I am so disappointed with PetSmart. I have bought many items over the years for our fish and hamster so I expected that if I had an issue, they would be helpful. Wrong. I purchased a Betta fish for a friend's daughter at the end of July. It lasted a week. This friend does know how to take care of them as she has cared for mine for 2 years. We were away on vacation so my friend didn't tell me till now that the fish died. I really thought PetSmart would have no trouble replacing said fish as it's only $10 and I am a good customer. Instead they are sticking to their guns that the fish needed to be returned to the store within 2 weeks. I have no history of trying to scam a free fish or free anything from them. Infuriating! It's not about the $10 as I can easily give this little girl another $10 to replace the fish. It's about customer service and leaving a warm, fuzzy feeling with your customers. Elaine the groomer is the BEST!! Up until last July she had groomed my dog for years. As Sadie (the dog) became less able to stand and be a "special needs" dog, Elaine would make special appointments that took Sadie right in, groomed her and got her out all in a short time, no wait and in and out. This was especially helpful as Sadie found grooming, vets and other outings stressful so the less time there the easier on her. I HIGHLY recommend Elaine and the groomers she works with. read more

I am disgusted with this store. I went in there about a month ago to buy a sirian hamster but the lady that helped me dropped almost all of them...i thought she killed one...i took the one she didn't drop. Then yesterday I found out she was having babies. I took her to the mspca in Boston because the vet in the store wouldn't even look at her. But because they treated her so bad I had to put her to sleep because she wasn't going to make it. I called them about it and the manager acted like he didn't even care. We took our dog to get groomed. I highly recommend Cassandra. She was so sweet and kind to our dog Maya. Maya does not like to have her nails trimmed, in fact she hates it. Cassandra was patient and kind to Maya. She was able to do her hind paws which is quite an accomplishment. Cassandra even goes to a fabric store to pick out material to make bandanas for the pets she grooms. She loves animals it's evident and our Maya loves her! read more

I don't understand what all of the negativity is about. I visited this past Monday and had a wonderful experience. I keep a tank of ciclids. I visited the fish section and a young girl with dark brown hair a new york accent was working. She was incredibly polite and she knew what she was talking about. She even quizzed me before I bought the fish. Normally, I don't like new yorkers, but I have to admit that this girl was hot. I asked her what she was doing here and she was here for school. Curves in all of the right places, even if you don't go in to buy anything, go in for the view. Anyhow, she politely chatted. The selection in that store is great. The staff was friendly. The woman at the register was gross though. Her nails were three feet long. I don't know how she functions or even rings from day to day. Overall a good experience. I'd go back again. read more

I really don't know why so many have bad experiences here, I've had nothing but good ones. I wrote another review but apparently it was too long and sweet, so it got fltered? Wow. Anyways, I always get my fish at this location and the girls I see there are very knowledgeable. To be honest Colton, I don't know who you spoke to, but speak to their manager, don't insult everyone that works there. There's these two girls Bonnie and April, I made sure to get their names this time, they are absolutely brilliant. They were very nice and said words I didn't even understand, they were using alot of 'fish talk', haha, but they explained it when I asked what it was. Bonnie helped me fix my tank. Everything in it was high, the PH, it had ammonia, nitrates and I forget what else. I had to have been there a half hour or so and she taught me so much. She would say 'no' to certain fish I could keep or what to put in my tank (chemicals), but she would explain why then offer me an alternative. She even wrote down directions for me so I wouldn't forget anything. It was very nice of her. Everyone in the store from when I walked in and was greeted to when I exited and they said 'thank you for comming.' They were nothing but welcoming and nice, maybe it was the time of day, but I got very intelligent people, I was even looking for a different brand of food for my dog and this one guy walked me up and down the aisles and explained the differences of brands an their perks. Even told me how to properly transition my dog from one brand of food to the other. I love this location, they were very helpful, I suppose it just depends on who you get, but if you're all THAT unhappy, speak to a manager or put in a complaint so they may better the store. The PetSmart doggy day camp in Glendora, CA is awful. Don't take your dogs there unless you don't mind having them locked up in a kennel by themselves for an unknown period of time. The dog attendants seem to been more concern with talking to one another and gossiping rather then spending time to care of the dogs. read more

The people who work here are....interesting...but very nice. Also, their selection for lizards isn't the most amazing. The cricket supply is always about 3/4 dead, or so it seems. They are also often out of other food for lizards and food for the lizards' food. I'm not sure about the rest of their selection, though. Like I said, the people are really nice. They can be difficult to locate sometimes, but they're nice and helpful enough. And I love my gecko that I got there. read more

