The front desk and shampooers were amazing. I highly recommend getting shampoos or self services. But.. It seems like they only have one groomer that might be a manager or owner? I can only assume shes the manager/owner considering she the way was talking to all the other employees and how she was dressed. I think she comes in randomly and has employees wash the dogs. No complaints about that. It's the quality of the cut. She charged luxury prices to buzz a my dog even after I'd brushed and detangled my her myself, TWICE, both times claiming she was matted, I took her word for it the first time because who am I to tell a professional how to do their job. but after the second time she just buzzed my dog for no reason and blamed matting (which I know is untrue) we went to Petco and got the best groom for a reasonable price, not only faster, but she looks amazing!! This is going to be wordy, I encourage all to read this prior to trusting these people with your pet. Sorry to have to do this ,as under the previous group we loved this place and I never took to time to review them as such. Know, we strive to support b-town and small business in general. Prices have steadily increased while service has dramatically decreased, and today was the last straw related in giving our business to this b-town establishment. Before I rant, I would like to apologize for how I treated the hourly employee task with calling me when what happened should have been handled by management. Today, my wife dropped our yorkie off prior to her 0930 apt as we had done many times before. I get the text messages so my wife called me at 4PM asking if I heard from the groomer, I said no however they have been more and more delayed in customer communication so I went back to my meeting. At 4:30PM I got a call from the hourly employee at the desk telling me we needed to pick up our dog and she was half done, and we needed to pay for half the service. I declined and we did not! I am going to skip to the end here because I was ugly to a poor girl who had zero control over the situation, and that I know I am better to act that way toward and in this case I wasn't. My wife who had spent the day finalizing details for her mother's funeral, and setting up her out of town family to come to our home the following evening for dinner went by to pick up her pet. She knew the situation and understood under no circumstance was she to pay a penny towards their failure. She walked in asked for her pet was handed the dog and went to her car. Immediately she realized the dog who looked almost identical to her dog was in fact another Yorkie. Fortunately she realized this after grabbing the animal and leaving, and went back in and was able to retrieve our pet. So what was a great local business is no more, and to the owners of Molly, the yorkie my wife took by mistake, she took good care of her when Angelic tried to give her away. Side note from the husband of the dogs owner, Molly seemed so much more well behaved than my wife's diva. Unfortunate as small businesses are the backbone of a thriving communities, this one needs to be reverted and try to start over. This is the company that we stuck with long after their service diminished while prices went up because at one point they were a group of people who sent a sympathy card to my son when he lost his childhood pet. There was good there and watching it disappear is disheartening. read more

PSA: Do Not Take Your Dogs Here!! Angelic pet services We set up an appointment a week and a half early to have our dog groomed. They had an 11am appointment available. I took her in at 10:45 and the lady at the front was super sweet and made sure to ask exactly what we wanted our dogs haircut to look like. At 2:30 I called to check on the status of our dog so that my husband could pick her up from work if she was almost done. They told me no she won't be done until after 5pm. I asked why it has taken so long and they explained they had a poodle that took 2 people to work on. I then asked if she has had anything done up to this point ( If she hadn't and they were to busy, we would pick her up and make another appointment). I was told she has been washed and trimmed before they preformed the shave and nails. Okay, I understand things happen. At 5pm, I call and ask for an update and get told it would be another 2 and a half hours. At this point it's unacceptable. 9 hours to groom a 14 pound dog is ridiculous. I told her I would be there in a few minutes and not to do anything more. I will pay for what has been done. Even, if it's just a bath. I get a phone call as I'm pulling into the parking lot stating they will try and do an express cut. Yeah, no! Im in the parking lot please have my dog at the front ready to go. I walked into the building and no one is even in the front of the building. All you can hear is the owner yelling and cussing about the situation. She then proceeds to tell her husband to handle the situation and sends him to the front after telling him to not bring my dog up there. He comes up and states that things happen and they can't guarantee times on animals. I said I understood but that should of been stated at the time of drop off that it would possibly be an 8pm pick up time. That's 9 plus hours my dog would of been there! If I would of known that, I would not of left my 12 year old dog. At this point I hear a dog crying so loud with a shaver. I'm 100% sure this was the owner shaving spots into my dog. She has her associate bring trixie up and she has random shave marks all across her body. How is this possible when I was told she was trimmed and bathed at 2:30 when I originally called??? Well it's not possible.... She was never bathed or touched. She was thrown into a kennel for 6 hours and not touched. I asked how much I should expect to pay for this and was told just a nail trim. Of course after the lies and experience we have had I looked down to see her nails weren't even cut. They still had dirt under them. The check out lady comes over to look and says" oh she didn't do it" and tried to take my dog out of my arm as I said " no we aren't doing this" and walk out. I get home and let my dog into the house and she runs straight for the water bowl. I have never seen my dog sit there and drink so much water in the 12 years we have had her. This is the third time bringing my sweet old man Titan to have his nails trimmed and the owner was actually the one there to do the services. He also had his two big, well mannered dogs there as well and they seemed like emotional support girls the way they calmly sniffed Titan as he was getting his nails trimmed. The guy was very patient and careful with Titan and took his time to recheck and evenly file all of his nails with the dremel. He even put a little treatment on his paw where it was a little infected. This is the only place I will bring Titan for his nail trims. read more

