But if you're looking for gasoline that doesn't have the highest taxes in the nation for fuel (I'm looking at you, Golden State), you absolutely aren't going to make it to Tucson without eating Slim Jims and washing them down with some Camel Crushes and a coffee... or you want to see what all the rhubarb is about with this place's black toilets... well, come on in, Slim. We got gas here, disregarded the Subway (we have a family rule: Don't order from Subways attached to gas stations... it's a time-tested rule, friend), laughed at the shelf of blue jeans for truckers and passers-through. Yes, you can buy a 4 ft. Firestick replacement antenna here for your CB radio, too, Good Buddy. Numbers... If you're the type to linger near a desert gas station; well, you'll have company. There were several mouth-breathing, slack-jawed yokels sort of hanging out with seemingly nowhere to be anytime soon. But for the rest of us with hotel reservations and trying to check in with enough time to hit the hotel jacuzzi... catch you on the flip.

I've tried using multiple pumps and when paying with card, the pump will not register the 87 grade when trying to select it. If you pay inside, it will allow the lower grade to be selected. Feels like a bait and switch to me. Oh and BTW, a good 30% of their pumps are always out of order. They no longer have a subway or a kitchen. The only thing they have besides prepackaged snacks are hotdogs. And those are usually overcooked. The restrooms are always dirty and poorly maintained. Do yourself a favor and visit the gas stations on exit 1 or 17/19

Men's Bathroom has plenty of urinals and toilets for use. In addition to snacks, beverages, and sundry items, this Shell also sells apparel, knives, samurai swords, cigars, and other non typical gas station items. Whenever I travel to Phoenix from Southern California, I utilize this special Shell.

Along with the typical convince store food, AZ Travel Plaza has such restaurants as Fat Burger, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Juice it Up.

Located in the same parking plaza as AZT Mart (which has clean bathrooms, Juice it Up Store, burger place and snacks and beverages. ). If you have an adapter you can use this charging station even if you have a non Tesla brand electric vehicle. Costs at this location varies during peak and low peak times but with the 20 stalls that are covers this is one of the better places to get juice for your electric car.

The grassy area is larger than my picture shows and even has a shade tree in one section. You will probably notice the standard odors of a gas station as well as dog excrement, although the RV dump station might be to blame.

The engine was running, but the truck wouldn't move. We pulled over to the shoulder of a very busy highway and started calling tow companies--most quoted a four-hour wait due to the holiday weekend. Then we reached A2Z Towing. What a difference! Despite being busy, they quoted just a one-hour wait--and showed up even sooner. Not only were we driving an extremely large truck, but we were also towing a trailer loaded with a Polaris, which meant we needed an exceptionally large tow rig to handle the job. They arrived fully equipped, with the right-sized equipment, and from the moment we spoke to them, they made us feel at ease--even as we waited in a stressful spot with traffic rushing by. Founds myself with a flat rear tire on my motorcycle about 30 miles east of Quartzite, AZ on US10…read morearound 4pm. Called AAA who connected me with a dispatcher (Eric I believe) from A Toe Truck. Long story short, I wanted to get to Goodyear, AZ (~70 miles) but the problem was they couldn't tow me beyond Tonopah. In order to get me to Goodyear they need to arrange and coordinate a 'relay' where another tow truck would meet us and they would transfer my bike to the new company who could tow me the rest of the way. Eric was MORE than communicative and answered my calls looking for updates and progress. After 3+ hours and they hadn't been able to arrange a relay it was pitch black, cold, and we (my buddy stayed with me) had a hard time seeing anything other than the non-stop whizzing of cars/semi's rolling past. Eric sent a truck as a 'safety tow' to get me to Quartzite to spend the night in a hotel so I was safe and they would work on arranging a relay tow first thing in the morning. Erick coordinated with AAA so I could have the safety tow and AAA would still allow my tow (~100 miles from Quartzite) under my AAA membership. Wanting to avoid the relay experience from the previous night I opted for a tow to the Harley-Davidson dealer in Yuma first thing the next morning. All in all I dealt with 2 dispatchers (Erick/Jasmine) and 2 drivers (Tyrone/Javier) and they were ALL courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and showed the utmost in patience and attitude to me and my buddy throughout the entire ordeal. While I'm disappointed with AAA and this whole 'relay' concept and that they couldn't authorize an exception to provide A Toe Truck compensation given the time/safety of the situation, as a two provider A Toe Truck is top notch! Thank you!
