Very good quality especially around the seams of the toys if you have dogs that like to defluff everything before they play with it. Prices are better in my opinion than petsmart, especially for the quality of the items you're getting. They also have the most beautiful collars and leashes. Unique prints, intricate threading ( also, bowties). They even have different leashes for running, swimming, etc. they have boots, rain jackets, life vests, literally anything and everything you could possibly need. I am a supporter of the store for months. But today just had me turn it around and say I won't come back here for a while till they refix customer services and the employees. I went in today to grab some food for my dogs as usually because I loved the store I like to purchase a few items. I came in no greeting just laughing employees looking at me as i came in. I usually look at sales before I get my regular food for my dogs. I was in there for about 10 mins or so. Just employees laughing on the ladder while I look around. About 8 mins in I decided I'm ready to pay. The lady went up to the register and automatically gave me a DEATH RUDE stare like she hated me!!! and just automatically scanned. No smile no nothing just rude stare. I told her I am a rewards member and had a coupon if she can look up my number. Rolled her eyes, rude said oooooooooh ok what's your number, still rude stare. Gave her my number and didn't say anything to me but my total. After I purchased she then gives receipt and said thanks I asked can Iget a bag for my items. Oh gawsh she had an attitude for that.i told her I can do it if she doesn't want too... she then grabs the food and puts it In the bag and rolls eyes rude stare. I usually ask for samples but I didn't because she is the one that always tells me we can't give too much samples. Which I know they have a lot, but for her to tell me she can't give customers samples is rude. Didn't want ask cause she look like she wasn't having it with me,Why bother. I honestly felt so attacked for just purchasing my dogs food. I feel that the store has become less helpful and more annoyed employees. I didn't want to come in here to ruin someone. But I love this store, and for me to take back my 5 star is sad. I hope the OWNER sees this, and rethinks about services to new and old customers. One is 13 years old and the other 8 months. Let's start with the 13 year old's haircut. I loved it. They did a great job. She usually has issues with her feet being messed with, but they were able to trim them. The 8 month old: great job. Except! They cut her ponytail. I've been growing her ponytail (top knot) since she was three months old. I specified not to touch her top knot and I was so disappointed when I picked her up. I know its just hair and it will grow back, but I even took her with a ponytail to trigger, the I'm sure busy, groomer not to touch it. I should have known that they were going to be too busy (6 dogs being checked in at 10am) and something was going to go wrong. They would have gotten a four star, but that mistake was just not good. These days Sergio is the groomer at the Tezel Rd location. He's patient and gentle and does a very nice job clipping and filing our dogs nails and trimming the hair between their paw pads. The price is very reasonable but they only take cash or checks. Sergio takes drop-ins for nail trims on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

I especially loved how the staff were patient with my excessive Q&A prior to bringing, Sir Winston in . With Winston, our experience has been staff making the mistake of assuming he is either a Siberian husky, therefore the mishandling or fear from his size begins. Planet Pet Spa, had him scheduled first thing in the morning, so he would experience minimal activity to ensure he could ease into his FIRST experience. My main focus was to have Sir Winston, deshedded, shampooed and dried. Not much, but with a 120 lb who can be reactive, I had anticipated this to be challenging. My biggest concern was the staff being able to handle my him when he didn't want to move (as he generally will sit down in protest if he doesn't want to go). Our groomer, Nazarene, at drop off was not even fazed by Winston's size. Which only reassured me that I had placed Winston in good hands. Upon picking Winston up, he was in good spirits and seemed to have had a good experience. I struggled with looking for a big dog groomer, and I'm so thankful that we found Planet Pet Spa and Nazarene. I highly recommend Planet Pet Spa and Nazarene, if you have a giant breed.
