    Nice trimmed nails

I use the grooming salon to have my dogs nails trimmed and buffed. They always do a great job.

I have my dog's haircut and pick up a hookworm every once in a while for my bearded dragon. They have a lot of merchandise and I've always found the store clean. I like their app - I can schedule appointments for the haircuts - it's a convenience for sure.

Cars everywhere stopping to find out that PetSmart is closed AN HOUR AGO??

They close at SEVEN PM on Sunday?!?!! It's packed over here with people shopping for the holidays and these idiots are closed!

Photo doesn't do justice to how terrible this is. The wood expanded about 50% and formed these cracks in the side

I've frequented this store many times as I stock my multiple aquariums. A week and a half ago I purchased a tank + all the accessories. I set up the tank on my desk at work, the first 24 hours looked good, everything was operating correctly. Monday morning I walked into my office to find a tank just over half-full, and about a gallon of water ALL over my desk. Every office paper product within two feet of the tank had to be trashed, and the desk was badly warped. I now owe my employer over $600 due to the damage. I inspected the tank and found a crack near the bottom seam. I reboxed the tank to return the tank that same day. I explained the situation to the first employee who would talk to me, mentioning that the $30 tank they sold me had cost me $600 in damages. She passed me to a cashier to ring up my return and moved on to help at the next register. I explained my situation again, including the part about the $600 I now owe my employer. The cashier rang up my return and handed me my receipt. I'm thinking to myself "Really? Don't make me beg." I ask the cashier if if I should contact PetSmart corporate or the manufacturer, if there is some "make it right" program or procedure in place. She gives me this questioning look (I swear she was intentionally pretending like she didn't hear me the first time). I explain, again, about the damage this tank did to my office desk at work, and how I now owe my company for the damages. The cashier looks at the outside of the box briefly and tells me there doesn't appear to be a manufacturer warranty. If I want to submit an opinion, I can talk to her manager, and she points at the employee at the register next to us who happens to be the first person I talked to. She looks at us and asks what's up, like this is the first time she's hearing there is an issue (are the people who work here deaf??). I explain AGAIN about the situation, and who do I need to contact? Her response was something to the effect of "Gee, that sucks, too bad." They just kind of look at each other and there's this weird silence, and I can tell they just want me to leave. The manager turns away to help someone else. Mind you, I'm not a confrontational person. I never raise my voice, I hate drawing attention to myself, I hate to ask for things. I was not being, or trying to be difficult. I just wanted it made right. At this point I could see I was going to get nowhere. I felt so slighted and now anxious because I was being given the impression that I was inconveniencing then by being there. I took my receipt and told them I'd be taking my business elsewhere. Not a word further from them and they moved on to do other things. I walked out so mad I was shaking. I contacted PetSmart online because it was after their corporate business hours. I never received a response. Big box stores, little local retailers, airlines... its typical for businesses to show some gesture to make a crappy experience better. Usually it's through small discounts, coupons, whatever. It's never something that completely replaces or compensates whatever went wrong, but it shows customers, "hey, we acknowledge that experience or product sucked, let us make it up to you in this small way so you'll keep coming back and give us your business." I get that they can't help if the manufacturer sent them a faulty product, but they sold it me. In fact TopFin is like the flagship brand in their store. By selling a product, a retailer stands by the product they sell. I've worked in sales before, and if a customer wasn't 100% satisfied for ANY reason, I personally made some gesture to make it better. Because it's the right thing to do, and because I wanted to show them that I wanted their continued business. That old adage: A happy customer will bring you one more customer; an unhappy customer will lose you ten. I didn't expect anything big. I thought later, I would have been happy with just an apology and an offer to replace the tank itself (it was less than $30, I'm pretty sure they could've afforded it). Or even some help getting in touch with the manufacturer if they really didn't want to take any responsibility. Something. If there has been some demonstration that they valued me as a customer, it would have been made okay. Instead. I'm never shopping at any PetSmart ever again and I'll tell everyone I know about my experience and will encourage them to shop elsewhere. I know a big box shop like these guys don't care about losing business from little me, but maybe someone will read this and it will save them the headache of crappy products and crappier customer service. Of note, all the photos are after I mopped up all the water and threw away all the paper office products.

Do not bring your dog here. They knicked him and sent him to a pet er without letting us know after it happened. Go anywhere else.
