The "groomer" Faith, and she's the grooming manager in the Centerton Rd location, injured my sweet girl's leg!!! I went in for a simple nail trim. I was hesitant because the girl looked like the same one that I had to tell her before, don't twist her leg like that I see it hurts her! She said this is how it's done! Well it was her with different hair color. My dog is limping terribly by the time we got home and today I had to medicate her! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use this person. She shouldn't be trusted with our fur babies and this was in front of me! She even said to my girl, oh am I bending your leg, when my pup kept flinching, then she said "I guess I should stop"! It's almost like she was purposely doing this since I said something last time. She's been reported to corporate! If I can get a picture of her I will. read more

The order still would not go through, so after being jerked around more than once, checked out the competition, Petco. I was able to place my order without any fuss and DoorDash delivered it within less than two and a half hours. The Salon service ruined my Rough Collie's beautiful mane,which makes Collies very distinctive. They shaved a 5 inch wide area all the way around his neck and a huge area down his side and front.The manager insisted that this is the proper procedure. We have brought our dogs there for years,and this has never been done in the past.My wife did not authorize what they did. She was told a few spots needed to be shaved and she insisted that they take off as little as possible. Just imagine a photo of Lassie with his mane removed. I called this store to ask if I could get my dogs'nails trimmed. I was told I did not need an appointment and that I could stop in. This morning I called again to ensure that I did not need an appointment. The woman who answered said I could come over at any time. When I arrived with my 2 dogs, I was asked for my phone number. Then I was asked if I had been to Petsmart before with these 2 dogs. I said no. She then requested their rabies certificates. I of course did not have them since no one told me to bring them. The vets office was closed and I could not ask them to send it over. After inquiring twice about this service prior to arriving I was very annoyed that no one would have mentioned the need for the rabies cert over the phone. This should be protocol when providing information to potential clients. read more

Disappointed. Been trying to keep a couple snails in my goldfish aquarium and half the ones I buy from here are either already dead or die after a day. Longest I've had them live was 2 months. I've asked all the people from petsmart how to keep them alive and they all tell me they have trouble keeping theirs alive also. But I continue to drive 20-25 minutes to petsmart after each one dies to replace it. Out of my own pocket. Frustrating. read more

They've the worst customer service. I went with my kids to get goldfish and we stood there for good 10-15 minutes without anyone offering to help us. This one employee saw us but didn't even acknowledge us & had the courtesy to say that I'd right with you. So my wife went to the front and asked one of the cashiers if there's anyone who could help us get the goldfish. She communicated with someone through her theatero device and told us that someone would be right there to help us. So we are waiting near the aquariums and the same employee who ignored us first did the same thing and helped the person who came way after us. I never had such a bad experience at Petsmart. We just moved to Mount Laurel and that was our first time going to that store and most likely our last time. read more

I find the products to be overpriced but the grooming and training services to be extremely reasonable as far as price goes. This is not a good place to go if you know what you want to buy, but if you have a pet problem and need a solution or want to try a new product, the staff is very knowledgeable and will help you. We took one of our dogs here for grooming. They were ready and finished when they said they would be and were extremely friendly. This review is based on the AMAZING customer service I received tonight shopping at PetSmart from the associate Caitlin. That may not be spelled correctly. But she overheard me saying my dog had an allergy to chicken, so she helped me scan the shelves and find a food with no chicken! Then she told me about price match, where if you find the product cheaper anywhere else online, they will match it! So later when I am done my shopping I am waiting in line, and Caitlin opens up a second register so I get to receive MORE great service at the register! Caitlin asked if I found the products cheaper online but I didn't get the chance to look, so she looked up the products for me and saved me nearly $10! I told her she should be employee of the month. This review is for Christina in the grooming department. I have a 9 month old German Shepherd who is really scared of getting his nails trimmed from a past experience he had at our vet. Christina was absolutely amazing with him and I will definitely be bringing him back. When I brought him in she asked if I wanted her to grind his nails to make them smooth and I basically told her to just do what she could do with what he would let her. She told me to walk around and come back in like 10-15 minutes. As I was walking around I would check in the window to see how he was doing. She had one of the others girls petting him to try and keep him distracted. As I was walking up to go get him in the window I see her brushing his fur and petting him. When she was finished I asked how he did and she laughed and said she was surprised that he was better when she was filing the nails than the actual clipping part. She was so good with him and was letting him give her kisses and telling him how he was a good boy and did such a good job. I am really appreciative that she took the time to get him to trust her and she was so sweet and gentle with him. Extremely happy with my visit here! read more

