My son and I were visiting Adventure Pets in Mandeville and noticed the enclosures were very small and unkept. The Beta fish were in greenish colored water and ammonia build up was at the bottom. A very large rabbit was in an extremely small enclosure, next to an enclosure that was twice as big with rabbit bedding in it where the rabbit could have gone, but it was empty. I viewed the bearded dragon enclosure and was very sad to see no water and no food, this was also the same in other animal enclosures. They were small dragons and they wouldn't go through a whole bowl of greens and water in a day. I said something to an employee (and I said it in a calm, even tone) who said they must have eaten it all. the water and food dish had a black residue at the bottom that looked like a moldy consistency. When the employee went to get the water dish he said, "Well move so I can get the dish out!". I said to him, "That wasn't very nice. Y'all don't keep your enclosures very clean, his response was "well then walk right out the front door". He was very disrespectful. On our way out the door, I saw an older man who I thought might be the owner, as I am now learning, he is the owner's husband...others have complained about him. I said something to him about the employee being rude and what he said to us and the tanks being a mess. He told us to show him. We went back there with him and the young guy who got the water. Started saying nasty things to my son and IN FRONT OF THE OWNER! The employee then asked my son to step outside to which my son replied, "I'll step outside with you!" Then the employee said, "Get out of my face" My son wasn't even standing close to the employee, my son was next to me and behind the owner 5-6 feet from the employee. The owner stood there the entire time and said nothing to his employee about threatening his customers! I was completely appalled!! I signed up for Yelp just so I could report this to others! I plan to take it to the BBB. I could not believe the owner stood for this sort of behavior and talk to his customers!

I was tols the trainers would work around my schedule, also false. They give you times & days they can show. I have a very specific thing I'd like my dog trained out of ( not the normal stuff you'd see in most dogs) and was told that wouldn't be an issue, but since having them, the trainer just doesn't seem to be that advanced. She is a nice lady and all but not the training I was looking for. Their prices are what mainly get you, for $1400/life compared to $2000+ for a course seems worth it, but it isn't. They only give 1hr sessions twice a week but your the one mainly doing all the work. I was under the impression (as they made it seem) that they would work solely with the dog, become aware of the issue and correct it and then slowly give you the lead on correcting it, 100% NOT the case. My dog had become extremely attached to my ex-girlfriend while we were together, and even after 1yr later, he has completely shutdown on going for walks and some other activities. Things he was never scared of before, scare him now. The trainer they have assigned to me is taking an approach like a normal case of fear but almost nothing is working. The worst part is that you can't cancel & get a refund. If you try to cancel, they switch your lifetime over to individual pricing and charge you per session, which is like $200ea making it far more costly then just keeping the lifetime service. The trainer should be able to come get your dog and be them 2 without you to learn the difficulty of what is happeningz figure out a solution, begin to train them out of it and then proceed to teach you what they are doing. Instead the trainer has you do most of the stuff but in my case, is not 100% what is going on. My dog use to be extremely confident in anything and loved walks no matter what, but now the sllightest popping noise to rain, he doesn't want to walk. I brought up its broken heart syndrome but they & other trainers I've spoken to don't believe it is. He is most of the time confident in going to the dog park but thats about it. I've tried all the normal things on my own but nothing goes through to walking. I'm at a loss on both quality of life with my dog and money from paying dog academy. I have 2 other dogs that do NOT show this behavior what so ever and they are also loosing quality of life by not being able to go on walks because my 1 just shuts down. I seriously need help

I was a new dog owner and I wanted to make sure she got the best care out there. They take care of my needs and still take care of every need I have. Her brother he is also a Shih Tzu Milo and he came along behind Gracie since day one Dealing with this animal hospital veterinarian. No matter how big or little my concerns were or questions I may have they were hands-down available, Never did they once make me feel uncomfortable. I have dealt with 3. Of thr doctors there and each of them were very caring and they were exceptionally caring towards me to ease my thoughts with anything I may need. My puppies are always taking care of. I find confidence and comfort in their abilities with my puppies. They treat them as their own. I also take them up on their services of kenneling, day, care, and overnight. My Shih Tzu's always come back to me with a great disposition because of how they interact with every animal that walks through the doorway. I firsthand have seen how the animal I could see the way that the Owner were so comfortable with the veterinarian's . I don't think I can have enough time to even go further in, but it is already turning into a book. I would completely recommend this practice. I am glad my friend Jill introduced me to it. Kudos to the staff and grateful for the doctors. I hope people That read this can see how serious I take my dogs and how wonderful and serious they take care of my dogs. He passed away the first of the year. I would treat cat sitters who hold themselves out as professional as suspect. This status can get in the way of individualized customer service. The pretense of professionalism imposed unnecessary complications. Ms. Fink insisted that it was impossible to do her job in less than half an hour. I limited her to five to ten minutes with my feral cat. Whose needs was she trying to satisfy by insisting on more time? Ms. Fink or someone on her behalf posted a review of my business the day after I left my review of her. The timing makes it highly improbable that it was someone unrelated to the situation. I asked Ms. Fink to remove it. She ignored me. My clients asked about the review. Yes, I did seek to hold Fink accountable but defamation is hard to prove. Ms. Fink expressed her regret that my cats had to spend four days alone, but no apology for callously not helping when I was in crisis. She had no obligation to treat my emergency with urgency. But, wouldn't it have been nice if she did? It is illegal to post factual untruths. It is immoral to do so when you know a fellow human being is already involved in a dire life circumstance.
