I would give them 0 stars but I can't. We thought we were doing the right thing by asking them to help us find homes for our leopard geckos, but actually it ended up being disheartening. My son went in to check on them and was told that 1 got adopted and the other one died the next day. She was perfectly healthy the day she went in. We also gave them specific instructions that she had a swollen tongue from getting bit by a mealworm so she had to be hand fed. Either these people didn't feed her properly, let her get too cold or put her in a cage with the other gecko we had that fights with her. My son was so brokenhearted that this happened. So please beware of asking this place to help with finding homes for your reptiles. They couldn't even give my son a reason for what happened other than she died the next day. Truly wrong! read more

I was very excited to see Pet Supplies Plus in Parrish open after I moved to NRR. However the customer service is nonexistent. I was using a discount code on my purchase of 1 bag of frozen Small Batch Pork. The clerk asked for my proof of obtaining the code. As I rechecked my Rewards program the franchisee owner came out and boldly told me they do not accept the code without the email and it must be addressed to me. All said in a rude manner. I told her forget I'll shop elsewhere. I continue to patronize the Pet Supplies Plus on Fruitville Road a 25 minute ride away. They cordially stack coupons, honor specials and offer a Senior Citizen Discount on Tuesday all while you earn points on your Rewards program. I'm sure this location will survive due to less competition, but that will undoubtedly change with the enormous growth in this area. I take my business to where I am a valued customer. read more

I tried to return an item that I was over charged within a week with the receipt. I was told I was being rude and if I didn't get out of their store immediately I would be arrested for trespassing. This assistant manager Chris is the rudes person I have ever can across in my 68 years. I have never been talked to by anyone like him ever. I did like their vet clinic very much. But I'm not allowed in their store. And I'll never go near there again. I have heard similar stories like this from near by stores. read more

Popped in this store 3/26/24 with my new Yorkie puppy. I was greeted warmly by the beautiful cashier. Right away I was offered help by a gentlemen who escorted me to the products I was looking for. He was very helpful. I then walked the store for dog toys and was also offered help by two young ladies. EXCELLENT service, product knowledge and item location in the store. I give this team a 10! I first visited this store shortly after it opened in the new shopping plaza on 301. My initial visit was curb pickup and the order was perfect, PLUS this store actually discounts my Science Diet dog food. Two dogs eating both wet and dry Science Diet gets expensive. But not only are the prices better even than what I can get at my beloved Chewy online, the Rewards program took thirty dollars off my most recent order last week (July 2024). I was approached by three different employees offering help, and Kim searched the back for more of a needed item. My grandson LOVED watching the fish and other little animals. And of coure they helped me to my car and loaded everything up. I wish I lived in the area as the PSP in my area is 40 minutes away and doesn't yet deliver. I will definitely be back the next time I visit family in the area and stock up. read more

Have called--have spoken to 2 assistant managers. They claimed to have you contact me. At this point, it is liable and slander as left on my business vm and heard by others--horrible location. Apparently, there is no "manager" or district manager. Instead of offering help to visually challenged customers, the "Ass Mngr" accused the customer of theft in a voice-mail. AVOID THIS FRANCHISE BUSINESS! Terrible experience attempting to return a bag of cat food five days after purchasing it (receipt clearly states 30-day refund). They refused to refund my money or exchange the product. Customer service at this store is non-existent and the staff/"team leads" are rude and uncaring. Not only that, but they have no problem whatsoever telling customers "not to come back." It happened to me. I was shocked, however after reading other reviews it appears to be their mission statement. Not joking. And beware of their "25% off ANY PURCHASES" coupons. They have a dollar limit you only learn about at check-out. It is NOT printed on the coupon(s). I purchased more than $200 worth of products and received $30 off (their max). What? Unconscionable. I strongly suggest you stay away from this establishment, they do not deserve your business. Fortunately Leo & Lucky's is across the street, go there. You will be treated with kindness, respect and EXCELLENT customer service. They have a team of very knowledgeable, friendly, staff/management and offer excellent prices and products. read more

I took my Goldendoodle in for a grooming appointment on 5/31/24 at Noon. The groomer texted me at 2:38 stating that she had been so backed up with grooming that she would try and get her in anytime soon. My dog had CBD to calm her for the groom. I texted Amber back and said my husband was on his way home and will pick my dog up. Do not groom her. He walked in and she said I gave her a mini cut and bath. My dog had been in the create for over three hours fully medicated. So the CBD had worn off. She is a very behaved dog but I give her CBD to calm her as Amber ask me to. Who takes so many appointments that she cannot work on my dog for the time that was promised. Then my husband went to the manager and said that our dog was not groomed. The manager said well I have to pay her for what she has done. It was $70 dollars. For a bath!!!. I pay $94 for a full groom. My husband said you have to be kidding me. When our dog was left for three hours. He said you need to pay! My husband did because he felt the manager would call the police. This is not a manger. i HAVE CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND THEY ARE LOOKING INTO THIS. We bought all our dog food and toys and supplies from Pet Supplies. NO MORE! I have groomed her here before and now it has come to this! Waiting three hours when I had a set appointment. The manager has no people skills and talks to people horrible. Just a horrible experience having my dog groomed here. My pup has had the same groomer 3 previous times with no issue but today another groomer helped and said my dog's behavior was bad. 5 minutes before picking her up I get a text saying there will be an up charge of $25 for bad behavior and condition of her coat. My pup is traumatized and cut is all uneven .The owner is just a nasty lady. Steer clear, not a good business. read more