The grizzly bear looking, lady groomer who works on Saturdays needs a personality transplant and a good hair brushing. Maybe she should groom herself first. Lady, you offer a service and work for the customer, you being rude and rolling your eyes, and acting like it is a bothersome when I asked a simple question is frankly unacceptable. You better check yourself before you wreck yourself. She also needs to learn how to do her job. My dog's nails were clipped to the follicle on three different nails causing blood and I am sure pain, and his ears I don't think were cleaned at all, they still smelt like a brewery. She was also nice enough to lecture me how I am bad dog owner and need to spend more time with my pet cause my five month old, eight pound Boston Terrier tried to nip her when cutting his nails. Lady, maybe if you did not cut into his blood vessel three different times he would not try to bite you. I cut his nails no problem all of the time. Or maybe he just wanted to bite you cuz you look like a grizzly bear and he wanted to know what bear meat taste like. read more

Do not go here. There was an unprofessional lady that kept yelling at a scared Maltese that kept fidgeting because she was consistently yelling at him. None of her fellow employees intervened which in most cases I would agree to mind your business but I would've respected someone to interject. She was flustered and threw a mini tantrum saying, "I don't even know how to do with his feet!". Petrified, we asked the lady at the front desk who would be cutting our puppy and frighteningly pointed at her. We immediately said no and walked out. Very unprofessional location. This past Saturday I found an abandoned newborn kitten under my neighbor's porch. I brought him to Petsmart in Everett as I had no idea what to do. There was a vet clinic at this Petsmart (I had no idea). The vet took time out of the extremely busy day to look over my rescue. He instructed me on how to care for this newborn and gave me the number to a local rescue that could help if I found that I was unable to keep this kitten. The manager (David) gave me newborn formula and told me to call him if I found that I couldn't care for the kitten as he was sure he would know of someone. I was nearly in tears at how wonderful everyone treated me. I wish that more people/businesses would treat people like this. Unfortunately, my little Peanut didn't make it. The vet assumed that because the other 3 kittens in the litter had already passed that there must be an illness amongst the litter. This did not deter anyone there from helping me all they could to try and save this little guy. Thanks to the wonderful people at Petsmart in Everett, I was able to give Peanut a warm and loving last day. read more

I tried to return an item I had bought and a male manager brushed me off in such a rude and condescending way that I swore never to go back to that store. I tried to contact the PetSmart corporation several times over the next few months and they never responded except for one time when they said a supervisor would contact me, but no one ever did. FORGET PETSMART. It's just PetCo and local pet boutiques for me from now on. read more

Walked into Petsmart Grooming to drop both my dogs off for their appointments and the receptionist was on the phone helping a customer while four groomers were taking care of dogs. Not one of the groomers acknowledged me standing there, not even a quick hello! Receptionist was friendly when she completed the phone call and asked the dogs names. Once I said their names one of the groomers said, "they are my appointments"; still didn't look my way to acknowledge me or tell me I was going to wait 10 minutes for her to finish another dog. When Suzie was finished she walked over and asked my dogs names. Um, hello.. didn't you just hear me say their names and then you said they are your appointments!! Anyways, she wasn't helpful with answering grooming questions and I also wanted to make sure the system showed forty dollars for each dog which was told to me when I made the appointments and she said one of them was going to be 45. What? I explained that wasn't what the rep said when I called and made the appointment and she didn't seem to care. My dog then had an accident while waiting for her to take them and I apologized and asked if she could pass me some cleaning products and she hands me a towel. My dog went poop and you want me to pick it up with a towel? Really! So I asked for paper towels which she had to go find and didn't seem too happy about. Comes back with a roll and no cleaning spray. I picked up the mess and asked for cleaning spray and she seemed more annoyed. I would think in a setting where animals are that accidents are typical and that she would know messes should be cleaned with some sort of animal safe disinfectant spray! She takes my dogs and I finish cleaning but had no where to put the mess. Suzie was no where in site and no one seemed to want to help. Walked to the public bathroom and disposed of the waste. Thankfully my dogs were taken care of by someone else because Suzie supposedly had other appointments. ****UPDATE**** Spoke with two managers, Apple and Greg, and they were both extremely apologetic and responsive to my situation. The apologies were sincere and they took the time to listen. I definitely appreciate the focus they have for superior customer service. read more

