The first day the girl insults my dog who was a six month old Pomeranian as ugly. Pomeranians go through a ugly period at the age of six months. I overlooked her ignorance. The main issue is that I suspect they used a shock collar on her as I have reasons to believe this. The other issue is she learned nothing, nothing at all except to come back traumatized. They just stand there and go along with it like it's no big deal. That is not something I take for granted. She has been at this location for years, and every time I've been in she is kind and patient, even when the salon is busy. I had to have invisible fence come out and fix a disastrous wire installation. Dog Guard cut of half my yard after I told them what I wanted. The staff is incredible, relatable, and I was impressed with the treatment options provided/suggested. I'm very passionate about animals, as well as pretty well versed in treatment options. The staff listened to my concerns, and worked with me. This has NOT been the same experience I have received at a clinic nearer my home. Although this visit was fir a friends pet, I was impressed from the moment I spoke w the receptionist, Liberty, to everything I encountered at the clinic. Unfortunately, there are very few programs/veterinarians that try to help lower income people in this area. It's unfortunate, but true, and many surrounding parishes ( East Jefferson,) will only help people that reside in that Parish. I'm not implying that this is a free clinic. What they did extremely well, was listen to my budget, and give options. I intend to use this Clinic for both my pets. I don't tend to give gushing reviews, but I was sincerely impressed.
