Dr Pope has always gone above and beyond. His staff from technician to receptionist is always very friendly and always professional. I called on Saturday with a potbelly pig emergency. I could not get to the hospital before they closed. Dr Pope agreed to see us anyway. X-rays revealed the pig had ingested gravel. After treating Hitchcock in the hospital, he sent us home with additional medication, detailed care instructions and his number to call with an update in the morning. Before I could call Dr Pope Sunday morning, he called me to ask about Hitchcock. Hitch's condition had improved greatly, so we agreed to delay surgery, continue with high fiber food, lots of exercise and hope things would start to pass. We kept in touch throughout the day and "things" did begin passing. Dr Pope checked Hitch's condition again Monday. Good news--some of the gravel is working its way through. I highly recommend Dr Pope and his staff without reservation. Even after hours with hours of treatments ahead of him, he not only took the time to see us, but talked to us and listened to get an understanding of what may have made Hitch sick. Dr. Pope and his staff all clearly care very much about animals and Dr. Pope also understands and frequently treats small mammals, which is hard to find. My partner and I are very comforted in the knowledge that our three fancy rats are in good hands. Our older boy has been having long-term struggles with respiratory issues, including a very rapid recent decline in health that Dr. Pope has gone out of his way to help in managing, during which time he took him on short notice and helped us to ensure we got him set up with a home kit to provide him the best care we can. I definitely recommend this team. The pet mom experience at All Creatures was amazing as always. I was greeted by a professional and kind receptionist. She gave me an updated estimate for my dogs lipoma excision surgery. I waited a short period of time until my pet was retrieved by staff. My rescue is jittery around strangers and they have this noted in her medical records so they approach her with grace and compassion. The Veternarian is knowledge do does impeccable work. I always receive an update via phone and they give me plenty of notice and a time to pick up my fur baby. I receive a call the next day from them to check on my pet. They also let me know how to reach them after hours for any emergencies. I am very happy with All Crratures and I highly recommend this office. read more

Since moving to Memphis and finally finding Dr. Pope and his staff in Collerville, I have finally found the perfect place to bring my pets. Dr. Pope's experience is incredible. Dr. Pope and the staff at All Creatures were so caring and helpful when my two gerbils had a bloody altercation. They allowed me to drop my boys off and gave them the kindest care as I was in a panic over the event. Dr. Pope is definitely one of the beat in his field. I was a walk in so I was there a few hours, so quiet a wait, but they did manage to squeeze me in and take a look at my bunny. Dr. Pope examined my bun and asked what was going on with him. After that he explained my options and asked me what route I wanted to take. He is currently being treated. they are alway great at understanding and taking care of my guinea pig. Mocha has been going there for years. mostly for nail trims but they also check a few things while he's there. Apparently my spoiled piggy is in great shape. They told me to keep doing what I'm doing. he gets lettuce and carrots 2 times a day. I've never had any health issues so far. He made time the very next morning to get her checked out and gave me detailed directions on how to feed her and monitor her weight & behavior the rest of the week.
