This is my backup pet food store, as I don't think that they ought to be in the cruel business of attempting to sell live pets. Also, there are other reasons why this corporate store displeases me: 1) This store is wasting precious ground water by allowing the toilet in the men's restroom to continually leak. I've previously reported this issue, and the problem persists. 2) Employees need to more often empty the trash can located at the front entrance. It's not sanitary to have garbage overflowing out of the receptacle. I informed an employee, and no action was taken to correct the issue. 3) If a manufacturer's coupon is attached to a product's packaging and for sale in the store, that coupon should still be honored whether or not it has expired. I've consistently found Hollywood Feed to be much more responsive to their customers, so they remain my primary source for my pets' supplies. So, two-and-a-half stars, rounded down to two stars for failing to show signs of improvement over the past year or so. read more

This one is one of my favorites because they have a good selection of fish. However, mine always seemed to die. I switched to a local fish store and I had more luck. My wife and I will never use this store again to board our dog Ollie. We have boarded our Ollie for many years here with no problems before. We made the reservation over a month ago for the Memorial weekend. Brandon called my wife and said they canceled the reservation due to a question about Ollie's vaccinations. He called our veterinarian to find out he was up to date and did not need any updates because of his age-17 years and renal disease. We then called our veterinarian for boarding and they accommodated us. read more

The sales associate/ trainer Teresa is very rude. Training for Diversity and Inclusion is definitely needed for Ms. Teresa! I called earlier about needing a receipt for a return the associate stated over the phone I didn't need one if I was a member( which I am). I came in to return an item she got an attitude about me not having the receipt I stated when I called the associate informed me I didn't need it, she said yea I am who answered the phone,but I thought you did, I'm training someone. I just stated okay and let her continue. I left and came back to return another item this time having the receipt because it was electronic. She asked how long I had had it I told her less than 24hrs (which the receipt indicates). She stated well I mean why are you even returning it? She went and had it checked by management but kept attempting to argue with me I asked for someone else to assist me. I promised the manager that took over this location was down the street from me, but I'd NEVER return! Diversity and Inclusion training is highly suggested because I watched Ms. Teresa interact with other customers in a proper manner, but not me. I've VERY disappointed! I suggest she be retrained and removed from the counter and even as someone who's training another employee. read more

My dog came home with fleas after being seen here. He never gets exposed to other animals and rarely spends time outside. We took him to get his nails clipped and within a day or two he began itching and scratching. We searched him and found fleas. read more

Petsmart is the only pet store location in the area, so I always go here. I am always able to go right in and find what I need for my pets and the prices are good. I look for sales, l look for extra special buys and stuff that might be on clearance. Since this is the only pet store in the area I will continue shopping here because it's close and convenient. read more

She stated to quote "It's not the groomers fault if the dog likes to jump off the table and commit suicide", "It is the pet owner fault for not training the dog". My dog and I had a pleasant experience at the winchester Petsmart . I was nervous because I am currently fostering a dog whose history I do not know. I didn't know how he would respond My dog has had a difficult transition from a life on the streets to a kill shelter to now a home. I would like to give him the best chance to thrive. I took him to the groomers and Bailey was the groomer. She was able to win his trust and bathed and even trimmed his sharp nails. I had low expectations because of my dog's history but was surprised he was able to cooperate. She was patient and was gentle to a stressed dog. She kept my dog at ease and made slow soft gestures toward him. The staff there were friendly and encouraging. They worked with my dog despite his barking. Give them a try. I brought my dog to the groomer for a simple nail clipping. She put my dog on the table and a few moments later I watched in horror as my dog fell off the platform and was hanging by her neck, all 60 pounds of her fell very hard. The woman then proceeded up pull her back up 5 seconds later by her front legs from the opposite side of the table! I stood in shock across the room and watched in horror. I cannot believe professionals would allow such treatment. Needless to say, I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. read more

I just moved from New York to Memphis and this location is closer to my new home, so I decided to try them out. I brought my teacup Maltipoo Braxton for grooming, and from the point that I entered the store to the point that I left, the entire store was so friendly and hospitable. Not the "I get paid to be friendly", but they genuinely were helpful. The girls in grooming took an extreme liking to my baby boy and he was so clean and fluffy when he left. The cashiers were helpful and got me through the checkout process quickly and even a manager stopped and came to acknowledge my little puppy man! If I could give the grooming and the entire store more than 5 stars I would! I love this location. read more

I have been bringing my 3 year old Maltese here since a pup. We have gone through a few groomers because they have gone on to other companies. But, I always ask for the best one and have found Lindsey. She has been great and reliable. Beau loves her and so do I. I just hope she sticks around. This location is your typical PetSmart. They have an adoption area, grooming center, training center and Banfield Pet Hospital which has full-service vet care. I've been to this location on several occasions. Customer service has always been great and they carry the brand of food my cats eat. So it is my go to location. No complaints here! read more

I can't speak for the rest of the store, but the aquatic pets section is awful. The tanks were dirty and there were multiple dead fish in almost every one. I was there for about 5 minutes before turning around and walking out. There is no way I would put a fish from this store into my tank. Whoever is running this section of the store needs to be fired. The fish here obviously get the bare minimum of care, if that. Skip this place altogether. read more

Very upsetting. Took my baby Ace to get a full groom and they called back saying they could not do it bc he was afraid of the clippers and they could not do anything about it. This is suppose to be a pet grooming place so why not do what it takes to groom a pet? Incompetent groomers. My dog never has a fresh "just washed" smell when he leaves there and they don't know how to put a collar on properly. So when you go there, be sure to check and make sure it's tight enough because they cannot be trusted to do so themselves. When I called to let them know that my dog was able to get loose the manager of the grooming salon insisted that they put it on the same way they took it off. When that logic fell apart she didn't have much to say so she transfer me to her EMPLOYEE! Then that employee goes against what her manager says by saying it's up to me to inspect that it's on properly. So either it's up to me to inspect or you all put it on exactly how I brought him in... Which one is it? Not worth the money, even though they are cheaper than most. You get what you pay for... read more

My dog had been going here to be groomed for 4 years, I bought all my Nutro food, treats, and supplies here and was a very good and loyal customer. The last time that I took my baby here I was charged 59.00 for a cut and I always tip as well. When we got home and for the next few days he scratched himself to the point of hot spots, had bumps under his neck, got diarrhea and was miserable. I had to leave work to take him to the vet who said it was an allergic reaction and it cost me 151.00 for steroid shot, creams, and medication. In all, this experience cost me over 250.00 and PetSmart manager offered me a 25% discount on my NEXT grooming!!! Wow, how generous!! I thinks not!! My dog will not go back! read more
