No excuse! I should've checked the reviews first!

Rick runs the front and makes scheduling super easy -- just leave a voicemail and he calls back quickly with flexible options. He's always friendly, professional, and on top of everything. The grooming is top-notch: my pup came out with clean ears, neatly trimmed nails, shaped paw hair, and the perfect cut behind the ears, tail feathers, and nether region. They'll even degland if needed. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of care. I've tried other groomers, but none match the consistency, attention to detail, and care here. My dog always leaves happy, clean, and looking perfect. Highly recommend -- true spa day experience.

Life has changed for the better since finding Fancy Paws. I have always loved the look of a freshly…read moregroomed dog but until Fancy Paws I would only have Benny groomed when he got stinky. Not because of the cost but because of his dramatic crying and begging. Benny would start moaning blocks from the salon. Somehow he knew where we were going. When I parked, the moons would turn into screams. When entering the salon he would create a scene of jumping, crying and begging to be picked up and taken away. I always left feeling terribly guilty. Since finding Fancy Paws, . I happily hand him off without a whimper. When I pick Benny up, he looks gorgeous and happy. I am thrilled with his appearance and the reasonable price they charge. Now Benny gets his grooming done on a regular schedule, and he never waits till he is stinky.

The groomer, Katie always has a reason why I should not choose this cut. When I persist, the end result is not anywhere close to the picture. If she is unskilled and unable to produce the result, she should say so. I personally feel it's an unwillingness, as it would require more scissor work. One session absolutely butchered him, and he looked like a rat terrier. Bottom line: You do not get what you ask/pay for, you get whatever she decides. The 1st picture is from another groomer, and what I ask for. 2nd picture is the result of Katie.

We thought we'd try a mobile groomer and my husband found Luxury Pet Spa on the Next Door app. We texted Stanley and he responded in a timely manner. We were able to schedule our dog for grooming the following week. When Phi came out, I saw immediately how well the van was maintained - both inside and out. That was reassuring in and of itself. I first asked Phi if he could also take care of our slightly younger and smaller mixed breed dog's nails - which he kindly did, even though we had not scheduled him to do her nails previously. Once he finished with our smaller dog, he took on our elderly girl who doesn't stand well... who is very shut down, but very sweet. He bathed her and trimmed her up in all the right places... and he didn't drag out the time. Phi seemed acutely aware of the importance of limiting the stress on our girl... and he was very sweet and gentle with her. I knew immediately, we'd be using him again... HE GETS IT.. he understands what the dogs need and he has amazing compassion. Because we had been unable to find a new groomer for our girl, it had been awhile since she'd been trimmed up... and when Phi got done, you could see that he had worked really hard, but you could also see that she looked and felt better. I have already contacted Stanley to set up nail trims and grooms with Phi on a regular basis... AND BY THE WAY... YOU CAN'T BEAT THEIR PRICING!

Prior to purchasing our current dog from Patrick, we interviewed several of his clients, all of whom had nothing but praise for the service provided by Patrick as well as praise for the high-quality dogs they received from him. We worked with Patrick for over 3 weeks prior to obtaining our puppy from him. We visited his store at various times and watched his interaction with the animals. He was very knowledgeable and gentle with all the animals. Our dog came with authentic papers confirming a breeder was used and not a puppy mill. We had a concern two days after bringing the puppy home, and Patrick had us bring her back to the store to check on her. He handled our every concern with the high level of professionalism we have come to expect from him. Our puppy is doing great in her new home! As for the vet Patrick uses, he is affiliated with a well-known, very respected local animal hospital. We have met with him, and he was very thorough. We have used other local vets over the past 20 years, and this one is on par (if not better than) the others. If you are looking for a pet store to exceed your needs (not simply meet them), check out Top Dog Pets.