Walked in there to get my dog grommed and to get my wifes cat food and the knowlede of the people in the fish area is ridiciulous they have no clue what they are doing or how to do their job(need to be fired) now the groomers are very ignorant also some old woman named elaine was trying to lecture me how to take care of my dog instead of concetrating on her job and so we gave it another chance at a dofferent date and we got some girl named lisa she was okay but not my moneys worth and I swear she was hitting on me just to get a tip showed no self respect . I felt compelled to join this website specifically to complain about the grooming salon here. The staff is full of negligent amateurs who are incompetent at best. Our dog was brought here repeatedly, regrettably, and not once did she come out without some kind of issue. Not once, twice, but three times she left with water in her eats despite our asking the staff to be vigilant about that. All three times, my dog ended up with a double ear infection and a total of approximately $900 dollars in resulting veterinary care. There was one instance where we were told my dog was 'fearful' and 'difficult to groom' and that we should 'acclimate her to the concept of being groomed' -- the meaning of which still eludes me to this day. Was she implying we don't brush my long-haired shepherd mix? Were we expected to tie her to a fence and waterboard her as a means of acclimatization, because that would be the only way to prepare her or any dog for the maltreatment that occurs at this 'parlor'. It's ironic in that, while giving us instructions on how to train our dog, that these people have no clue how to follow instructions themselves. Giving something a 'trim', by definition means: reducing the size or quantity of something. On more than one occasion, my dog came out of their salon totally shaved and looking utterly embarrassing. There were also several abrasions in 'difficult to cut areas', under her arms and in the bend of her legs. This is where the 'negligent amateurs' sentiment comes into play. If you need to have your dog groomed, I honestly recommend doing it yourself. Compared to the trauma your pet will be left with here, it honestly isn't worth it and your dog will come out looking more clownish than anything, prepared information and specific details notwithstanding. They do whatever's easiest for them and they prioritize time constraints over the comfort of your pet. I've been to this store multiple times to purchase dog food and supplies. Okay store, they have what I want/need for my dog. I've been to the saugus location multiple times as well and they seem to be much more friendly and helpful there. This location has some helpful employees but a few times I was looking for something and couldn't even find one staff member to ask where it was. Most of the time though, our shopping experiences here are fine. Today we brought our dog into the grooming salon. We have brought her here before and they've done an okay job (we just have her nails trimmed and filed). I've also gone to the saugus location and that has been decent as well. Today the girl that greeted us was grooming a dog in the way back of the room when we walked in and instead of greeting us in a friendly manner just yelled from the back of the room "can I help you?" And I said yes were hear for nail trimming and grinding. As she looked us up in the computer and had me sign the paperwork I noticed she was not being very friendly. Seemed like she didn't want to be there and was not happy we came in. She was looking up our info and in the past they normally explain to me the nail trimming package options and ask which one I want and tell me the costs (they had no signs explaining these prices or options) and she didn't ask me anything. On the way to the store I had considered doing the bigger package with more grooming services, but she just printed the paper that said 12 bucks for a nail trim. I said "well what about the grinding?" And she said "they're petty much the same". I said "well her nails are long and we usually trim them and then grind for smoothing them" and she just said "ok I'll just do them both". I was happy she didn't charge for the extra service.. But really wish she had asked me which package I wanted before charging me and printing the paper so I was aware of the options. She was gentle and patient with our nervous pup when taking her leash and leading her into the grooming area and said to come back in a few min after we pay. While I was paying in the store, my fiancé went in to get our dog and as we left the store he told me that the girl said she accidentally cut one of her nails too short because they are black and it's hard to see the vein, so she cut into the vein, made our dog bleed and put this sand looking coagulating stuff on it. The ONLY reason I don't cut and grind my dogs nails on my own at home, and instead I pay these "trained professionals" to do it, is so I don't accidentally cause my dog pain by cutting them too short! I felt so bad for my poor pup who hates going there and is so nervous to begin with. When my fiancé asked how it happened she just said "it was hard to see".... This is why we pay them to do them!!!! So unhappy with today's grooming services. The rest of the nails also are different lengths and some still look quite long, or not smooth. Terrible grooming experience today, and I'm honestly not comfortable bringing my dog back there to get her nail trimming done by people who are not trained properly in safety and customer service. I do understand that mistakes happen, but this is not acceptable when I put my dogs health in your hands. I will still be a petsmart customer because as I said the store itself has what I need and the gentleman to asked if I needed help finding anything today and rang me out at the register was very friendly and helpful... We have gone to PetSmart Everett with both of our dogs- an 8 year old Mini Schnauzer and a 2 year old short hair mix. They are always busy so you have to book in advance but from grooming to nail filing, the results are great and the staff are really nice. Our older dog HATES getting groomed and here is no different- but she always comes home smelling great and super soft. read more

