This is now a Shell gas station. I've been going for a few years now and they seem to be getting worse. I've tried using multiple pumps and when paying with card, the pump will not register the 87 grade when trying to select it. If you pay inside, it will allow the lower grade to be selected. Feels like a bait and switch to me. Oh and BTW, a good 30% of their pumps are always out of order. They no longer have a subway or a kitchen. The only thing they have besides prepackaged snacks are hotdogs. And those are usually overcooked. The restrooms are always dirty and poorly maintained. We were on our way home to Atlanta 9 weeks ago and stopped here for the lowest priced gasoline in the area. There were lots of pumps, so we didn't have to wait to fill up. Went into the retail space after filling up. Why would they put racks of clothes in the entrance way, crowding up all that space? There weren't any fast food places on the left side near the restrooms, but there was a table with chairs in the big open space, and it looked like someone was cleaning out what was formerly the fast food areas. Went to the men's restroom ... this was THE DIRTIEST restroom. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, with the floor wet and dirty, lots of used paper towels overflowing the trash cans, and the place smelled like urine and poop. This is my regular stop to refuel on the way to Phoenix or Tucson on the 10 or on my way back. If you drive out of LA with a full tank and stop here you will not need to stop again before Tucson or Phoenix. Likewise, if you drive out of Phoenix and stop here, you will not need to refuel before getting home to LA. If you tell them that you are from California and are tired of the Bastards in Sacramento with all their Environmental Regulations, they will take off approximately $1.00 per gallon! For me on my small car I saved $10.00 each way! That's real money! They have a zillion pumps. They have a large strip of car parking after you fuel with easy garbage dump. They have a Subway at this station that makes a pretty good Turkey Sub. They also have a Truck Stop Store and the usual convenience store things/drinks. If you're wondering why am I reviewing a random gas station in the middle of nowhere, it's because if you have pets, you'll thank me for this. This is THE gas station to go to from your travels from California to Arizona (or the other way around). First, gas prices are ridiculous in California. Second, SO many dog yards for your pups to stretch their legs & potty. This gas station is a last chance opportunity to get gas in Arizona before entering California, so it is convenient as gas prices are at least $.50 lower in Arizona. With that said there are a few problems with the location, If you want a receipt you need to go inside to get it, so people just leave their cars in front of the pumps and take their sweet time inside. The hoses are short, so you need to pull up with the gas time next to the pump or you may not get the hose in to the tank People go in both directions, longer hoses would eliminate the need to drive in both direction and make for a smoother and easier fueling operation But you save 80 cents a gallon on gas. read more

As you are coming into Arizona on I-10, this is a great spot to fill up with cheap gas. It is the 2nd gas stop after the border, but the gas is usually 5 or 10cents cheaper. You can also save 10 or 20cents by using your Vons/Safeway gas credits, for really cheap gas! They have lots of pumps, and the overhang is tall enough for motorhomes and big rigs. They have a trucker's lounge, so if you want to wash off the road dust, you can shower, too. The trucker's lounge is in a large building that houses the usual quickie mart and souvenirs. There is a Quizzno's and a pizzeria as well. The bathrooms are large and clean, and they even have a car/truck wash out back. read more

Well if you are heading to CA from AZ you may want to fill up here before diesel is $1.50-$2.00 more once you cross into the over taxed state of California. Love the gas prices, it's very spacious and restrooms for these long desert drives! Only downfall would be, the gas pumps take a very long time to pump gas and also to go through a transaction. Our first stop when driving from CA to AZ. Gas is way cheaper than in CA, there are loads of pumps and the car fill up is on the opposite side of the market away from the trucks. This location has not been a Chevron station for over one year. To get a receipt one must stand in a long line at the counter. The restrooms are very dirty and not maintained as expected. Lots of pumps are not working so look for yellow tape wrapped around the pump handle. To summarize, this is NOT a Chevron station and it appears to be improperly maintained. read more

For many years, my family would stop at this station for gas, bathroom, leg stretch, and snacks. It has been MANY years since the bathrooms have been anything other than gross and disgusting. Everytime I am here, there is absolutely no evidence that the bathrooms have been serviced in hours, if at all. Stinky stalls, toilet paper (sometimes used!) on the floor, no seat covers, no paper towels, etc. No smell of any cleaning type product (even air freshener) in the air. Outside of the bathrooms, the floor of the eating area looks like it hasn't seen a mop or broom in the same amount of time as the bathrooms. It makes wonder about the cleanliness behind the Subway counter... The store side of the station is much better (even if the floor doesn't look like it has been mopped).
