I took in my white 1 year old Husky, and she come out looking brand new! I made an appointment two weeks ago, and went in on the Saturday I booked. It turns out they organize their appointments in an old, raggedy binder. As the associate was flipping through through loose papers trying to locate my name, they couldn't find me. So I wound up aggravated and resorting to a rescheduled appointment. Thankfully, I asked to get an estimate (which is based on her weight) so we went to the back. This woman who was doing the washing offered to still take her in that day. I appreciated that. I dropped her off at 10:00 am and picked her up at 4:30 pm, which is normal. The results outweighed the conundrum. I hope there's an upgrade on their appointment scheduling before I go back. I recommend double-checking that you're in the schedule before you go in. read more

My son bought some hamsters from there and they just threw them in a box and handed it to my son. We ended up giving them to Petco who took them in and really cares about animals. Today my son bought an Iguana from there and he said they grabbed it by the tail and threw it in a box. No instruction but gave him a lightbulb to buy. The Iguana didn't last a day. He became listless so again we took him to Petco and the lady there tried to bring him back to life but he ended up dying. My son is very heartbroken. This place needs to be shut down because they should not own a pet store if they don't like pets. At Petco you can see how they truly love animals. read more

They have cheap, good prices, and great brands. Only thing is their small crickets for bearded dragons are EXTREMELY tiny, like micro crickets but my beardy is a baby so she eats them all fast! Oh, and they have free dog food samples if you purchase something, otherwise the bags are a $1 each. I like this place. I called them up to ask if they had any extra small harnesses for my new little white yorkie and they picked up on the 2nd ring and gave me the details on the material and price. Pros Its a small business owned most likely by the asian man and guess what? Hes super nice! They carry high and popular quality products at a decent price. Not that typical pet store that marks up 1000000% no poop bags for $20, more like $5. That's what we pet owners like. To top it off, they also will include a cash back incentive! Great customer service!! I was referred by a friend and I'm very pleased with the decision I made. I'm 40wks pregnant and I haven't been able to take him to the groomer thru out my pregnancy. So my maltipoo was a mess, he had fleas, matted hair and in need of a deep clean. The groomer Vicky was very friendly, patient and extremely detailed. She understand my desires and accepted my request. She made my first time experience wonderful. I had time to wait so I walked around for 2hrs got my exercise for the day. The prices were reasonable $35 grooming fee, $5 matted hair fee, $5 flea bath= $55.00 Great experience!! I will definitely return to her again for grooming and maybe other pet items. read more

Lost A Customer today. The worker named Justin needs to be fired, he is cancer for the company. Because there was a long line which I waited in to purchase worms, and I did and paid. Justin tells me he will get my worms soon. Justin allows two more customers to pay and leave with there items purchased, while I wait. Justin calls a third customer when I ask "Are you going to get my worms?" Justin come to get my worms apologizes to the customers waiting by saying "sorry I have to deal with ignorant people". Ignorant after I left two more customers past working on his third, with a line of 5 more people. This whole time their are two employees. I guess paperwork before people here. I waited and was called ignorant. Justin tells customers as I am leaving he is not scared of no-one. Not once did act if I wanted to be physical with him. Pure ignorance on his behalf. Instead of saying I apologize sir, let me get the worms you have been waiting on, I'm ignorant to the rest of the customers with a simple raise of the hand and question of are you going to get my worms. I even told him I understood his frustration. Justin needs to get better people skills/customer service skills. I will also be contacting the owners directly Andrew.. The owner is so nice! They even have a loyalty card program :) It's a little on the steep side for accessories... They don't carry a huge selection of dog or cat food, but they have tons of supplies and food for reptiles, fish, and turtles. They always have cute puppies here, but I hate seeing them in those cages :'( It's a great place to go to if you're on your way home and you don't feel like waiting in line at the grocery store for pet food. read more

