DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. It's taken me over a year to…read morewrite this review, but I feel a responsibility to warn others. My first visit to this groomer with my dog seemed fine--she came home happy from a basic de-shedding appointment. But within 24 hours, everything changed. What should have been a routine grooming led to a nightmare: my dog developed post-grooming furunculosis, a severe bacterial infection that entered through her hair follicles and began eating away the skin on her back. Despite aggressive treatment and over $18,000 in vet bills, I had to say goodbye to my best friend just two days ago. This wasn't just bad luck--it was preventable. I reached out to the groomer multiple times to ask what products were used so my vet could understand what happened. I was ignored. The lack of accountability and transparency has been infuriating and heartbreaking. The trauma, pain, and grief my dog, myself, and my family have endured over the past year are beyond words. I feel robbed of the years we still should have had together. She was 65 lbs healthy and only 38 lbs by the end. The stress and pain she went through here sparked the end of it all. She came back confused, stressed... not wanting to eat, walk, play, or do anything. Please don't risk your pet's life. What happened to us started with one simple appointment. And it ended with unimaginable loss.

Our OG a groomer sadly closed her shop and never reopened. When we brought home our newest furbaby 10 months ago, instinctively, I took her for grooming to another spot where we used to take our last pup. The price had tripled, a lot had changed and there was no transparency with services or pricing. Needless to say, I never went back. I received a few recommendations and one of them came highly recommended by a friend and fellow trusted dog owner. This is how we arrived at Q Studio. Quaint little shop tucked away beside Roll Me Up Ice Cream and a hair salon on Main Street Markham. It is a small shop, but clean and well maintained. Our furbaby loves her visits to the shop. Her grooming is always neat and exactly what we discussed on her very first visit. They are very consistent with the quality of grooming and if it is going to take 2 hrs, they are very communicative with letting us know if she is almost done or may take a bit longer. Pricing is great for the services and no hidden costs or charges.
