Feels like a bait and switch to me. Oh and BTW, a good 30% of their pumps are always out of order. They no longer have a subway or a kitchen. The only thing they have besides prepackaged snacks are hotdogs. And those are usually overcooked. The restrooms are always dirty and poorly maintained. Do yourself a favor and visit the gas stations on exit 1 or 17/19

I am always too late to get their soups at 12-3AM unfortunately (I keep thinking about that pot pie soup to this day!). Their snack and candy aisle is always prepared with some tasty treats. Staff always seem buff and pleasant. Never tried their public restrooms so I can't share how they are here for being such a high traffic stop. At 2am- no teslas at the charging stations so it's a big contrast to during the day when the charging stations are usually a line a few cars back.

There's a grassy area for dogs right behind the string of chargers. The pavement can burn their paws in summer daytime hours, so pick up your dogs and put them on the grass instead of letting them jump out. The grassy area is larger than my picture shows and even has a shade tree in one section. You will probably notice the standard odors of a gas station as well as dog excrement, although the RV dump station might be to blame.

Given the traffic of the truckers and the folks staying at the Best Western, it can be pretty busy. Also the path for cars can be narrow once you come in. The downside are the drivers not paying attention and two near misses for us. So be careful and assume there are some distracted drivers when you enter, as folks race to get back onto the I-10. Quartzite on the other hand, has two dozen plus super-chargers near a Carl Jr and can be serene by comparison.

Turns out the tow truck driver took us to an unlicensed mechanic who wrongfully told us that my car was a total loss and tried to convince me to sell it to them for nothing. Luckily, I decided to have Ace towing take it ~300 miles back to my personal mechanic who found a way to save it by- wait for it-REPLACING THE BATTERY! I ended up having to file a claim with the California bureau of automotive repair to get the $1500 I spent on towing and diagnostics from the unlicensed mechanic they brought me to. Perhaps this was just a bad judgement call on the driver's part and not a purposeful attempt to collude with the mechanic and scam me out of a perfectly good vehicle... I'm not sure. But regardless of their intent, I think it's highly irresponsible of them to suggest and tow me to an unlicensed mechanic.

Founds myself with a flat rear tire on my motorcycle about 30 miles east of Quartzite, AZ on US10…read morearound 4pm. Called AAA who connected me with a dispatcher (Eric I believe) from A Toe Truck. Long story short, I wanted to get to Goodyear, AZ (~70 miles) but the problem was they couldn't tow me beyond Tonopah. In order to get me to Goodyear they need to arrange and coordinate a 'relay' where another tow truck would meet us and they would transfer my bike to the new company who could tow me the rest of the way. Eric was MORE than communicative and answered my calls looking for updates and progress. After 3+ hours and they hadn't been able to arrange a relay it was pitch black, cold, and we (my buddy stayed with me) had a hard time seeing anything other than the non-stop whizzing of cars/semi's rolling past. Eric sent a truck as a 'safety tow' to get me to Quartzite to spend the night in a hotel so I was safe and they would work on arranging a relay tow first thing in the morning. Erick coordinated with AAA so I could have the safety tow and AAA would still allow my tow (~100 miles from Quartzite) under my AAA membership. Wanting to avoid the relay experience from the previous night I opted for a tow to the Harley-Davidson dealer in Yuma first thing the next morning. All in all I dealt with 2 dispatchers (Erick/Jasmine) and 2 drivers (Tyrone/Javier) and they were ALL courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and showed the utmost in patience and attitude to me and my buddy throughout the entire ordeal. While I'm disappointed with AAA and this whole 'relay' concept and that they couldn't authorize an exception to provide A Toe Truck compensation given the time/safety of the situation, as a two provider A Toe Truck is top notch! Thank you!