This is a decent place to buy fish as they actually have pretty healthy fish. The selection is bland you will not find anything very exotic or rare here. Every once in a while you can find some really high grade fish whether its fancy gold fish, cichlids or community fish. The salesman in the fish area usually know quite a lot. Always ask if they have an aquarium them selfs. They sometimes put salesmen that know nothing about fish but will gladly give bad advice when asked. But again it's usually fish people there. Selection of foods and accessories is pretty good. Not much in aquatic plants care. It's actually one of the only shops it's worth being a member of since they always send you significant discounts and while Most of their stuff is more expensive then Amazon, if you are not in a rush you can easily pick up stuff like filters cheaper than Amazon plus they price match pretty easily almost any competing store or Amazon and returns are very easy. read more

Benifield hospital is amazing! The rest of the staff is amazing at this location except for the groomers this evening. I walked in and they all stared at me and for a good minute before asking if I had appointment. The gentleman stared at me and rolled his eyes as he walked over. Cool. Then he asked me a question and I told him I'll be right back to get whatever I had to get. I come back and he had to ask his co worker something then the young woman she was nicer but she kept telling me how matted my dog was and I told her just shave her. (Which my dog wasn't as matted as you may think, she's over due by 2 weeks for a hair cut) Then she proceeds to tell me that it'll be additional charge for Mattes. Which is fine I'm not asking you to save her hair. That's not the problem here. I normally go to the one on Route one. The groomers are super friendly and they want to work with my Dog. There is a difference wanting to work and Having to work. I'd give this a 1 but everyone else besides the groomers are super friendly and accommodating. So just go to PetSmart on route 1 in Saugus if you want friendly hard working groomers. Just saying. read more

I ordered one last night for in-store pickup, then called them at 7:30am this morning and they let me come in an hour before the store opened to pick it up. OMG I don't even know where to begin with this review. I had a really great experience here for my first appointment for my Yorkie puppy. I had made a second appointment with the same person who groomed my puppy. Last minute they changed the groomer on me because they said she got fired, wish I knew so I can re-book my appointment with someone else. They called me a day before the appointment to confirm and asked if I can come in earlier than my scheduled time, which I did that day and they told me that my appointment isn't until the time I booked it. Why call me a day before the appointment to ask me to come in earlier..what a waste of my time, I had to wait until my puppy's booked time. Jean C. who groomed my puppy shave ALL of my puppy's hair off which the service I requested was for a small trim as my puppy isn't even 5 months old! I was so mad when I came to pick up my puppy. She was also really rude! Then they also even charged me $50 dollars for the shave which I didn't even agree to! They also told me that my puppy was being difficult so they charged me an extra $7!!!! Of course my puppy was being difficult because Jean C. shaved my puppy down to his pink skin!! I will never go back to this groomer again. Worst groomers ever!!! read more

PetSmart - My 4 and a half month old yorkie - Pet Stores Near Me - Everett, Massachusetts

Jessica did a great job grooming my (very) longhaired dachshund this week! I was hesitant to try Petsmart for grooming based on the other reviews, but I chose them because of the ease of scheduling an appointment online and because of previous positive experiences at my old Petsmart in Florida. My dachshund has not had a major haircut in over a year and his last trim was about six months ago, and after a summer of hiking and going to the beach he was in desperate need of a major grooming. Jessica and the other staff members took the time to get to know Hugo and what I was looking for from the haircut, and she did an excellent job. Hugo came back to me very calm and happy, which never happens after a visit to the groomer, and his hair was trimmed to the exact length that we had discussed. My furbaby looks so dapper and handsome thanks to her careful work! We also went with the Furminator add-on since he is a longhaired breed and sheds terribly. So far I have not noticed any shedding at all, but it could just be a result of cutting his hair so much. I am not sure whether I feel the Furminator treatment was worth the extra $15. read more