Went here with the husband with our two dogs. Our Alaskan Malamute and our pomchi. We came to get more diapers for our Malamute and got some treats. We also looked at the beds for our Malamute and found one that we liked that we thought would be perfect for our malamute puppy which obviously would grow into it since he will get big once he is gets older. As soon as we were about to pay for the bed and other stuff, one of the trainers (older lady in her 40's or 50's stopped to see our dogs. She asked my husband who we were getting the bed for (which I didn't think was any of her business). My husband told her for the malamute. She told my husband make sure if you get that bed you watch him because he will make the bed his chew toy. (Ok, I already knew that. I was going to watch him anyways. ) Then she ask my husband are you really going to pay 70 dollars to make that his chew toy? (Like really lady. It's none of your business what we buy our dog.) She tells my husband she would never pay 70 dollars for a bed that her dog may chew and that my husband shouldn't buy a bed for him until he is older. Ok lady that your opinion. Leave your comment to yourself and stop worrying about what we are buying for our dogs. You don't know us. Is this what petsmart does is get into people's business on what they are buying for their dogs and then tells them not to buy it? Then second she is a dog trainer and tells us to spend 129 or whatever the price is for her training class. Lol you want me to pay you that much just so that you can tell me how to train my dog and show me how to do it when really you're not the one that's going to be training him? And I am because I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen. She is going to tell us how to train him and she will give you homework and that homework will consist of yourself training your dog and then bringing him back to see what the process of yourself training your dog is. Lol no thanks. I rater train my own dog for that price. I'm not paying you to just tell me how to train my dog. I'll take him to a dog training camp where they actually take your dog and train them themselves. And then they bring your dog back to you trained. Really pleased with the grooming services at a PetSmart Mt Laurel. I have a 10 month old shichon (shih tzu/ bichon frise). We always go to Tia and she is great. She is very friendly and really listens to what we want. Herbie always comes out looking great! Very even cut and not too short on the face. He's a small guy and his hair cut typically takes 3-4 hours. They usually call when he's done but occasionally I have to call because it's been a few hours and then they tell me he is ready, which is why I took off one star. My review isn't about PetSmart per say, but the association they allow to peddle animals to the public.In short, My review is about Burlington County Animal Alliance that organizes events in front of this store. DO NOT get an animal from these people. Our family was swindled out of a lot of money just for wanting to rescue and get a family dog. Here are the issues we experienced. 1.This organization does not have an actual facility to "rescue" dogs. What they do is broker out foster homes some of which are out of state. Then the "staff" meets in a parking lot outside the Cracker Barrel to exchange animals. They do not tell you of a lack of facility until its time to pick up your animal. 2. They advertised that the dog was "House trained * Spayed/Neutered * Current on vaccinations." When we received the dog's paperwork, the dog was NOT spayed/Neutered nor was it current on its shots. Mind you, it could be because the dog was young, but they said they would provide a certificate for these services. According to the animals birthday, the dog was actually behind in shots. Plus the one shot that it did receive was done incorrectly leaving a cyst like feature on its back that needs to be monitored. No certificate was provided. Additionally, requesting reimbursement for the behind shots is met with scathing belligerence. 3. Although they advertise the "adoption donation" to rescue a dog was $350, on another site it listed a price between $125 - $150. We were told that our dog would be $350 because of age. (5 months). Dogs, come AS IS. Meaning, if they have medical issues, you are on the hook for it. 4. Although we are in NJ, the dog's vet records were North Carolina/South Carolina. It was explained to us that animals are trucked up and down Route 95 and that the parking lot outside the Crackel Barrel is a good drop off point for animals. 5. The dog also had *** marks on the bottom of its neck from other dogs, and a giardia infection that increased the vet bills to treat. 6. We tried to negotiate some of the costs for services not provided, such as the dog not being up to date on shots and too young to be spayed and or neutered. We were threatened to have our family dog removed from us twice. Notwithstanding toys and accessories, in order for us to rescue a dog, it cost us over $630.00. We could have bought a pure bred for that amount of money. 7. We were told that heartworm medication would be given to us for free, but we received nothing. When asked, again we are met with scathing indignation and a threat to have our dog taken away.If you want to truly rescue a dog, do NOT get swindled by these people. This association berated me in front of customers and finally had to walk away from the abusive behavior. read more

This is a very nice place but they seem severely understaffed. Whenever i come in to purchase mealworms for my bearded dragon no one is ever and i mean EVER at the section where they sell fish and worm supply. Every time i come in i end up waiting 10+ minutes to just get a package of worms that can be easily accessed by walking into the fridge. read more

We took my dog there to get her nails clipped and the woman who was doing our dogs nails did fine, but we saw a beautiful male husky, and the woman ( looks from asian decent ) who was doing the husky's nails was being very aggressive. She was pulling at her leash to the point where the collar was very tight around the husky's neck, and when she finally picked him up she dropped him onto the table and grabbed his back legs and flipped him around. Then when she put on the neck collar on the table the husky was very scared and resisting, and instead of being patient with the husky she grabbed the neck collar and brought up the dogs head and put him into it. I understand I am not a professional but I know that the other groomers around this women were being no where near as aggressive, and the husky was just scared that it's owner was not there to comfort him. read more

Nice to see that a big chain store values the individual customers. As with most pet stores, they allow animals but we typically don't bring them there due to the large amount of inattentive traffic in the plaza. There are two of these sites in the area. We were very nervous because Ginger is a 12 year-old moody Llasa Poo and has only had one groomer her entire life, who was out on leave. We were very fortunate that we brought her to Jenny. She was very patient and caring with Ginger. Most important, she assessed Ginger's needs and evaluated the best course of action for a stress-free grooming.
