She called and said she couldn't finish the trim because our cat was trying to bite. When we picked her up the trim was not smooth and was so botched up. Me and my significant other had a bunch of questions regarding getting two older pets with no vet records added to one of our existing dog plans. Like many of us, I am in the business of saving money where I can, and in most cases in order to do that you have to be thorough in your questioning to find hidden fees and/or coverage limitations. If I could give 0 stars I would!! After getting home from the groomers I realized my dog wasn't able to sit properly. Upon further inspection (first picture) I realized her privates had been shaved either too closely or too harsh to the point of irritation. I was livid when I saw this & proceeded to inspect my second dog and realized he too was injured/irritated.(second picture) I dont know if the groomers are new or simply bad at their jobs but I will 100% not be returning and will be contacting petsmart for a refund or fighting the charge with my bank. I love petsmart and have used their grooming services in Las Vegas for 4 years & my first time in Burleson is simply unacceptable and disappointing. My daughter just adopted the cutest little American Pit Bull/ /Blue Heeler mix that had spent a lot of time outside and her healthcare and grooming were neglected quite a bit. She has her forever home now with the goals to spoil her appropriately so off to PetSmart we went for her first grooming appointment which included shampoo, brushing, ear cleaning and nail trim. Edie: I was able to make a last min appointment at Petco, I had to drive further away but the lady working there was so much nicer and understanding, I always been a Petco customer and since I moved to Dallas I've been going to PetSmart but I won't be coming to this location anymore. They need to train their employees better. I'm not a morning person, made at an appointment with "Lucia" lady with the red hair at 8am My dog has her profile with her age and breed. This a review on the grooming side. We have used this location for our Lily for over three years. The last few visits our baby started getting very nervous going. We used the same groomer so we thought it was maybe due to COVID-19 restrictions and she wasn't used to going. We decided to change to a different groomer to see if it was just that Lily wasn't used to being away from me. But she was not as nervous with new groomer. So we continued going to get her grooming. Until I brought Lily in and our old groomer was there. She confronted me on why we weren't using her. I told her our reasons and her reply was very abrupt and confrontational. She told me in a very firm voice she heard that I wasn't happy with her. I didn't want to embarrass her so I didn't confirm my concerns. I decided to not go back. This morning I was going to give them another chance. Now we have gone to them since 2019 and we have provided rabies shot verification. Lily is due for next shots August 12, 2022. I was informed by the technician that she was due for shots in May, I informed her Lily was due in August. That was not a problem the problem was how she spoke to me. She also rudely advised me that when I made my appointment the website asked me three times for her rabies vaccinations. To that I said no it didn't. And she snapped at me yes it did. The young lady that I was no longer using was standing right next to her. She smirked as this other technician was rudely speaking to me. I left with my Lily and I will not go back to this location. I called my vet and my vet confirmed that Lily's next appointment for her annual shots were August 12 and that's when they were due. The last time Lilly had her shots in May was 2019 so that means they have not updated Lily's records for multiple years. How many others so they not confirm? read more

Brought my puppy here to be groomed. They did a terrible job. They cut his face all choppy and I carried him to the car and when I got home he was limping. I'm pretty sure they dropped him. I can't remember the name of the woman who did him. But I'm never going to come back here again. When I tried calling her to ask about it they lied to me and said she wasn't there and would call me back. I called again the next day from the parking lot and they said she wasn't there so I walked in and she was there! Which made believe even more that she dropped my baby. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. There are plenty of local groomers who are cheaper, do a better job and they actually care about your fur baby. The cashier Robert is extremely slow! Takes him 3 minutes just to tell you your total and push the buttons for you to pay. I thought it was a one time thing, but it's every time I come. So if you get in his line be prepared to be waiting for a while. He will tell you, your total then push a button, then he waits (you still can't pay because he has to do something) then he will say "you paying with a card?" You will say yes, then wait some more, then he will tell you your total again, and finally push the button for you to pay. It's so annoying. I have no idea what he's waiting for but they should take him off the register. read more

My grandmother had painstakingly made an appointment for her dog to be groomed. She confirmed the appointment with one of the staff, received a confirmation email and was set to get her dog groomed. She showed up to the appointment early, they didn't talk to her for almost 15 minutes, and they became rude and condescending when the APPOINTMENT THEY HAD CONFIRMED WAS NOWHERE IN THEIR SYSTEM! The lady they talked to said that she had deleted somethings, but happily took a customer before my grandmother and two other people. This is the last time we will ever come to petsmart. read more

Absolutely horrible grooming service. I paid ahead for my dog's next treatment the last time I took her in (which was actually a good experience). They said they saw it on file, but it was only a 10% coupon I paid for. I wasn't getting across the fact I paid ahead, so I just dropped it since the service previously was good. I paid $80 for the deshedding treatment, nail trim, and teeth brushing for my Lab, and it looked like they didn't even touch her. Her breath was definitely not fresh, her nails weren't trimmed at all, and I still had to brush a bunch of hair off when I got her back home. Never coming back here again. I'd be surprised if they even washed her, because she was ready in 2 hours vs the time prior took 4 due to her being scared of the blow dryer. Absolute rip off of $80. read more

