It's a shame because the two times(?) they did show up they were great. Unfortunately, this is the second time I've made an appointment and arranged my schedule around it that they were a no show. I made the appointment over a week ago. They have my info but asked for it again. Now, a week later they won't answer the phone or return calls. Last time they canceled (after the appointment time) it was due to an injury supposedly. This time not a call at all and no response. I'm particularly upset because I got called into work today and had my husband rearrange his busy schedule to wait for him. Very dissapointed. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Kyle seemed like a nice guy and I know many who have used his services in the past. One of them warned me of his unreliability. Too bad. read more

My Mom used them and they did a terrible job. They only spent 15 mins and it wasn't a thorough job. I suspect because of my Moms health they thought they could do a partial job. They also did not return our dog Jinxie's collar. I tried calling them and sending a text message. They did not respond. I'm not one to go out of the way to post a negative review but they took advantage of my Mom when she was the most vulnerable. I would not suggest using this service. read more

Very impressed indeed. Fantastic job on our guys. Our three Goldens were in serious need of of a good bath and brush, and Kyle did a fabulous job. He took all three at the same time and obviously paid really good attention to them and their personalities as well; he described how each of them behaved and obviously had their basic characters figured out. They were happy and bouncy when they came back into the house and clearly comfortable to stay close to Kyle - we normally get stink eye and a wide berth after doing them ourselves, so them not running into the house and vanishing was high praise indeed. Not only a fantastic job but very reasonable prices, particularly for mobile service. I would highly recommend. read more

Less than a 1 star! Terrible service very irresponsible, unreliable. Changed appointments over and over! Shaved my poor Bichon Poodle! Cut his mole and never said anything! It bled and scabbed over by the time they brought him in. It's been over 1 month and he still won't return my calls! I would like a good explanation of what happened that day. It had me select a star so I did the lowest possible. DO NOT USE THEM. They did a horrible job, did I say HORRIBLE job??? They first cancelled 2 appointments at the last moment and then the day of wanted to come more than 2 hours earlier and said they would be there within an hour and came in 10 minutes. I did not even have a chance to give my dogs their calming treat. They totally shaved my Bichon to the skin!! They claimed he was too matted!!! How can he be when he was only 1 inch long with hair or less when the shaved him to nothing!! They cut into a small growth he had and left him bleeding. I left pictures of how they looked groomed and he didn't comply. My other dog, he did an okay job but he didn't cut his hair very much at all and he is a Morkie. I am there Auntie and feel so bad for them as I see them all the time because I live with them. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING.... A couple months ago I had Kyle come to my neighborhood to groom my dog after a lady referred him to us, let me just say this was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made! After the grooming appointment I noticed that he only did a trim and no bath for 50$ and my pup acted really funny and scared which is very uncommon for her, she usually wants to play and runs around. Later that night she was having trouble using the restroom and would cry and spin around like she was in pain and then the next morning we woke up there was blood where she slept. So the next day we took her to the vet because it was very weird how she was acting and evident she was in pain and bleeding. Once we arrived at the vet we told them what was going on and mentioned that she had been groomed and had been acting funny ever since. The vet then took our girl back and told us that she had severe bruising in her privacy area which the only thing that she could think of is that this is related to trauma and then begin to question where we found/ heard about this grooming place and that her mind went to dark places. She then gave us some pain medicine and sent us on our way. After about 5 days of being on the medicine, she was still having trouble using the restroom so we then went back to vet where they took x-rays and did more test to make sure there were no underlying issues, which there were not! We did call the police and file a report and they told me the best thing to do is to write a public review so here I am. This is such a sick and twisted thing and I am in disbelief that someone would do this to a dog but i believe people should be aware of what is going on and keep their eye out and stay away from Kyle's pet grooming! read more

We have been using Kyle's Mobile Grooming for the last 3 years for our 15 year old Maine Coon cat. He gives her a fantastic lion cut and also trims our other pet's nails from time to time. Unreliable!!!! We waited For almost 3 weeks for our appointment and when Friday came, the day of our appointment on Memorial Day weekend.. we waited and waited and waited no call no show!!! When I called late in the afternoon to see where they were... I was told "they didn't see us on their book!" Despite the fact we were supposed to have been on the cancellation list as well. So Kathy promised they would be here on Sunday sometime between 3-4..... AGAIN no call no show.... finally heard back from my voicemail on Tuesday evening.... claiming A/C issues in the vehicle..... More issues than A/C with this outfit.... phone issues.... professionalism issues... common courtesy issues!!! We wasted 2 whole days of a holiday weekend waiting around on these clowns who didn't even have the decency to pick up the phone!! I used him several times and asked to have a standing appointment for my dog, They never came when expected, and my dog was always scared of him. But I called for an appointment right before I was having a party. First, you always get the message machine, then they don't call back. Finally I set an appointment, and he didn't show. So I had to take the dog somewhere else, and I told that to the person who answered the phone, and canceled him coming, and guess what.....after I had canceled he showed up. After calling around to book a wash, blow-out, nail trim and sani-cut for Gracie, our older Siberian Husky, I was met with several rude replies of, "Sorry, we don't accept that breed!" or simply no returned call at all. I called Kyle's for their mobile service on short notice & though their mobile schedule had nothing available for my timeline, they gladly squeezed us in for service at their shop. My husband is super picky w/his baby and they let him sit/wait out front the entire time. They done a phenomenal job with her! She looked and smelled wonderful afterward. We were VERY happy & satisfied with this groomer and we'll definitely be using them going forward - for Gracie and the new furbaby we recently added to the family. Being a new resident of the area, I called at least 5 dog groomers in the Sarasota area to get my 12 pound Eskie groomed. I only called those with 5 star ratings, there were only about 6 of them and every one of them said they were not taking on any new clients. Some of them were downright RUDE about it (look them up you will see who they are right away) and others simply had a message saying "we are not taking new customers," and offered no help at all. I came across Kyle's after several days of research and was a bit skeptical when I called and he said he had several openings within the next 2-3 days. However, being that I needed it done, I gave him a chance. Well, GREAT FIND!!! He was actually 30 minutes early for the appointment, no big deal to me. He was friendly. He did not want to use any leash or tie down. He insisted I pick up my dog and then hand her to him so he could carry her. She was not happy at first and as soon as she was in his arms she was happy and calm. 30 minutes or so later, she was back, cut beautifully (he even missed her skin tags which I had forgotten to tell him about) and her nails done well. I will be using him again and I hope he stays in business. read more