I like the store for shopping. They are a great resource product-wise and the location is okay for me. My Great Dane always comes in with me and I brought him in a couple of times for grooming: bath, brush, nails, & teeth. The people are plenty friendly and seem to really like my dog, but they don't brush him. Both times when I picked him up he was shedding badly for days. I mean, you pet him and the hair just pours off of him, especially under his neck and chest where the skin is loosest. On my most recent visit I watched the groomer who was to handle my dog as she brushed another Great Dane. She was just sort of gliding the brush across his coat. She was using the hard rubber scrubbing brush with the short fat teeth that is great at getting all the loose hair off a short-hair breed if you use it right, which she wasn't. When I got my dog back, he required a great deal of brushing. I brought him to this groomer because I don't have a place to bathe him - it's usually too cold to do it outside. Brushing him myself is a huge mess so I decided to pay for that service. Duped twice. Not again. Really unhappy. Oh, and his nails were left too long I think. Find a better groomer. I take my 2 year old JRT here to have his nails cut and grinded. The young girls there are very nice. But there is an older lady that just needs to retire. She is miserable, and likes to point out the fact (with extreme attitude) that my dog is difficult! He's a jack russell for crying out loud! I love petsmart for other things, but was not happy about the groomers, the women who worked on my dog smelled pretty bad herself and not like doggies either. I had bathed my dog the day before as she is a white/tan malti-poo and gets dirty looking quickly, all I wanted was a quick cut. Well this women proceeded to tell me I should not be bathing my dog! I told the women not to shave my dog or cut hair tail, she has a pretty fan style tail. I told her shaved dogs get sunburned, she told me use suntain lotion, I said do not shave my dog just trim her fur evenly, she has beautiful long fur. I brush her every other day. When I got back my dog looked like a shaved chi wa wa, she had been shaved and her tail was thinned about! My poor baby, I am very unhappy! This lady had no idea what she was doing and she was the eldest of the people working there. I will never go back there. My dog is only or was 10 lbs. now she looks so skinny and cold. Also some parts where shaved closer than other sections, it is a terrible job. I was wondering why I had to pay before seeing my dog and now I know. I had been hesitant to try PetSmart for grooming as it's a chain and didn't think my pom-a-poo would get a quality haircut. I'm very glad that I did give it a chance as my dog got a better haircut at PetSmart than other surrounding, private businesses for $30 cheaper. I recently took my dog to PetSmart to be groomed, and was told to come back in 3 hours. Personally, I think that is too much time for the dogs to have to wait after being bathed. I went in to check on the dog and was told maybe 20 minutes more. I came back 30 minutes later to witness the groomer being very rough combing her mustache out. My dog was actually snapping at her, because it hurt. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My dog, a Shih-Tzu is the sweetest dog and has never been like that with anyone else. I opened the door and told her that she was finished and I would handle the rest of the combing. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HAVE HER GOOMED AGAIN. First was told that they were booked through July. I could go on a waiting list. Then a groomer came in and we started talking about my puppies shedding. She told me they had a special comb to de shed him. She further told me the earliest I could come in was the next day, July 4th at noon. I came in, a different groomer was on. She told me it would take 1 hour and 45 minutes to give him the works. Shampoo, comb and brush out, teeth, ears. We talked about the shedding and she said this process would take care of it. I left my puppy with them and went to do errands. I got a call in 45 minutes asking if I could come and get my dog. He supposedly wouldn't go in the waiting cage in the back. I asked why they were putting him in the cage when they told me over an hour to complete and it wasn't even one hour yet. She told me they put dogs in the cages when the come in, after shampoo and after everything is done. I rushed there to get my puppy because I was worried they couldn't handle him. I got there. My dog was on a lead and seemed fine. The groomer seemed stressed. She told me they performed everything. I paid her and tipped her $20. Took my dog and left. Over the next few days, my dog she'd hair all over my house. I don't think they did anything and will never go back. Start to finish bad experience except for the girl who booked me. Even by reading all the reviews I will still leave mine for the grooming section of PetSmart in Everett. My dog is really REALLY afraid of the groomer. She had a really bad experience somewhere else the first time she was trimmed. So ever since it has been a challenge to get the perfect groomer. I decided to take her to PetSmart because this way I would be able to stay there for the trimmer and watch everything from the other side of the glass. I don't understand the bad reviews about the grooming section..just think about it..if you want you dong to have the best service COMMUNICATE with the groomer...go there before and watch them working. The first time I took my dog to the groomer (somewhere else) the shaved her and the probably beat her or something because her behavior changed completely. She became very sad and afraid of everything. But when I took her to PetSmart she came back home as the same dog as before. Nothing changed. I know my dog and its limitations and its problems. I am responsible to let them know about her ways and her behaviors. And I did. I already took her there twice and I will continue taking. The first time I stayed there the whole 4 hours waiting for her. Second time I was able to trust and I left her there. She was groomed both times by Arianna. Who is really patient with the dogs. I explained that she was really afraid of everything and anything including strange ppl and the groomer. I explained that she had skin allergies so a special shampoo should be used. I just left Petsmart in Everett Massachusetts. Since I've been going there this has probably been the worst encounter that I have ever had with a Petsmart manager or sales associate. He was completely rude and completely out of line. I always buy my dog science diet food, I've been buying it for her since she was a puppy. Well because I signed up for the website the hills science diet website they always periodically send me three dollar coupons. And because I am a loyal customer to Petsmart they sent me a Petsmart coupon for five dollars for the same food. So that would be $8 off a $14 food. Which is great because I hardly ever use coupons for her food. Before I went into the store I googled if I can use one manufacture coupon and one Petsmart coupon and I read that I can use both. The coupon that I received from the hills science diet website wouldn't scan which is not odd because that coupon never scans, they always have to type it manually. The cashier called the manager over to the register to let him know that the coupon was not scanning. When he walked up he did not greet me or even smile. He proceeded to put in his code so that she can type the coupon in manually. When he looked at the computer screen and noticed that I had a Petsmart coupon as well he was like "well you already have a coupon so you can't use another coupon." And I told him that one is a manufacture coupon and one is Petsmart coupon and when I looked online it said that I can use both as long as they were one of each and not two of the same. And he was trying to talk over me while I was explaining to him what I read basically calling me a liar saying that I never read that online and that it's against store policy to use more than one coupon and that "they would just be wasting money if they let me use two of those coupons although they were different." He was talking to me like I was crazy and like I was below him and I just did not appreciate that. I've been shopping at Petsmart for at least 10 years and I just don't know if I can go back there and deal with that disrespect again. Before the conversation was even finished when I was still telling him about what I read on Google he shook his head no and then he walked away. He did not say have a great day Nor did he say I'm sorry that you can't use two coupons he didn't say anything he just walked away and he was just completely rude! The cashier apologized on his behalf. From this point on I will buy my dogs food at Petco. It wasn't about the coupon because I still purchased the food it was more about the way he spoke to me and the way he treated me as a loyal customer. As a previous store manager I know how important it is to have excellent customer service qualities and this manager just did not have them. read more

