Always friendly people. Love the $10 coupons after spending a certain amount of money. Prices and selection are good, too.

Walked in with my cat for a nail trim. Workers were friendly, smiling. Took just a few minutes, and the cost was only $8.

They never were as good as his old groomer and frequently gave him patchy spots, especially around his legs and neck, but it was never enough to complain about. What motivated me to write this review was just today we pick our boy up from the groomer around 4pm and took him for a walk this evening. It was dark, and we were shocked to see when we came home all 4 of his paws were bloody. They trimmed the nails on all 4 paws past the quick. We called to tell them and to make sure the person who did his nail trimming knew they caused all 4 paws to bleed. The person we spoke with told us it is normal to cut to the quick and keep it short. They said this happens when "we don't keep up with his nails". But he had gone for grooming 6wks ago and walks about 2.5 miles every day. So his nails were not long to begin with. They told us to apply some Kwik stop to his nails and he would be good. They did not offer any compensation. They simply told us the who did his nails "usually does keep them short". I am not a groomer, so I cannot say if this is normal or not from a technical standpoint. I can only say in his nearly 5 years of being groomed, we've never experienced this before, and Mutterly Love seemed pretty convinced it was normal.

He tends to get anxious in certain situations but I am happy to report he did exceptionally well at Mutterly Love. That is a great testament to the friendly, attentive staff. The facility is clean and well run. The best part is you can pay for ur pet to have a bath before you pick them up! Cooper always comes back smelling really good! I would not hesitate, call Mutterly Love today! I promise you your pup will be in good hands.

This place is ADORABLE, and is so homey and comfy!…read more Thank goodness for Southwest Michigan's Superbook, because without their awesome coupons, I never would have found the Crate Escape (buy one, get one free day of doggy daycare)! Their main room has rugs, chairs, and sofas for the dogs to lounge and rest on, as well as plenty of room for them to socialize. We boarded our Coraline there for a few nights once, and periodically bring her in for a day of daycare. For overnight boarding, they have private areas for dogs that range in amenities. Some will have their very own personal seating area, and bed, or there are also crates for them to sleep in if they need that. Coraline LOVES this place. As soon as I let her out of the car, she starts lunging for their front door. When she gets home from a day of daycare, she goes off to a quiet corner to nap right away, which I take to be a good sign because hopefully, that means that she wore herself out having fun with her little furry friends there! We've been to other places in town, but like this one the most because it always feels so warm and inviting. Two warnings: 1) They require reservations for day care and boarding. We were told the last time we dropped her off that they wouldn't take our dog for daycare again unless we called ahead of time (obviously, we didn't know about the reservations-only policy because no one ever told us about one before then), and 2) it's CASH ONLY, which is a pain because I seldom have cash on me. Luckily, there's an ATM at the Walgreens down the street. (The website doesn't list much information, AT ALL, so call, or stop by to grab some informational sheets from them.)

My wife took our dog, Baxter, to this groomer, Jaden, two weeks after we moved back to Bridgman…read more Jaden explained that someone walked in while she was grooming Baxter, which caused him to jerk and her to accidentally cut him twice on the ear. This occurred late on a Friday afternoon, and since most vets in the area were closed, we had to drive to the nearest emergency vet in Westville, IN, 34 miles away. We spent 6 hours at the emergency vet, where Baxter received multiple stitches under anesthesia due to the location and depth of the cuts. The vet bill ended up being over $1,100. When we approached Jaden about reimbursing the vet bill, she insisted the cost should not have exceeded $600, which might be true if a local vet had been open. However, we called every vet in Berrien County, and all of them were closed. Given the situation--Baxter was in distress and bleeding--we had no choice but to take him to the emergency vet. We also inquired whether she had business insurance, which we believe most groomers would have to cover incidents like this, but she did not respond. Finally, after a few weeks of not hearing back from her, we agreed to her offer to cover half the bill and even expressed a willingness to continue using her services. However, at that point, she stopped responding to our messages altogether. Our takeaway is this: if you're trusting Jaden with your pet, be aware that she may not be fully prepared to handle emergencies or reimburse you for expenses related to accidents. If you don't have the financial means to cover an unexpected vet bill, we would recommend looking for another groomer who is better equipped to handle such situations.

I was out of town on my way to Florida when the incident occurred on November 19, 2024, which was the first morning of my trip. My sister was called and quickly rushed Laker to Kryder Vet in Granger, IN. The vet decided not to traumatize him that day, so the following day, they had to put him under anesthesia to clean his wounds. I changed my flights and returned home immediately. Laker is not just a pet; he is part of the family and an AKC show dog who has won many awards. Will Short, the owner of Bunk and Biscuit, stated that the medical bills would be covered by the owner of the Pit Bull. Laker has had to visit a groomer multiple times to remove mats, and he has been seeing Dr. Block weekly, as recommended by Kryder, to help him recover from the trauma. This was the first time something like this had ever happened to him. It took four staff members to get the Pit Bull off Laker. Bunk and Biscuit has live cameras throughout the facility, allowing owners to watch their dogs. When I requested the footage the next day, I was informed it was no longer available. Will then began contacting my vet to alter the details of what actually occurred and downplayed the incident. I had to instruct my vet not to communicate with him further. Since Laker was a puppy, he has been coming to Bunk twice a week, sometimes more, totaling thousands of dollars over the course of just over a year. Multiple staff members have confided in me about what happened and that Will is attempting to cover it up. However, he is now refusing to pay the vet bills, the groomer's fees, and the expenses incurred with Dr. Block. Will has become very confrontational. Laker also picked up Kennel Cough from there and Will never covered those costs and refused to tell other clients about it.
