I love Petsmart for numberous reasons. First off, there are so many sections for all types of animals. Birds of all sizes, rodents from mice all the way to rabbits, cats, dogs and even reptiles can be cared for with the products bought here. Second, a lot of animals they sell products for can also be adopted here! The cats are all adoptable thru different sources but the birds, reptiles and rodents can be adopted straight from the store. My friend and I were able to snuggle with some of the cats and honestly it was the best moment of my week. I will 100% be back often.

Great store. Great energy. My dogs and family love coming here. This will be the only pet store I'll ever go to for my dogs.

They do not have dogs there but they have cats up for adoption and offer information about dogs up for adoptions that are not on site.

This place is ADORABLE, and is so homey and comfy!…read more Thank goodness for Southwest Michigan's Superbook, because without their awesome coupons, I never would have found the Crate Escape (buy one, get one free day of doggy daycare)! Their main room has rugs, chairs, and sofas for the dogs to lounge and rest on, as well as plenty of room for them to socialize. We boarded our Coraline there for a few nights once, and periodically bring her in for a day of daycare. For overnight boarding, they have private areas for dogs that range in amenities. Some will have their very own personal seating area, and bed, or there are also crates for them to sleep in if they need that. Coraline LOVES this place. As soon as I let her out of the car, she starts lunging for their front door. When she gets home from a day of daycare, she goes off to a quiet corner to nap right away, which I take to be a good sign because hopefully, that means that she wore herself out having fun with her little furry friends there! We've been to other places in town, but like this one the most because it always feels so warm and inviting. Two warnings: 1) They require reservations for day care and boarding. We were told the last time we dropped her off that they wouldn't take our dog for daycare again unless we called ahead of time (obviously, we didn't know about the reservations-only policy because no one ever told us about one before then), and 2) it's CASH ONLY, which is a pain because I seldom have cash on me. Luckily, there's an ATM at the Walgreens down the street. (The website doesn't list much information, AT ALL, so call, or stop by to grab some informational sheets from them.)

They never were as good as his old groomer and frequently gave him patchy spots, especially around his legs and neck, but it was never enough to complain about. What motivated me to write this review was just today we pick our boy up from the groomer around 4pm and took him for a walk this evening. It was dark, and we were shocked to see when we came home all 4 of his paws were bloody. They trimmed the nails on all 4 paws past the quick. We called to tell them and to make sure the person who did his nail trimming knew they caused all 4 paws to bleed. The person we spoke with told us it is normal to cut to the quick and keep it short. They said this happens when "we don't keep up with his nails". But he had gone for grooming 6wks ago and walks about 2.5 miles every day. So his nails were not long to begin with. They told us to apply some Kwik stop to his nails and he would be good. They did not offer any compensation. They simply told us the who did his nails "usually does keep them short". I am not a groomer, so I cannot say if this is normal or not from a technical standpoint. I can only say in his nearly 5 years of being groomed, we've never experienced this before, and Mutterly Love seemed pretty convinced it was normal.

The communication between myself and D. Gingerich was very sketchy and only via text. She didn't know what date the puppies were born when I asked, and she said "a few weeks ago"! She verified, via texting me, that the puppy I wanted, in a picture she sent via text, I was interested in... was in fact reserved for me that night! When I called a few days later with questions about the parents and pup, (as I was very leery about this breeder's legitimacy), she sounded very hesitant, then told me that the puppy that was reserved for me two days before, was already reserved to another by her husband. I had my reservations about this "breeder" from the moment we texted , and this phone call today just confirmed my reservations about that this breeder is not legitimate. I feel there is a connection with this breeder as a broker to a puppy mill, which is a huge market in MI, I just learned. D. Gingerich wants $200 upfront before one can even seeing the puppies in person. She sent me pictures of puppies that looked completely different than the supposed parents (red flag) and she sent her first initial and last name, not first name (red flag) for the check! Do your homework on this breeder! Do not send money or buy from this breeder unless you are allowed to see the puppies in the breeding home with both parents present! Period! I would not trust this person!

A downside is you get charged for Sunday night even if you pick them on Sunday. And you can only pick them up between 4-6pm on Sunday. They take your dog outside every 2 hours during the day to potty AND you get 3 play sessions each day! The front desk area is incredibly nice, although I was terrified my pup was gonna mark his territory on the rug or chairs in the waiting area - luckily he didn't! My dogs room was in the aquatic facility and had a futon and chair for him to chill. The facility is huge with a ton of buildings and plenty of outdoor play areas with high fences. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the slightly odd interactions I had with the staff. I called a few times to check on my pup and they seemed surprised that I did and just told me he was doing good. And the behavior sheet I got at the end was pretty bare compared to ones I've gotten at other places, especially with him being there for 2 days. Overall my pup seemed to enjoy his time here and was well cared for!

Their failure caused pain for for my dog & 2 Vet visits resulting in $500+ Vet bills. I would NOT recommend taking your dog there. What good is filling out the lengthy forms & sending Rx's in the original Rx bottle (that has instructions on it) if they dont follow instructions?! They accidentally sent Their pill pack home with my dogs things. They hand wrote the WRONG dosage on it & didnt have the correct pills in it for that night or the next day. They blocked me on FB, not a good sign of them taking responsibility at the end of the day. I'm pretty sure B&B is ghosting me. They need to make things right & reimburse me for Vet bills that were the result of Their mistakes.
