Short version: Zero…read morestars is more fitting. Did mobile at the house. Blind old dog. Came back in THIRTY MINUTES, bleeding in multiple spots. Having him put down soon, so gave second chance. Told them it was his last appointment before he is put down. They forgot. Long version: I realize we all have different standards regarding what constitutes as bad, mediocre, good and excellent. I can confidently say 90% of the population will think they are BAD. I had them come to our house to groom my blind 16-year-old Bichon. They took LITERALLY 30 minutes with him. Bichons have different grooming needs, and require much more time and attention. When she rang the bell I thought she had a question; no she was finished already. BEFORE HAND I told her to be mindful of his warts. She did not give one f, he came back with half of his warts bleeding because they quickly and carelessly shaved right over everything. I am putting him down soon, and new to the area. I thought I'd give them a second chance and that perhaps I needed to explain things to them like I would to a 4th grader, and it would be ok. They are supposed to be here at 11 today, so I texted to confirm. It wasn't even on their radar. I know all of our own struggles are our own, but you'd think they'd remember someone in partial tears calling to make their pup's last grooming appointment. She even blathered on about how her son is a vet tech. Then had the finger pointed at me asking if I told them it was an at-home grooming. I said yes, I asked if you still had our address on file. I'm actually happy this happened, my gut told me to find someone new, and I will take ownership over being willing to give them a second chance. I shouldn't have even considered it based off my little man's last experience with them. That part is on me. The rest is on them. If they forget an appointment that is a last appointment ever, made by a person in partial tears who explained the situation, then they CLEARLY do not care about the animals.

Was my Aussie groomed or abused? I brought my sweet, gentle,…read moreminiature Aussie, Bindi to Kelly's Pet Grooming, 6579 Gateway Avenue last week. Her fur was thick and long, but not tangled or matted because she is brushed nightly. I requested a teddy bear cut with a powder puff tail. When I returned to get her I did not even recognize her. She had been totally shaved. She has multiple razor burns on her back and neck, blood oozing from her nipples, several nicks and cuts under her tail area. I can only imagine her terror as the clippers came toward her face. She was also shaved around her eyes and mouth. Why? Why would anyone do this to a dog? She was traumatized. After returning home she just laid on the floor softly moaning. For over two days, she only moved to go outside to relieve herself. I am sure she does not understand why, after devoting herself to us for 11 years, I left her to be treated like that. I will never forgive myself for taking her there, but I hope Bindi will forgive me for doing so.

After a bad experience elsewhere, I became extremely selective about who I trust with my dog--and Diane and her amazing team have earned that trust tenfold. The staff is always warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything in detail. Most importantly, they treat our four-legged family members with genuine care and love. Diane consistently goes above and beyond, and every time we leave, my guy looks so handsome and happy. You can truly tell how much pride they take in their work. Thank you, Diane, for always making grooming such a positive experience. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

I made an appointment for my large Lab to get de-shedded, bathed, ears cleaned and nails trimmed and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. His groomer was Kassahndra and she was so so wonderful. She treated him like he was her own and was so patient with him (he is scared of everything). She spent 3 hours with him and did a thorough job while also giving him a few breaks to help his anxiety. The pricing was great and that applies to not just grooming but the entire store. Usually pet places like these love to overprice literally everything inside like dog toys for $50 that you can buy anywhere else for less than half that. Here, they don't do that. And the selections are a lot and very unique. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, I am a FURever customer

My son went in to check on them and was told that 1 got adopted and the other one died the next day. She was perfectly healthy the day she went in. We also gave them specific instructions that she had a swollen tongue from getting bit by a mealworm so she had to be hand fed. Either these people didn't feed her properly, let her get too cold or put her in a cage with the other gecko we had that fights with her. My son was so brokenhearted that this happened. So please beware of asking this place to help with finding homes for your reptiles. They couldn't even give my son a reason for what happened other than she died the next day. Truly wrong!

This time not a call at all and no response. I'm particularly upset because I got called into work today and had my husband rearrange his busy schedule to wait for him. Very dissapointed. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Kyle seemed like a nice guy and I know many who have used his services in the past. One of them warned me of his unreliability. Too bad.

She's been amazing with our senior Yorkie, and just as great with the Yorkie puppy we adopted last year. Honestly? The best part about Well Groomed (outside of our superstar groomer) is their policies. Pet parents know all of the emotions and anxiety that can come with these services- Well Groomed (and Emmy) prioritizes the comfort of their animal clients above all else. Our two boys have issues with their nail trims, and I truly appreciate the fact that WGP does not force them past their comfort level. If the boys are uncomfortable, the service isn't completed. That is such a relief to know our pets aren't being pushed past their limits. Big plus: The photo update texts during the appointment. Such a great service! We actually look forward to grooming days thanks to Well Groomed.
