I suggested to my niece that she get her bigger desk here. She agreed! After browsing through the sales items, cute plushies, kitchen gadgets, and interesting displays, we used the clean restroom and loaded the shopping cart. My niece looked up the gaming desk's number and found the aisle where the box was located. We rolled the flat to the check out line and while we waited, I started scanning the UPC codes on the IKEA app. We skipped the line and went to pay! We even got a free large blue bag for self-scanning our purchases! Yippee! The trick was to get the $79.99 desk into our rental car. Erin, the helpful employee at the checkout station, reassured us that we could return the desk if we couldn't fit it into the car... even after we took it out of the box. We had to try. The price of the desk was great! It wasn't available online. If we had it delivered, we'd be charged Washington sales tax whick would defeat the purpose. There was no other option. We took the desk out of the box in the light rain, removed the packing materials, placed the desk legs in the trunk of the car, and maneuvered the desk top so that one corner touched the glass of the rear window and the sides rested against the back of my driver's seat (which was pushed all the way forward) and my niece's seat was pushed down as flat as it could go. She was still able to take a nap on the desktop for the 2.5 hour drive! LOL! It sure was a memorable adventure which was super productive and promoted teamwork, positive attitude, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills!

Also, the kid area was entirely closed today. But generally I'm disappointed as my 9-year-old and 2-year-old want to go but only the 6-year-old is the correct size. This is discriminatory toward boys generally as they tend to get bigger quicker. You should allow any kid who wants to play (and not be closed on a random Sunday!).

We have been putting off writing a review because we wanted to share pictures after completing our backsplash. Neither of us write reviews very often, but this job was such a huge success so we needed to give them props. We are just going to list off what we liked... 1. Our kitchen is larger than a standard kitchen where all the other shops quoted needing 2 slabs to get the job done. Budget was the only shop that recommended using a Jumbo slab for our kitchen which saved us $$. 2. All we had to do is text Ian a picture of our kitchen layout to get a quote. We had a quote that same day. 3. Phone conversations were great! We had some questions about the edges and the free kitchen sink size (30" vs 32") they were including and they were responsive. 4. Easy process to get the ball rolling. All we had to do to get job going was put down 50% of the cost to have measurements done the following week, then they were out installing the countertops 2 weeks after that. 5. They showed up to install when they said they would. We were told installers would show up between 8-9am and they arrived at 8:15am and were done with our install about 4 hours later. 6. Cleanliness was exceptional - they even put cloth down to protect our flooring. 7. Our experience was so great and have been telling our friends about them if they ever need new countertops. 8. We are going to copy and paste this review into Google as well to get the word out. The new owner delivered our cabinets to the stain shop and they notified us that the cabinet doors had been made out of at least three different types of wood. We did not order different wood. The owner took those pieces back and remade them however the wood was still all out of different lots and the stain company said that there was no way to make them match with stain. Jerry at Eagle has done nothing but try to railroad us into accepting cabinets that do not match. He has told us that it was our fault for not ordering an upgrade which we were never offered but based on speaking with the supplier, a consistent lot should never be offered as an upgrade and should always be standard operating procedure. Jerry from Eagle has asked us for an additional $4,000 in order to finish the project and make the face fronts all match. We are already $11,500 out of pocket and have zero confidence in this company. I do not know anyone that would want to give this company more money after all of the mistakes. I also do not know anyone that would want to spend $24,000 on kitchen cabinets that did not match.
