I'll give them one star, only because the staff in the back were so kind and concerned. As for the two people at reception (Shannon and Ladonna) & Dr. Lebel, they couldn't have cared less. I scheduled a spay a month ago & I've spoken to their staff about 2 to 3 times before the appointment. They all told me to come between 7am to 8am. Apparently, the time I was told was inaccurate. I would not find this out until after they made me and my baby girl wait outside, in almost 90 degree weather, without acknowledging us. They literally continued on as if we were nothing but air. Once inside, I stated how upset I was. Only to be met with "The times are on the door" (regardless of what I was told by staff) & "Are you going to get services done today or not?" I could see not letting us in until you opened but not even speaking through the door? And once I was inside, why not just say "I'm so sorry for the miscommunication"? This could've been handled differently. As for Dr. Lebel, he didn't even try to rectify the situation at all. He didn't even speaking to me after staff had made him aware of the situation. Shannon and Ladonna were very nice to the clients that I seen them interact with this morning. Just not me. Then again, I am not the same race as those clients either. I took my girlfriend's dog here last month for a check up the staff at Family Veterinary Practice Was very friendly and helpful when it came to processing our paperwork and getting me & Sophie settled into one of the Dr. rooms. Then the nurse came into our room checked Sophie's weight blood work & physical health. After a traumatic episode we had with her a previous night. Sophie got a clean bill of health after what she swallowed over the weekend was out of her system & she is been healthy and happy ever since. Dr. Lebel staff has been helpful & we would love to thank them & we will be returning with our other dogs when it's their time to get a check up. I would also like to say thank you Dr. Lebel for being such an awesome vet to my gf & her families pet. I'll be looking to taking my next puppy there for Veterinary procedures. read more

I called for an appointment as my dog suddenly showed signs of pain and discomfort when getting up and down. I was worked in to see Dr. Lebel that same day. Staff was very attentive and wait period was less than 5 min. Dr Lebel and staff showed compassion and gentleness with my pet. Tests were done, medication prescribed and care instructions given. I was informed that there was 24 hr on call should I need assistance after hours. Dr. Lebel demonstrated professionalism and knowledge. I was given as much time as needed for my questions regarding care and treatment. Three days later my dog is showing great improvement. read more

I had such great hopes for this grooming service based outside of family Veterinary practice. However, I was sadly disappointed today. I expected to get my dog groomed by Kendra;, however, another young lady took the charge of my dog. I got my dog back in a timely fashion and on the face of it his car was good; however, I was working and ignored my dog, but found the the bandana was tied so tightly around his neck that it left an indentation. This has put me off from ever trusting this groomer again all this facility. UPDATE: Not only did the groomer tie the bandaner so tight my dog's neck that it indented its neck, but also she cit my dog and did not disclose the injury! What a piece of shit! I have employed Family Veterinarian for 2 different dogs. I went in yesterday, July 22, 2019, with an older Rescued Miniature Schnauzer. I made an appointment with Dr. Lebel. My experience with Dr. Lebel and his assistant, Shannon, was excellent and superb. (My Shih Tzu previously had seen an older Veterinarian who is now retired, Dr. Bondurant.) I believe perhaps a negative review from a gentleman is referring to Dr. Bondurant, not any of current Veterinarians. Dr. Lebel was a pleasant wonderful Veterinarian. I went to him because he was highly recommended by a friend who has been a client of Dr. Lebel for years. My compassionate Veterinarian from another clinic retired and moved out of state. I finally found a Veterinarian who also loves animals and is compassionate, Dr. Lebel. My Mini Schnauzer was injured from being tossed out a window by a disgruntled breeder. Dr. Lebel was able to diagnose why he is doing much worse. I have taken him to several Veterinarians, but left without answers. Dr. Lebel was able to make a diagnosis from an exam, taking a history, and a simple inexpensive diagnostic test. Dr. Lebel is of the school of Veterinarians who has a lot of diagnostic information in his brain. There was no running up a huge bill with unnecessary tests. He was able to calm my terrified dog who was in pain by a gentle touch and voice. He is the ONLY Veterinarian who examined my frightened dog without using a muzzle. Shannon, his assistant, won my dog's heart. I have never seen my sick dog so happy as he was with Shannon. I encourage whoever needs a good Veterinarian that actually cares about your pet to visit Family Veterinarian. Dr. Lebel did not judge me at all because I rely on Social Security. He did everything possible to keep the bill within my ability to pay. I definitely appreciate not being subjected to a battery of expensive tests. I was actually nervous about going. I thought what if it's a ridiculous price? What if the Veterinarian just rushes through and doesn't even listen? What if the staff is rude and inpatient? I'm happy to report that none of this occurred. I especially was impressed with Dr. Lebel, Shannon, John, and Dr. K. My dog might actually live. I'm grateful for an excellent group of Veterinarians. I have heard that Dr. K and Dr. Howell are also wonderful. So if your pet is sick and your regular Veterinarian is off, no problem because ALL 3 Veterinarians are fabulous. read more

I'm sooo upset. I want even give a rating because it was a horrible experience. The first and last time I will board my dog. They made the mistake of showing me her kennel when I dropped her off. I called Monday on our way in before 5:30 to pick her up and the system rolled over and no answer. So she had to stay another night. 5 nights while we were out of town. I went in to the front desk to pay and pick up then I went straight to the back to get her she was in the kennel with dried poop and smelled horrible. As we know poop doesn't dry over night. Her bed I brought wasn't in the kennel they told me when I dropped it off if she messes it up they want wash well it was in the dryer and they destroyed it. When we got her home I had to take her in and give her a bath. She ate 2 bowls of food after telling me she had ate good while there. She couldn't stop drinking water. She's finally home resting.. Just a note to everyone if you would go to the back where they are kept you would NEVER take your pets back. read more

So I'm on my way to pick up an auto part when I find a dog on the side of the road that looks like he had been hit buy a car. I picked him up he's bleeding and can't stand up, I put him in my jeep and take him to the first vet on my GPS. I go into Family Veterinary Practice its about 1030am on Thursday morning its not busy, I say I have a dog in my jeep that was hit buy a car the lady at the desk gave me a funny look and said wait here let me go ask the vet, I can hear her talking to what I'm guessing is the vet its an older man he tells her to tell me to go down the street to another vet. Seriously I have a dog that needs help and you are going to turn me away!!! What!! So I would not recommend This vet. Any animal lover know you don't turn an injured or sick animal away. We LOVE family veterinary. Dr. Lebel is AWESOME and takes great care of both our cats. He made sure we had his personal cell phone number when we were experiencing issues with one of our babies. The front desk staff is always pleasant and we have been coming here for a few years now. Yes, it does smell...but honestly people. It's a building full of pets that do their business whenever they please. If a smell free office is what you are looking for in a vet, I worry for your pets! If you're looking for quality, knowledgeable, caring, invested people to take care of your littles, this is the place to go. read more

worst clinic I have ever stepped foot in. it's filthy, smells awful and the boarding facility is like a dog concentration camp. the veterinarian is very condescending and the staff (apart from the receptionist) are rude. when they actually are being nice, it feels fake and forced. it's way over priced for the quality of service, not to mention the veterinary procedures and protocol are questionable. I have no idea how this place manages to stay in business. read more
