This is absolutely THE best doggy daycare in the whole universe! They've recently expanded to a…read more6800+ sq ft area and it is dog-paradise for all those four-legged friends out there. Their flooring is rubber and is great for dogs because there's so much traction so that they can run and play. They have a large area for big dogs (Houndtown) and a large are for small dogs & pups (SmallVille). When it comes down to my pugs, I am absolutely neurotic and there are only a limited handful of people I trust to take care of my dogs. Doggieville has certainly made that list. Janine & her team are excellent and treat all their citizens with lots of love and care. My little LadyBug absolutely loves the place and every time we go there, she completely forgets that I exist and bounces her way into their play area. She loves the place and as soon as we exit the highway, she makes it known with her crazy pug screams, that we are approaching daycare. They also have a beautiful grooming area and a boutique carrying all kinds of high-quality foods and treats for dogs as well as toys, beds, and leashes. I have since moved back to Richmond Hill to work and unfortunately, I have yet to find as good of a doggy daycare as this. I occasionally work still in the Newmarket area and every time I do, I make sure that my little pug gets some time at DoggieVille! Two thumbs up and four paws up for DoggieVille!!!!!

Lexie is excellent with our dog, and is very patient with the special requests we give for his unique hair-style. We've given her photo references to refer to, and he is always happy as can be when I pick him up. She definitely goes the extra mile for her clientele to give them exactly what they want. I'm quite convinced that any less-than-stellar review of the services offered here, are due to dog owners who have not trained their animals properly. Good service from a groomer is a 2-way street. If your dog is ill-behaved and not obedient, you'll probably not be happy with the results of dropping them off with a stranger for hours at a time. Our dog is very well trained and easy to handle, and actually jumps up on the grooming table when we walk in. And he looks fantastic every time I pick him up. You just can't have a better indication of a good groomer than that...

We picked up our dog and she was in a very small cage in the back (our other groomer has a play area for the animals while they wait for their owners) she was wet, which bothered me because we were going to walk home that day as we live nearby. Her nails were still fairly long, I could hear them clicking on the floor. Also- she was shedding like crazy. The brush out was not very good. We paid for a bath, brush out and nail trim. The hair on her pads should have been trimmed as well but they weren't. There was also a bit of a fecal piece on her bum from a bowel movement that had not been tidied up. Very disappointing but made us appreciate our other groomer so much more. Sorry but maybe this place is great for dogs under 30lbs, but not for a husky.
