This is also about the disgusting way Petland has handled their ILLEGAL adoption of a bunny that…read morewas found. Let me be clear, there is no such thing as "working on it" and you are "in contact with the owner." Under New York State law, the owner of this bunny immediately contacted shelters and advertised about her lost bunny on numerous venues. Within a short while one of the rescuers on a particular Facebook page shared a post by another individual who found the bunny. He posted a picture of the bunny and said he was bringing the bunny to your facility. The owner of the bunny went to your store and was given the runaround - first being told they didn't know anything about it, then being told it was adopted out! The bunny's owner actually needed to call the police because your employees were being so UNHELPFUL! Under New York State law, when an animal is found EVERY EFFORT MUST BE MADE TO FIND THE OWNER. This includes notifying shelters, police, putting up flyers, etc. None of this was done by Petland. Within a few hours of the found bunny being dropped off, your people just gave it away! Not only didn't you try to find the owner, but you didn't have it checked by a vet! How do you know if the bunny was well? Your staff acted not only illegally, but totally irresponsibly and unethically! Furthermore, and now I am addressing Kristen, the manager, you need to get that bunny back. If necessary, not only refund any monies the "adopter" gave your staff, but get her another bunny at no charge to her. Perhaps even give her additional monies and some pet food. Whatever you need to do to rectify this situation must be done. Immediately. I promise you this, if the bunny's owner does not get her bunny back promptly, not only will we (and when I say we, I am talking about a plethora of animal lovers, activists, and rescuers) contact numerous media outlets until we get satisfaction; but I personally promise to contact the President and CEO of Petland with all the information about this "mistake" you've made including names, dates, and photographs.

Secondly the animals look like crap. They have over 40 goldfish in one 10 gallon tank which anyone who knows fish knows a 10 gallon can only hold about 10-12 fish. The reptiles are in extremely small tanks and they have some in completely wrong environments. The whole place is dark and discussing with floor tiles missing and lights flickering. To say I couldn't get out of that place fast enough is a huge understatement. AVOID AT ALL COST. ANY ANIMAL BOUGHT WILL DIE

If you are reading this, your search for dog training stops here. This is the place you need and…read morethey will change your life! This sounds a little over the top BUT I'm not lying. I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.
