Wow I've been ordering thru Chewy when they offer me a $30 egift with a $100 purchase but I haven't gotten one lately and I was running low on my cat food. It's been quite sometime since I've been inside a PetSmart and I still had $2 in rewards BUT my goodness the prices have went up up up since my last visit. Thanks to the current administration I'm sure. They also look like they want you to move to same day delivery bc they were offering several "deals" for that.... they also had 10x the points in any dry cat food over 10lbs so I got a 22lb but I don't think I got the points? I also got 4 bags of friskies treats, 17 cans of fancy feast, 15 cans of friskies, and a 12 can box of friskies variety. My total was $77! Sticker shock to say the least. The cashier wasn't the friendliest even though I was checking out at 8:15 pm and they don't close until 9:00 pm. I sure hope Chewy sends me a deal before I run out again. read more

I recently lost my dog after 11 years, and PetSmart in Lawrenceville was amazing. They overwhelmed us w their kindness and offered support in more ways than I could have imagined. Thanks to the groomers, store staff, and manager who helped us through a tough situation. We miss our Belle but able to say goodbye to her and help her cross over into a better place. read more

It was the absolute worst grooming experience ever. I took my bichon in for a full groom. He was not matted, the person upfront checked and confirmed that. We even spent time picking out the length, #5. I even gave her a picture. When I got back my puppy was shaved except for the ears, face, and tail. Unrecognizable. I honestly think they started off with the wrong blade and had to shave him because of it. Honesty would be nice next time. This was at 6 pm, maybe the later shift is rushed or tired. Horrible service! My dog was locked up in a cage for 6 hours. I called three hours after I dropped my dog off to get groomed, and they said that it would be another hour, so they would call me when they finished. They never called me to let me know my pup was done. their excuse was that the girl I talked to at first went off shift and they had bad communication skills. I will never bring my dog back here and anybody that does should expected to be let down. Find a groomer where your dog can play after it's grooming and can play while waiting to be picked up. read more

I took my pup in this afternoon, I booked in the afternoon and had a 2 hr window before we showed up, 3:30 was the only time available today. If I waited until tomorrow we would have needed to pay the addl $5 weekend fee which is ridiculous. I could spend $5 at a thrift store on a treasure. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely Emily, she use to be our groomer and now is the asst mgr. Our pup was extremely happy to see her as I. We proceeded to the grooming check-in and I was appalled by how filthy it was and smelly- yuck, I was Leary to leave my pup there. It seemed busy but it really wasn't. Our pup had anxiety and I did too. We showed our updated vaccination paperwork. Had booked online and answered questions, it was quick check in. The entire time I wanted to take my pup and run. But we needed the grooming. When I left I caught up with Emily and let her know the condition of the place and she said she would look into it and it was unacceptable. We had picked the $33 pkg which included the anal gland thing, it was part of the pkg I selected. After 1.5 hrs I showed up to pick up pup and he wasn't ready, I was asked if I wanted to pre-pay I said sure, and asked if the anal gland procedure was done and the girl said no, I said its part of the pkg I selected. She stated I needed to have asked for it because it's not included and I should have said something during check in. What?!?! It's PART OF THE PACKAGE. The girl said she would make a notation and they would not do it. The asst mgr, Emily was called she said no, since Covid they don't do it unless asked. She sensed my frustration with the entire visit and waved the grooming fee. I took my pup wet and all because at this point we were going to run out of the place. I didn't leave a tip or say thank you. We are home now and in retrospect we will never go back. I took a pic, they had cleaned up a bit but it was still dirty. read more

BEWARE These people will drug your dog without your permission or knowledge. I picked up my dog after a grooming and she was extremely drugged. I understand that dogs can get anxious during grooming but they nearly over dosed my pet! (this is not her first time at the groomer). After coming home she slept the entire day only getting up once to drink water. It was very apparent that something was not right. The people at this establishment will eventually kill an animal by overdose if they haven't already. Don't bring your fur babies here!!!!! read more