My dog smelt good when I picked him up and 1 area looked like it had been trimmed but for $123 I expected him to have been trimmed around the ears and some other places. He was supposed to have "the whole shabang"...with teeth cleaning and paws trimmed and nails trimmed...i mean everything but he barely looks any different. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! We have a yorkie that we have taken to angelic pet spa for 2 years now and they have always done a great job with his grooming. We knew they were short staffed so the fact that it takes a long time for him to be finished wasn't ever a huge issue. The past few times they have told me they needed to give my dog CBD because he was being fussy and it didn't really bother me too much until now. Angelic pet spa moved locations from Burleson to Cleburne (45 minute drive one way) recently and this is the first time we've had to go out there. We made an appointment for Saturday 9/3 at 8am. We showed up on time and nobody came to the gate to let us in, we called over 10 times and NO ANSWER. We waited until 9am thinking maybe we got the time wrong but still, no response. We finally left and got home at 10am which means we wasted 3 hours of our day just waiting for them. Finally, the husband called me back that afternoon and apologized. He said the owner Suzanne had taken her mom to the hospital early that morning and that she wasn't doing well. The offered to pick out dog up from our house and drop him back off when they finished. I didn't feel comfortable with my dog being taken in a strangers car so I said no that we could work something else out to make it up to us. The next day, Suzanne texted me and told me the same thing. I said taking him ourselves wouldn't be an issue since we were both off of work 9/5. She said that she would do "the full spa treatment on me!" at 1:00 pm. When she said this I assumed it meant it would be complementary due to the huge inconvenience from the day before. Come Monday 9/5 at 1pm, we show up on time and text her asking for the gate code again. And again, NO RESPONSE. We wait another 15 minutes... and another 15 minutes and still nothing. No text back, no call back, no answering the phone when we called. We decided to go pump gas before heading back home and she texted us back at 1:50pm! Almost a whole hour after we were scheduled to be there. We finally get in and she brushes us off like she didn't just make us wait for another hour yet again. They called us saying he was ready for pick up at 4pm and when we get there she tells her assistant to ring us up. When I mention the fact that she said it was on her, she told the girl to discount the CBD for today and from here on out. When I told her that we won't be coming back each time because it's so far away and that I had the text showing she told me it would be on her, she said she would discount the "spa treatment" that was separate from the grooming. The total come down to $60 from $85. When I said no again and reminded them that I was also inconvenienced AGAIN today, she took off another $20. I was so enraged that I didn't even want to keep arguing. The fact that she didn't even acknowledge the inconvenience she caused twice in a row and continued to gaslight me about the price is what made me so upset. Also, now that I've read a few of these other reviews on here, I don't think she should have been giving my dog CBD. It sounds like she gives it to all her customers to make her job easier even if they don't need it. Sounds like animal abuse to me. Oh and to top it off, I asked how her mom was doing and she said "oh she's good! She's in Florida". Who would lie about that? HORRIBLE experience. read more