I brought my dog to pet smart to get groomed. I have a 10 month puppy who has been very well trained in the last few months. I brought her there and was insulted, treated poorly, and was spoken down to. These "groomers" are as it seems very comfortable with a 5pd teacup pup. But they DO NOT like any larger breed. They told my that I had an extremely aggressive, mean dog. My dog who is 65 pds, is a love bug a cuddler and never, NEVER had shown aggression toward dogs , people, cats etc. My 10pd cat at home had never been touched or barked at by her. I then find out they had her in a crate for an OBSCENE amount of time when they were supposedly grooming her. They told me she was so aggresive that maybe I should not return. My dog while there telling me is laying by my feet while dogs walked in and out of the groomers not making a peep. They were rude to me and I can only imagine how they are with my dog behind closed doors. Just because she is a larger breed and it does not make her automatically aggressive. If i could give them zero stars i would. They could not give me a direct answer on how exacalty she was aggressive. They were rude to my husband and I. I would NEVER go there ever again. I go to this store often and have never had a problem. Sometimes staff is more friendly than others, but I go for dog bones not to make friends. My dog has gone to the groomers twice; both times at Petsmart Everett. The first time was her first time being groomed ever. The woman looking after my dog seemed nice enough. Nothing went wrong. My dog looked much better after her haircut. Today I went back and a gentleman groomed my dog. I only wanted her feet trimmed and her nails cut ( a "sanitary?"). When I brought my dog home, she seemed more timid than usual. I didn't pass much remarks to it because she's sort of nervous and passed it off as her usual trauma of anything out of the ordinary . Some time has passed now and she's still creeping around, but it's more like a limp. I'm not sure if she fell while at the groomer or if the man cut her nails too short, but she's definitely uncomfortable. I'm not going to speculate, but I felt I should write this in case anyone else has a misgivings about their pooch going here. She wasnt walking like this before i brought her. I'll be looking on Yelp for a more reputable groomer. read more