My favorite location by far to take my big boy Zeus (who is a rare breed called a borzoi) too. Both Emily, and Lexi are the best groomers there whoo love Zeus and take care of him. He Keats is super happy to be there and see them. He's usually very shy and takes him a bit to warm up to or trust someone but he definitely loves this place. I will keep coming back here even though I moved further away, it's worth it to mee. I tried taking him to another pets smart closer to my new home and never again. He didn't do well with thhe people there and was very unhappy. So I will forevEr continue to take him to Emily at the Lawrenceville location. read more

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about my service. I feel like my Chihuahua wasn't given the best treatment. Her service was at 1pm, and she wasn't available for pick up till almost 5pm. And I had to be the one to call the store to check up on her, because I became concerned. The service ticket said the service only took "60 minutes" so why did they keep her for an extra 2 &1/2 hours? When I got her back I noticed she was very lethargic, and behaving very tired. I believe they sedated her, without telling me. And were waiting for her to liven up or something before I came to get her. I understand that a grooming visit can take a lot out of an elderly (12yrs) dog, and they can become tired after, but this was beyond that. She didn't want to move. And she slept for the rest of the day. She only got up once to drink a buch of water. If I had known they needed to sedate my dog cuz she was behaving anxious, or aggressive, I would've been ok with that, and her behavior would've been much less concerning after I took her home. But I was never told. I've seen my dog sedated before, after she got teeth surgery, so I have a reference to what that looks like. Idk it's just very unsettling that I wasn't told my baby was given drugs for a grooming appointment. And once I got her, I asked how she behaved during the appt, because that's important to me, and the girl who groomed my pet said she was good. So. Why lie? I guess. Idk. Maybe it was just this specific groomer, her vibe seemed off when I first arrived, and when I came to pick up my dog. Not that she had bad intentions, maybe she just didn't wanna deal with a difficult (small) dog that day. But if the groomers here are gonna sedate our pets to complete a service. PLEASE LET THE PET OWNERS KNOW. On a good note, I've never seen my pets nails as short as they are and I think that's provided a lot of relief on her paws. I'm a little skeptical if the groomer nipped her quick or not, they might've. I kno my pet doesn't like her nails trimmed. But Imma choose to give benefit of the doubt on that one. I'll probs return, but will request a different groomer next time. (Btw- this isn't the first time I've been to this location an my dog has never behaved like that, so I really think i just choose the wrong person for my service unfortunately. I have been bringing my dogs to the Lawrenceville PetSmart Groom for years and they always, so good with all three off my dogs. The girls that has done my dogs, for years are so sweet, kind and has a heart as gold. You couldn't ask for any nicer people with a good heart to do my dogs then the girls at this PetSmart in Lawrenceville. I took my dog for her standard grooming appointment today. I paid for a #7 cut, furminator, shampoo, conditioner, ears cleaned and nails "trimmed". Look at the pics of her nails below and tell me if they look trimmed. They were definitely cut but NOT trimmed. They are so jagged and chipped. It looks like they used a butter knife for the job! I paid, got my dog and thats when i saw her nails. I asked Becky, the girl that groomed her, if she could trim her nails. She says she did. I told her I was not happy with it and asked why they looked broken and rough if they were trimmed. She gives me a blank stare and then says I need to pay for a grinding if I want them fixed. I told her I have been coming here for 2 years and her nails have never looked like this and I always get the same package. She looks up my account and says yes thats right but thats what u get for a trim job. At this point, not getting in a debate with her and get my pressure on this fine Sunday morning. I told her I would fix them myself and we would never be back. I must mention that until this summer, my dog had only been groomed by Dana at this location. When Dana left, others started doing her grooming. The last 2 grooms were fine. This 1 was hell! Plus they have almost a whole new staff of people, at least people i have never seen in grooming. The 3 that i interacted with on this visit barely made eye contact and seemed like they had some place better to be...maybe they missed their Sunday service spirit, I don't know. Four stars. I frequently come to petsmart to spoil my baby. He gets groomed and I notice that some of the people that groom are rude. It seems like the don't want to do the job. Which makes me sad because who wouldn't love to be around animals all day! But the employees at the actual store are very sweet and caring! Especially the cashiers :) the store is filled with so many goodies. They all have the pet hospital there which makes it convenient for me. Over all I love this location, just sometimes the grooming is a little off. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because I brought my dogs to get groomed on a Saturday. Maria did my male and another employee did my female. My females hair was barely looked cut or shaped. Her ear hair hadn't been touched. So I had to call back and let them know I wasn't satisfied with one of the hair cuts. They told me to bring her back and they could fix the hair cut. I appreciated them working with me to fix the issue but with the schedule I have, it's stressful to have to come back again. So next time I will request Maria as the groomer. My groomer Maria was booked up and warned me that my usual 3-hr appointment would run over to about 4-hours. She looked overwhelmed so I gladly rescheduled for another time to accommodate her schedule. For whatever reasons there was a conflict with the time 10am versus 12:30pm. I got an email that said 12:30pm, but was loosely told to come for 10am on Monday March 15. A week went by and honestly I did not remember what time we decided, only membered it was Monday March 15.i did not see an email to support the appointment made. I called Sunday the day before the rescheduled appointment to check and spoke to someone who told me to come for 12:30pm. When Monday March 15 rolled around I went at the time I was told 12:30pm, thinking that was correct. Maria told me that was not correct and I missed my appointment. Said she would have called me but had an "express pet" (i have no idea what that is). Again it was the same story, she was booked up and could not take my pet. I left never to return. I didn't fell valued before, and they definitely sealed the deal this time with their unprofessionalism and bad scheduling techniques. After the treatment I received from the female manager at this location I will never shop any PetSmart store again. When I pointed out the price I was charged was wrong she went over to the basket completely filled with the same item I had, reached way down to the bottom until she found one different item and stated "this is the one for that price". Frustrated I said "This is why I shop at Petco" to which she stated "Then go there then!" in a nasty tone. I do admit I was upset and got loud stating I will and will let everyone I know NOT to shop here! I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and would NEVER speak to a customer like that even if they were wrong. So disappointed since I've been taking my dog to this location for years. Had an appt and arrived (30 mins) early considering I had a zoom call and was told there is no early check-in and had to wait 10 minutes to be seen. Needless to say I left. Arranged for my dog to be dropped off at scheduled time and was told his vaccination expired the day prior. Communication is key and in customer service there is a way to communicate and someone definitely needs a lesson at this location. read more