DO NOT go to Angelic Pet Services in burleson unless you want to get charged $300 just to have your dog come back to you in HORRIBLE shape. My wife took our husky, Kado, for his appointment to get groomed, that was set up last Saturday, at 10am today. After being dropped off my wife recieved a call from the business at 12:18pm asking if they can give him a CBD treat because he is "freaking out" which my wife agreed too and they also advised my wife our dog only has a few more hours left until he is ready. Then at 4:47pm my wife called to get an update as she had not heard back which she did not get an answer to the phone call, my wife called again at 4:55pm and got a answer from them and they told her they tried to call her but her voicemail was not set up(which is a lie, her voicemail box is set up) and that our dog would be ready at 6:00pm. At 6:00 pm i went with my wife to pick up our dog, when we were greeted they asked if we recieved a call telling us he was ready. We responded with no as they told us he would be done at 6pm so thats when we showed up. Our dog was still not ready until 6:30pm, we left with just a simple "Have a great weekend!" and nothing else. After we got home we noticed our HUSKY had his stomach shaved with no mention to us (we NEVER mentioned that or told them to do this as you are never supposed to shave a husky)he still had a bunch of mats in his fur that were not brushed out (my wife told them to make sure to brush him good), all of his paws were red and looked raw, and his right leg dew claw was bleeding. I attached all pictures of everything we noticed down below, all pictures were taken 30 minutes after we got home. I drove back up to the business to get a refund as this was unacceptable. When i arrived I mentioned all of the above info to the front desk lady and advised i need a refund because this is unacceptable. The front desk lady walked to the back to speak to someone, as i heard the lady speaking to someone in the back i overheard another lady say some things that were not able to be heard but at the end of her sentence i did hear "...because i will get in his face." which i thought was weird and very rude. A man came out and spoke to me asking me about what was going on, i again mentioned all of the issues above and the man asked for pictures. I showed him the same pictures below that have TIMESTAMPS showing the date and time (all of them were taken 30 minutes after getting home) and advised i needed a refund. The man stated to me "we cant refund the full $300" and also stated to me "there was a miscommunication regarding the shaving which will have to be addressed". I responded saying that I need some type of refund because the service i paid for was unacceptable. The man then walked into the back again to speak with a lady, who im assuming is the owner and is a terrible owner. He came back out to tell me she needs me to bring my dog back up there to see whats going on, at that point i walked out of the business as i was very pissed off and no longer wanted to deal with these idiotic people. I am not going to bring my dog back up to this place where he was just at for 8 AND A HALF HOURS and i do not want these people anywhere near my dog again, I just provided photos WITH TIMESTAMPS showing the horrible service. What else needs to be seen? I really hope this place gets shut down, these people do not deserve to be grooming dogs if they cant even handle something like trimming nails or paw pads without hurting the dog. read more

Had a great first experience here! The staff was super sweet to me and my pup! I brought my Rottweiler in for a bath! Let me just say, he's never smelled so good! I'm not sure what they use but his coat was super shiny afterwards. They called me to let me know he wasn't doing well in the kennel but accommodated him so well, he's my baby and I'm so glad they took good care of him! The cost was pricey! Compared to your traditional PetSmarts Ofcourse but man, honestly was worth it. They earned my business!! read more

But everyone at Angelic was so patient with Biggie. And he looked like a COMPLETELY different dog when i picked him up! I didn't know he could be so white and so fluffyyyy!!! He was Fancy.... SADLY....as soon as we got home and out of the car, Biggie took off and chased a gaggle of geese straight into the pond. We were nervous to take our golden doodle for her first grooming knowing we would be picky with how she looked. She has gone to groomers before to have her hair trimmed out of her eyes, but that's it. We arrived and discussed what we were looking to have done and stressed we did not want her hair to be shaved short. We dropped her off at 9am and still hadn't heard anything about her by 3:30pm. We decided to call before heading home from running errands in the area and after 5 attempts of trying to call without anyone answering we decided to head home. Once we pulled into the driveway we get a text message that she was ready to be picked up. Once we get there to pick her up she had been shaved really short, and nothing on her head had been trimmed. After waiting 20 minutes she is finally done over an hour after we were told we could pick her up. We expressed or displeasure with her appearance and the young lady went back to check with the groomer as to what went wrong. She came back and said this is the length that you requested and that you didn't want the skin to show. We said no, we never said anything like that and proceeded to show her the exact length we requested and were recommended by one of the groomers when dropping her off. After that she walks back again and comes back to let us know that we weren't going to be charged for any of the services today since they got the cut wrong. I'm assuming the paperwork with our dog's info was mixed up with another dog. I'm grateful they were willing to cover the cost but never once was there any sort of verbal apology, nor did the head groomer/owner speak to us when this was our first time using them. As we were leaving they said we'll put a note in the computer so that doesn't happen next time. Unfortunately there's not a next time. While we waited for her to finished the phone was constantly ringing with no one answering. Another gentleman was waiting to pick up his dogs because he was told that they would be ready by then only to be told it would be 2 more hours. We were willing to give them a second chance had some empathy been given and to feel like we mattered as a patron, especially if the owner was in the back the entire time because he let his dogs out as we were leaving and introduced himself as the owner to us but mentioned nothing about our issues. read more