NICE, CLEAN PetSmart, but when compared to other locations this one doesn't have much going on. ^I mean activities-wise. Their grooming salon is never really packed, so if you need your dog groomed then this is a good location to take them to. I have never seen training classes actually being conducted here so I'm not sure how much experience the trainers at this location have given they don't get much experience, or from what I observe. I used to work at PetSmart so I know the inside scoop and let's just say these dog trainers don't go through an extensive certification process, but that doesn't mean they are ineffective. I would just recommend being choosy if you decide to partake in training classes. I come to this location pretty frequently, I'd say around 1-2 times a week just because it's near other stores I go to and its so convenient to pop in to see if any sales are going on or if I want to pick up something random for my baby. They have a fairly large dog section, such as most, but they seem to reorganize things frequently. If you go in looking for something specific and it's usually in one place then the next time you go it may be elsewhere. They have HUGE SELECTIONS though which is always a plus. They have the normal fish, hamsters, snakes, and etc at this location. However, I've never seen guinea pigs here. The other PetSmart locations in Fort Worth seem to have more activity when it comes to vendors; e.g vendors passing out coupons, samples. etc. I come to this location cause it's the closets to me, but if I didn't care about a drive I do prefer the one off of Hulen or the one on Bryant Irvin. read more

I would like to state when I dropped my dog off he was cleaned day before an groomed 4 days before that. I picked up my dog he smelled so bad caked on urine smell an just dirty (how I know it was dirt I will explain in a min) his eye where horrible dirt all around them then this creamy white stuff all in his eyes. I have never seen my dog like this ! Freaking out I called them back to back to back never answered. Them got ahold on the manger which had me on hold forever !! I just hung up googled what todo. Got home washed him right away.. As I'm washing him the dirt is coming off because you can see it in the shower. Red lil bumps all in his skin never where there when I washed him before. I asked them to watch his neck because he had a bump... It was 10x worse then I had ever seen it. I would not go to this one ever again. It shows me that they don't pay attention to the dogs they just let them out to play an out them right back. I called an check numerous times time one one said anything bout his neck or eyes. me and my boyfriend have tried buying fish from this location a couple of times. the first time half of our tank died due to the two fish we bought being sick. the second time we bought fish from this place our entire tank has died. anytime we come it is very understaffed and i don't really think they're taking care of the fish. when we bought from them recently the worker said a couple fish we wanted to buy had some kind of fungus or sickness in the tank. we chose different fish he said weren't sick and still turns out the fish we bought had sickness too and now ALL of our fish are dead. i suggest not taking the chance of buying fish from here. they will literally only last 2 days. read more

If you want someone that's condescending and berates you for not brushing your pet on a daily basis, you need to take your pet here! We came to drop him off at 1:45 for a 2pm appointment and were told to bring him back at 2. They didn't process us until 2:30pm. We called to check up on him later in the day and she told us we should bring him in earlier because she needs her break. You started late on him not us. The website says typical grooming session is 3-4 hours and it took her 3 hours for the whole thing so not sure why she complained about it when it's typical. When I came to pick him up at 545 my receipt said premium grooming 3 hours with an additional charge for extra brushing/dematting for 30 minutes but he was only there for 3 hours? I've been using this PetSmart grooming for over 6-yrs ... Any time I've not been happy with a cut they have immediately fixed it. We use the same person for both our Cockers. All sales associates I've come across is extremely helpful and nice. I have a Petco a lot closer to my house but always use PetSmart. Fixing to use their trainer as well. read more

Had an awful experience at this petsmart recently. I dropped off my miniature schnauzer for a hair cut. I picked him up and they had cut his hair way shorter than normal and left patches of long hair in random places that I had to cut off myself. After further inspection I realized that they had cut his neck open and given him a rash. That patch of skin still won't grow fur. Some of the groomers here are wonderful but after this experience I won't be going back. read more

Worst store do buy any animal. Almost all of their animals are under fed!! My ball python Tarzan won't eat frozen rats. He just won't so we have to buy him rats from the store to eat. The idiots that work here, especially The lady by the crickets refused to sell a rat because she wanted to say it's abuse. All of their animals look abused. Had our first grooming visit yesterday and the ladies did a wonderful job. Overall everyone that works at this location is incredibly helpful and truly loves animals. Toby, the trainer, is wonderful and has really helped our family through the training classes for our dog. The very first day we adopted our dog, one employee (whose name I haven't gotten) gave me a booklet with tons of coupons and helped me figure out everything we needed for our dog without being pushy or judgmental. read more