My Children have been using Suwanee Animal Hospital for a year or so and they have been so professional and caring about there animals .Recently they lost one of there labs. They were so kind they even got a card with her footprint in the mail. What a group of awesome people, So I jumped on this hospital as soon as I got my Mia. They were so thorough and nothing but helpful. She was so loved and and she was even calm they do have a way with the furbabies. I bought fish here for my outdoor pond and as soon as I got home and put it in the pond, it swam straight into a corner and never left! I realized the next day that it pretty much went to that corner to die! Was so pissed. We currently have 5 koi and goldfish in that pond(who are thriving) and we purchased them from Petsmart so it's not like i don't know how to take care/transport fish. I called them immediately to ask the return policy and was told I had to bring the dead fish....wut? I asked if a pic and video would suffice and ...no. How morbid! Had to put the dead fish in my outdoor freezer till we were ready to return it and they thought it wasn't a big deal. We have bought a total of 10 and only 5 survived. I might start buying my fish from other stores due to the morbidity rate of their fish and their stupid return policy. read more

Clean PetSmart with friendly employees. They always compliment my pup and give her lots of love! We're currently enrolled in a beginner training class, and the trainer is wonderful! She is extremely friendly, informative, and patient. I've learned a lot on how to train and interact with my dog. I've seen her quickly train a dog a new command (watched her teach a dog "leave it" within 5 minutes). She uses effective teaching methods with an explanation behind each method. In the beginner class, your dog learns to sit, watch you, leave it, take it, drop it, come here, loose leash walk, sit for greeting (among other things) while socializing with other dogs and people. Once we complete the beginner class, I plan to go through the intermediate and advanced as well. I highly recommend the training at this location. read more

The reservation process went quite well. The woman was pleasant and professional, but when I went to drop off my baby, things changed 180 degrees. Of the two women in the front, only one spoke. She was rude, and did not attempt to get to know my puppy. She was very pointed with her comments and questions. My puppy was shaking like a leaf in the wind. I felt that if my puppy was scared, and she was rude to me in person, I would not trust her with my baby when I wasn't there. At this stage, we left. I will not be back to this groomer, nor will I be back to PetSmart since they hired people like this to care for our community's pets. Unacceptable! read more