Disappointing. I've come here 4 times in the past 7 months and every time was great until now. I dropped her off for her appointment at 10:30am and they didn't get her back to me until 5:55pm. She was only supposed to get washed, trimmed, ears cleaned, toenails clipped, teeth brushed and the usual load I've always done that has only taken 3-4 hours before. This was 8.5 hours and I live an hour away. Not only did they waste my time but when I got my dog back she was sad and stressed. Her left eye was damaged and she could barely open it. Had an appointment 2/5 for my Ms Zoey. Pulled up and got Zoey out of the truck and she was so excited and run to the door. To surprise the place was closed due to weather when the weather wasn't even bad anymore. I think they hated my dog. I had such a bad and unprofessional experience here today. I had the SAME EXACT experience as the other 1 stars below. As you can see I try to only leave positive reviews on sites, but I just feel a responsibility to share my experience with this place. I typically would first contact an owner or manager in regards to customer service, but I can see by the owner's responses on other reviews that would be a waste of time, and apparently, according to my receipt, it was the owner Suzanne that did all of this. I wouldn't know because, unlike what they advertise, she never came out and introduced herself at any point. My schnauzer had been groomed here twice before. Both times I asked for unscented/sensitive skin products. Both times I picked him up he stunk of doggy cologne and powders with a rash on his underbelly. The second time I brought it to their attention and the cashier's response was "Ugh, ok ill let them know cause sometimes our girls just don't read the notes." Really?! So I had to take my dog home and give him another bath on top of just being groomed. Therefore, I stopped going there 2 years ago. Fast forward to today, where I took both my mini beagle and mini schnauzer in (This was the only groomer in town with open appointments so I figured the third times the charm, right?). According to my vet and home scale, My dogs are the exact same size and weight. However, when the groomer was "assessing" my dogs in the back out of sight, she said that the beagle was 1 pound over so that means that I will be charged up to the next weight class. (I, personally, would not risk losing business over 1 pound but hey whatever you know what they say about skinning a sheep....) My husband actually laughed when she said he was 1 lb. over so the cost would increase. Then, the receptionist asked if I would like a de-shedding treatment or their teeth brushed and I said no. I explained that the beagle was a howler and that if he got annoying to just call me and I be there right away to pick him up. No prob checked them in and left. An hour later they called and said my beagle was ready. When I arrived she tossed him at my husband and the only thing she said was that we needed to bring her leash back. (weird because we had his leash in our hand). She didn't say anything else. Not a word about the struggles or extra charges. I returned 4 hours later to pick up my schnauzer and that's when it got weird. She said my total for grooming the dogs was $55 and $48 so I handed her my card and told her to add a tip. When she handed me my receipt there was an additional $25 in charges that she did not mention. I asked her and she said "We had a hard time with Bandit the beagle howling so much so we gave him CBD and we decided to express track him so we could get him out of here and that is an extra $10. We also decided to go ahead and de-shed him and that was an extra $15. Sorry the girls didn't communicate that to you". I asked "What girls? You are the only person I've seen." She then went on about how it's typical to have a higher price the first time the dog gets groomed. Who said it was his first time getting groomed? Not me. On the way home my dog that would typically windsurf out the window on the way home from being groomed, stayed curled up in the floorboard and kept falling over when I got him home. I honestly don't care that this place, as the owner stated on other complaints "has 4300 other happy customers" or how much dog training you have or what pet business you own, if you cant handle a beagle howling for less than an hour without losing your professionalism, then you are in the wrong business! Pet Paradise stated that he does howl, but once they were sweet and loved on him that he calms down WITHOUT CBD. So, I don't know why Angelic Pet had such an incredibly hard time for less than an hour! My dog was such a hand full that they medicated him and gave him extra services without asking me? If my dog was struggling to the extent that they stated why didn't they call me? Why did they proceed with the service let alone do things I didn't ask for? Just so unprofessional. Judging by the other reviews on here, this is a pattern of behavior with this place so if you must, proceed with caution as you have been warned! read more

