Thanks to Meghan, my less than one year old dog can now do tricks her 11 year-old brother can't do, and can even communicate with me using buttons! What more do I need to say...

    Puppy adopted from PetSmart event!

We got a puppy in January and PetSmart has been my go to spot for shipping. I used to go to Petco, but realized the pricing, sales and rewards program worked better for me here. We also had a hamster and preferred most items from here as well. The East Dublin location is awesome..the staff is amazing and helpful. - West Dublin: found or pup here! -East Dublin: Come here for our grooming services usually - prices aren't bad and have done a great job.m so far. Did the puppy training here (received discount with adoption) and it went great.

We take our little dog Charlie here for bath and brush every month or so, and we just love everyone in the grooming department! They are so nice and friendly and always give us a report of how he did, it's the sweetest!! He always comes home well-groomed and smelling delightful. I appreciate this PetSmart location staff so much!

The big box pet stores PetSmart and Petco dominate the pet supply market. I don't mind shopping there, they employ a lot of people and the employees are generally very polite and nice. With that being said the management of the East Dublin store needs to bring up their level of professionalism. Here is my experience yesterday with the two Dublin California stores West Dublin & East Dublin. West Dublin PetSmart is the closest store to me and I usually pick up my dogs food there. For the past couple of years they have always stocked the brand and type of dog food recommended by my Vet. (Never out of stock). Yesterday, I went to the normal aisle and I could not find the Royal Canin specific type my dogs eat. Asked one of the associates and she called the manager who looked up my account and then went on the store computer to verify the West Dublin store is no longer stocking my particular product. He then told me per the computer East Dublin has two bags in stock. Perfect ! Arrive at the East Dublin PetSmart, greeted at the door, the only customer in the entire store. Went straight to the Royal Canin aisle, two bags of my dogs food in stock. Picked up a bag and proceed to the cashier. While checking out, I asked the question " are you going to continue to carry this product"? Understandably, the cashier did not know, so she asked who I presumed the manager who was preoccupied with something else. He gave me the easiest coined answer. "I don't know". I asked the question so I would not have to drive 10 miles out of my way to continue to patronize PetSmart. Two completely different level of professional attitude. I know Petco carries it. Plus star for the nice store and courteous cashier and greeter.

Always great to be able to stop by and grab whatever my animals need. I hadn't realized that I was out of cat food and thankfully we were across the street and I saw the Petsmart sign and I was able to stop in and grab some last minute food for my cat. The staff was great and we're super friendly when we walked in I definitely will be returning if I need anything.

Groomers cut our dog's ear. DO NOT GO HERE FOR GROOMING SERVICES.

If I could give 0/5 stars, I would. After recently moving to the Livermore/Pleasanton/Dublin area, we wanted to continue using PetSmart's grooming services, as our dog has been getting his haircuts there (previously at the Daly City location with no issues). An hour after we dropped our dog off, we receive a call informing us that his ear was cut and was being admitted to Banfield for further treatment. Upon picking him up, he was shaking due to the trauma. That night, he went into shock - loss of appetite, consistent shaking, heavy salivation due to nausea, and extreme fatigue. We had to admit him to the nearby pet emergency at that point, which PetSmart rejects to cover the expenses for. Those tragic stories about pets getting badly injured from PetSmart's grooming services? This is yet another one. Our mistake was entrusting these half-assed "professionals" who could not even have the decency to be truthful about what happened when it is clear they snipped his ear. (The grooming front desk said that there were so many mattes in his hair that the BRUSH got caught & cut him.....??????) Long story short, DO NOT GO TO THESE GROOMERS AT THIS LOCATION. Even at any location of this company, you run the risk of your pet getting injured.

Our fancy cage and our new bunny, Boba.

Why so many poor reviews? I had a great experience on Labor Day when I found out I was getting a bunny! The staff were all friendly and welcomed me in. I mentioned that I needed bunny supplies and they sent over Jessica who was very knowledgeable. She pointed out everything I would need and I was done in 15 minutes!

My review is based on my various experiences here. Here are some things I learned... There is a vet clinic onsite, and they automatically give each animal a checkup and make sure they're healthy after their arrival, clean and groom them, spade and neuter them, get them vaccinated and microchipped, and even do a personality test and professional photoshoot before they go up for adoption! (None of these services do you pay for, by the way, when you adopt. They are all included! You only pay for the small adoption fee!) And get this... When you are interested in adopting one of the animals, you don't just get to take them home. They require EVERY member of the household to meet the animal, including baby and other dog/cat, in order to lower the chance of the animal being returned (which would be very sad). I thought this was SO well done! So I put down a deposit to make sure the people in line for my sweet puppy didn't snag my little guy and returned within 24 hours with all of my kids so we could take him home. (Let's just say running and squealing was involved, haha!) Everyone I have met at the East Bay SPCA was incredibly professional, quick to help, and friendly. It was such a wonderful experience. I was so impressed by the SPCA that they've become one of the organizations I donate to now.

Just like humans, dogs rehabilitate at their own pace, and over those six weeks Peaches made significant progress. We're looking forward to enrolling in advanced training once she's ready so she can enjoy more freedom off-leash. Gary is not like other trainers we've worked with. He doesn't rely on obedience-based shortcuts or gimmicks. Instead, he teaches you how to work through real situations and explains the theory behind his approach so you truly understand what's happening and how to handle stressful moments. Most importantly, Gary teaches you how to become the focal point for your dog, which has made a lasting difference for us.

The camp counselors told us that she did mostly starve for the first 3 days, but by day 4 she started cleaning her plate at every meal (we asked them to feed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to make sure she didn't go too long without food). And by day 5 we could see her on the webcam jumping onto the play structure, wagging her tail and barking happily at the other dogs in the teacup room (the room for small dogs).