Great location. Store is always clean. Customer service always -1/10. Walked in, no hello, no welcome, not a big deal. Come to check out no hi how are you, snatching merchandise from hand. No words being enhanced, maybe cashier was having a bad day no big deal. BUT THEN. Even their shift manager was super rude. We had a coupon for over $60 off and tried to add stuff through out the store to meet the $60 Bc we read the coupon several times. Turns out our total was around $59 before tax so we needed to add something else. Instead of asking us to go pick out something or void the coupon she says " You need to make sure you READ the coupon BEFORE you try to use one". Like yes mam we read it we did not realize we were $1 short. She ended up overriding the coupon anyways but their attitude was so uncalled for. She stormed away before we could even say anything. This petsmart is a very clean, nice location complete with the dog grooming stations. They rarely carry my dog's food, but I often just come here for treats or dog biscuits, which are usually priced decently. Love, love, love coming to the groomers here at this location only because Jada is amazing!! She grooms our maltipoo to perfection. The other two times we've had our dog groomed here by different groomers, they were horrible... One cut him on the belly and nose and the other groomer did NOT cut his hair like we asked. :/ But my fiancé and I always ask for Jada now because she knows what she is doing! Our little pup always comes out of petsmart like a new dog! She has cut his hair multiple times now and we are always pleased with every end result. 1 star for poor groomer customer service. I know y'all don't care but: I made an appointment (ALMOST 3 WEEKS OUT because they're "short on groomers") for my giant schnauzer to be dematted by brush, washed, and groomed. I was told to try and get some mats out prior to arrival and that they would set out a lot of time to take care of her (quoted at more than 3 hours). Day of appt. i call to tell them I'm running 15 minutes late and they tell me that because of the size of my dog i can't be late to appt. (which was never stated). Like how you gonna tell me i can't bring my dog in 15 minutes late when you were supposed to have 3+ HOURS SET ASIDE FOR HER!?!? They literally told me that the groomer would be blocked off for my dog this afternoon, however, the phone rep slipped up and told me that my groomer had another dog there to cut after mine, like HUH?? What happen to blocking off the schedule. Smh. Will not be back, very unprofessional to me. Sure I could have not been late, but things happen, and I had already gotten majority of my pooch's mats out. They literally would not have even had to do a lot. If I were y'all, I would honestly choose another location, they can't be trusted. And i will definitely not trust them to demat my dog properly (with the fact that they had another dog lined up, they probably would've just shaved my poor pooch down to the bone and claimed that the mats were "too deep") read more

Tonya is the most unprofessional & rude grooming associate I have ever encountered..I gave her my canine vet papers (showing that they were up to date) I simply wanted a nail trim. I asked the prices. Her reply, 9 for clip 12 for grind I told her do the 9 and if I didn't like the way her nails felt that I would change it to the 12. Her reply, if I changed it to the 12 after she did the 9 it would end up being 20. I know confusing, right? So I told her do the 9, since she couldn't explain the difference to me. So she opens the door and I look down and she is dragging, pulling, choking my dog to come, but my baby won't move. I saw and picked her up and was like easy, don't choke me please. I asked Tonya, what table are you placing her on, she replied, you can't come back here, again I repeated myself, she then repeated herself, then I snapped. I said, I'm not trying to come back there, I am simply asking you because I am trying to pass my dog to you because you just tried dragging her and we're choking her and I really don't appreciate that. She took her back there did her nails, and my dog looked terrified. More or less because I passed her off to a kid who was pulling her bu the neck. Nails done and it was the most horrible job I had seen. Nail lengths were so uneven. I went to a manager for correction, they went to back held my pooh, and corrected the mistake in the first place. Amanda was the manager and she was very fast and apologetic to fix the situation. Regardless, I WILL never return. This was the worst customer service I have seen in any pet store! One of the worse places to get your puppy trained. Choose another place. Besides the fact you only get 45 minutes of the hour you pay for, the trainer is not good. She comes up with the most inane rules, especially if she doesn't want you there.. And I'm there to take my dog, she talks constantly her daughter graduating. That's not what I paid for.
