make sure to check the bottom left fish tank. Probably 30 -40 dead fish left in there along with a few on the brink of death
    Elena V.

I was very disturbed yesterday when bringing my nephew along for a quick trip i to Petsmart on Yonge st in aurora yesterday. It is the store we usually buy our dog and cat food from - but since we had our nephew along we decided to look at the fish. My heart sunk when we got to the tank on the very bottom most left tank in their aquatic area. Our of probably 40 fish, approximately 3-5 were alive, picking at the carcasses of the dead. When I made an employee aware of the tank, she said "yeah the fish in that tank die very rapidly. The sender always sends us really bad quality fish so they die riight away. We just haven't gotten around to cleaning that tank" ... the other employee (possibly manager i spoke to says "we clean that tabl every five minutes, its just how quickly those fish die" to which i replied "im sorry but fish don't turn white and decompose within five minutes. It is cruel to leave fish in a tank surrounded by dead carcasses. This employee was not management, but if your store is aware that you are utilizing a very bad quality source for you fish, stop using that supplier!! If this is what this tank looks like on a daily occurrence (which 2 employees told me it is) i am appalled. Do better.

I have a 14 month old miniature schnauzer who made it very difficult for me to allow people into my…read morehome, and to walk by people on our walks, as she is very people reactive. It was embarassing daily when she barked and lunged at people for no apparent reason. I had my first 2 hour lesson with Jason last night, and the difference I can see in my Teeka already has made me enjoy our walk this evening, instead of me feeling uneasy of her reactions towards people we pass on our walks. I would highly recommend Jason as he was able to assess my dog's unwanted bullying behaviour as "guarding me" in my house and in public. He showed me how to take control at home, and and on our walks. I look forward to our next 3 sessions and a calmer and socially graceful pup.

Jason is the puppy whisperer. It's as simple as that. He understands dogs and dogs understand him…read more My puppy is my first dog and I had no idea what I was doing. My fear of doing the wrong thing was affecting my dog and was making me an ineffective dog owner. Jason corrected my behaviour so that we could correct my puppy's behaviour. She's 6 months old right now and is a very relaxed and well adjusted pup. Nobody ever tells you just how much work having a puppy is and Jason put my mind at ease and gave me the confidence to take her out and not over react to situations because now I KNOW that she will come when called. With Jason's help I learned to enjoy my puppy and everything that comes with being a puppy. I realize that her puppyhood is short lived and I am enjoying every minute of it. Within my first meeting with Jason I learned the basics of what to do and what not to do, what dogs need in order to thrive, (and no, it's not just bones and love) and how to properly communicate with my dog to let her know what I want from her. Trust is key in a relationship with your pet and I wouldn't have learned that without Jason's help. No amount of reading puppy books or talking to other dog owners will give you the in depth knowledge and hands on experience that Jason will provide. If you're doing something wrong, Jason will tell you and understand that this is what's best for your pet. Mango and I both love Jason and would highly recommend him to any old or new pet owners. Thanks Jason, see you at the dog park!

Inise is a fantastic dog trainer who taught us so much about dog behaviours and how to make us a better pet owner. When you first walk into the place and see all the dogs that are there regularly, you maybe overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. It's very low key and fun for the four legged friends but, there are also discipline and rules for all. It is such a great environment for us as dog owners and our pets to learn and socialize. If you're unsure, Inise and her team will guide you to the best of their ability. It is very important to socialize your dogs. Be a responsible pet owner and take them there for puppy classes, obedience classes, and social Sunday!

Terrible! I usually go to PetsMart but no appointments so I took my pup to get a nail trim here…read more One: this place stinks soo bad Two: they tried to trim his nails at the waiting area outside!! OUTSIDE three: they muzzled my 13 lb 1 1/2 years old pup WHICH THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED IN OTHER PLACES four: they got frustrated and grab my pup and took him to the back to handle business five: I heard my pup squealing and end up with a bloody quick. It's terrible! If you love your dog, do go!! I legit saw a dog running away from 5 other dogs trying to bite him but the groomers/ trainers did nothing.

Our dog was constantly pulling on the leash while walking, my wife's arm was always sore. We are amazed at the progress, we just completed a novice class. Hate leaving bad reviews, but... this class isn't worth the money…read more In short: Too much talk much and not enough practice. Very little learned. In details: Eric tells a lot of stories and then runs out of time to let us run thru the exercise to make sure everyone got the concept. He isn't very friendly or approachable. Yells at people when they do it wrong, but doesn't say what they are doing wrong. The training room is large, but there are 10-12 dogs in there, so it feels very crowded. The acoustics in the large space is terrible, hard to understand what he is saying for normal people, never mind older people or those that English isn't their 1st language. Ridiculous late policy, claims you can't be 5 minutes late, yet he talks so much and repeats the same thing so many times, doesn't really matter when you come in. But sure, it's nice when everyone is there on time. Doesn't allow any dog interaction, as such people aren't able to chat either, so you end up standing there for nearly 1 hour listening to him, do a bit of practice and back out the door. For 10 weeks of class, very few commands are learned. Recall class was very weak, not a major emphasis as advertised. This might be a personal preference, but some people might want to know. The training feel fear based, or as he might say respect based, not a positive type of training. Physical corrections are harsh. All in all, too expensive, little practice, too little learned, Eric is too harsh with people and dogs.