After reading reviews here I freaked out and went to pick her up. They said she wasn't ready and needed more time. I then said I didn't care I wanted my dog. At that point they got mad at me and had some smart remarks. They charged me $40 for brushing her. They claimed she had been bathed but she smells dirty. His appointment was at 11 am, come 4:00 I hadn't heard anything on him, I called multiple times and couldn't get an answer so I went up there and they told me that it was going to be awhile on Bentley that they would call me when he was done. 6:00 came around (which is when they close) and I still hadn't heard anything, so I go back up there and they told me that Bentley would not let them do anything else to him, so I said okay just give him to me. It's not Bentleys first rodeo and my regular groomer never has issues like this with him. They charged me full price ($130). He was SOAKING wet, His haircut was not finished, they didn't cut his nails, he still couldn't see because his hair was so long. I'm not one to cause a scene, so I went home so upset and told my mom. I'm kind of new to this grooming thing, I just got my first puppy. But my friend recommended this place. Suzanne and her staff made all the pricing and services easy to understand. I went for the Xpress package, so I could get her done sooner, as I didn't want to be away from home that long. It was only $10, worth it to me. Even though they were busy, they were all still polite and professional. I got my dog back sooner than expected and Maddy, the groomer, did a great job. My dog looks fantastic, and even a week later she still smells good. I'm definitely gonna be back, it was worth every penny. read more

Do not take your pet here! They overbook and run your dog through, without caring about doing a good job! They are liars, was quoted one price upon dropping off, and charged thirty more upon picking my pet up. My dog had a few mats , and instead of trying to remove them, they completely shaved her beautiful coat, I didn't recognize her when I picked her up. Not to mention they stated they had to give her CBD oil before grooming her, she is a puppy, I guess they wanted her to stand attention. When I confronted the very rude groomer about the cost, she blamed me for not taking care of my dog. My dog got brushed daily, just had long hair due to being so young and not being able to be groomed. I have owned Shi Tzu's for 17 years, and have never had a grooming experience such as this. This not my first time,had been coming to this places 4 times.kept giving them another chance and very disappointed (not with the grooming but the customer service).They charged different every time and never gave a clear answer for the Additional charge.In this 4th time (which is the last time i come) Carefully asked for the estimate up front for full grooming service (my dog is a maltipoo, weighted 20lbs ) i had been told "it wouldn't be any additional charge this time.if anything we would give you a call" when dropped him off.Came to pick up and they added 20$ additional.Again this is the 4th time they have been being dishonest about the pricing.The 4th time i paid for "unknown" additional without any reasonable explanation. I am more than impressed my puppy pancho had his first haircut. He had little mates all over and was in need for a cut. Customer service was 10/10 very informative and polite. Pancho came back to us very calm, smelt super good and mate free. The shape they gave him was perfect, I am very satisfied with everything . Here is his before and after! Angelic Pet took 10 hours to do my two corgis right before Christmas. I expected with that much time they'd come home looking like super model dogs. Instead one of them was basically shaved and the other didn't even get his back side trimmed. Neither of their nails were clipped. They didn't look like corgis at all. To make it worse, they charged $250 to do the worst grooming job I've ever seen. And the staff is rude! read more

My son received a flyer for this groomer, took my dog Bankston the very next day. I had attempted to cut his hair myself, worst mistake ever!! I butchered him pretty bad and they were able to fix all my mistakes. He looked so handsome. The entire staff is lovely and pleasant. Just give them a try you won't be disappointed! read more

The owner was gracious enough to contact me to redo the job. I give her credit for that but we have moved on.

We took our dogs, Elsa and Sven, for their first grooming experience. I was nervous, but everyone there was very nice and the dogs were happy when we picked them up. They took a bit longer because our dogs were scared of the dryer, so they took it slow so as not to stress them out, which I appreciate. It smells good walking in, which is always a plus (I've been to groomers that don't.). Highly recommend, will come again. read more

I have a mini Aussie and I specifically told them not to shave him and they still shaved him almost bare. Also I believe they abused my dog because he loved getting brushed as a puppy but the last 2 times we have taken him here, he walks out with his head hung like someone abused him. He is very sensitive now around people and barks at everyone except for me. I personally do not recommend this place! read more
