a pooch. REGARDING RESPONSE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: (attached to this…read moreresponse in photos) the owner's response COMPLETE AND UTTER BS!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER worked at a kennel and would NEVER apply or recommend anyone to apply at this place. I was NOT YELLING or SCREAMING. As I said in my review, it was the owner that was screaming at the dogs in the back. The police were NEVER involved. I walked out on my appointment day without ever speaking to anyone because they did not respond when I rang the bell. And there was no one at the front desk. I am disgusted that this person is trying to cover up a bad review with a lie!!!!! This is just additional evidence that this is an unethical & non trustworthy business. My previous review is 100% accurate and truthful! If I could have given negative stars I would have. In addition.... Why doesn't the owner explain how they LOST A DOG THAT WAS IN THEIR CARE ?????????? AGAIN..... BEWARE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TAKING YOUR PET HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! (SEE PIC OF MISSING DOG BELOW) IN ADDITION..... I AM ANTICIPATING THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED UP WITH MORE LIES FROM OWNER. I AM DONE RESPONDING TO HIS NONSENSE. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING YOUR PET HERE!!!!!

If you're new to the area and looking for a safe, loving place to board your dog or drop them off…read morefor daycare--or if you've lived here for a while and are just searching for a spot you can truly trust--Just Like Home for Paws is it. I've been bringing my dog here for over three years, and they feel like family. From day one, I've had complete trust in them when it comes to my dog's health, safety, and happiness. The team is warm, attentive, and clearly loves every single pup that walks through the door. One of my favorite parts? Every single time we're in the car heading there, my dog knows exactly where we're going and starts getting so excited. Tail wagging, nose to the window--it's clear how much he loves it there. I can't say enough good things about this place. It gives me total peace of mind knowing my dog is being cared for like one of their own. If you're considering doggy daycare or boarding, I highly recommend Just Like Home for Paws. They're everything you could want in a second home for your dog.

I am so grateful we found Just Like Home 4 Paws! After a bad experience with a previous facility, I…read morewas on the hunt for a place my dog would feel safe and happy. The facility is welcoming, cozy and clean. I love that it's female owned and family operated! I was very anxious about boarding Sherlock over Christmas because he suffers separation anxiety, but after seeing the daily photos and videos my mind was completely put at ease. Sherlock looked like he was having a great time and it was clear he was being well cared for and getting lots of love & attention! Now I can go on vacation with no worries knowing that Sherlock is in great hands. He now goes to doggie day care weekly. And even though it's only been couple weeks, I can already see an improvement in his separation anxiety. I would highly recommend JLH4P to anyone looking for doggie daycare/boarding!

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

They watch after our 3 cats when we are not in town and they never fail to give us daily updates on the services they provided, pictures of the cats and any concerns that have come up. Twice Simply Pets has really gone above and beyond for us - once when I had a family emergency and they did everything they could to fit us in last minute. More recently we were out of the country when our furnace gave out and Kelsie & Josie did everything from turning on our space heaters to finding alternate housing (in case the furnace couldn't be repaired soon). They kept us informed every step of the way and what's more important, did everything to keep our cats safe and comfortable. I feel very comfortable having the staff at Simply Pets watch our cats - from scheduling, to billing to the way they interact with pets, you simply can't ask for more.