I brought my dog to this place. My dog is a rescue. I do not know what type of environment they place dogs in, but my dog has never been the same after I picked her up. I took my puppy here for a wash and cut. I spoke to the the guy groomer before I left my puppy. I said just cut the body not the face, he cut all my puppy hair off. Are these 5star reviews a joke? Took my 1yr old Maltipoo here and what I picked up I was not expecting. They shaved my dog to a fucking 10 after I clearly asked to NOT shave him. My dog was EXTREMELY nervous at pickup & he was crying the whole ride home. If you have a poodle type dog PLEASE DO NOT BRING IT HERE,all they know is SHAVING not GROOMING. They only do what makes their job easier. My dog didn't even smell good when I picked him up like if they didn't even bathe him. It's insane the amount of irresponsible people working there. I regret putting my dog in that situation since he can't defend himself & the lady at pick up tried to say that my dog was growling at her and made my husband go into the room and take out my puppy from the cage. That just shows how unprofessional this place really is. My dog is a very friendly puppy that doesn't hurt a soul & loves being groomed. I come here for all my pet needs. The manager, Daniel, is very helpful and knowledgable. The staff is great as well. I've groomed my dog with both groomers, Dora and Marvin, and they both do exactly what you ask for which is hard to come by these days. They're definitely better than Petco or Petsmart. This place seriously makes me so sad. I only go here every once in a while for desperate measures when I can't reach any other place in time. It's so small and stuffy, which usually wouldn't be a problem with me, but you add on the poor condition in which they keep the animals here? It's such a sad place for them. The fish tanks are dusty with webs and the animals such as bunnies and birds are kept near the front door, which is better open space for them, but what gets to me the most is when they have puppies. They're kept in these small, dark wooden cubbies that seems like there's lack of proper air ventilation. Hardly any toys or comfort to the puppies. Whenever I have seen puppies there, they look miserable and scared, sitting in their empty square. read more

Is there a way you can rate ZERO STARS? Yelp should really invest in a zero star option because this place definitely deserved it. I got there almost 30 minutes after they opened. First thing I realized walking into the store was the smell...I've NEVER smelled anything like that! Then here comes an employee. He came to me almost immediately. I asked about feeders for my ball python. So he goes to show me the feeders, but then tells me how beautiful I am...um yeah not why I'm here. I had already talked to the breeder I got my baby girl from and he told me what to get, what size, and a mouse that I could use to scent her rat. This guy tried to persuade me to get the wrong size rat for my girl, and told me that frozen was going to have less vitamins than live because frozen "freezes the vitamins and nutrients out". Huh?! So here I am, confused. So to take my confusion away I asked to see the ball pythons they have in store...3 in a tank. I was done...had to escape as quick as possible! The conditions they have the hamsters and the Guinea pigs angered me. As a previous hamster owner, I learned how to take care of them and this place does the bare minimum for them. First off, their cages are way too small for them, multiple are placed in one cage and that is very unhealthy for them! Some of them also do not have wheels!! Hamsters need wheels!! This is the best pet store ever. They have super friendly staff and the owner is really nice too. They have everything you need from fish to reptiles and your furry friends. They also have good deals on certain items so it's always good to check back to see what's available. And since they have a rewards card that gives a certain percent back, you can't help but to shop a little more! I came to this spot because my friend introduced me and I also needed a new place to buy feeder rats for my pet snake. I used to go to buzz pet and feed, but they were too far and they actually moved recently, so I needed a new place to find some food. And to my knowledge, this place existed and I always passed it when I went to the 99 cent store next door. Super convenient to be able to drive a few miles and get what I need instead of driving a distance. The prices are reasonable as well and they give advice on what the snake should be eating at certain lengths and stages. It's really helpful knowing because sometimes I might be underfeeding or overfeeding. I also want to point out their walk in grooming service. I was kind of skeptical about coming in to this groomer because my dog has never been to the groomers so I would want her experience to be a good one. I went in after going to a few other places and I was completely blown away by the results. my little white maltipoo (who was brown and raggedy) and she came out super white and beautiful and clean cut! She looked so amazing and smelled really great. And the bonus was that it seemed like the employees really cared about her and I tip my hat to the groomer. She did an excellent job and I was super happy with the results. It was worth coming by to try out the grooming spot and I will definitely be coming back for each time my dog needs a grooming. Overall I would have to say that is one of my favorite pet stores ever and I happily stand by it. read more

This is a sad place! I walked in and had to walk out! Kittens in a crammed cage with zero food and barely any water! Also they are in a metal cage that has metal bars on the bottom so they cannot walk without their little paws getting stuck in between. Come on put a piece of cardboard or something on the bottom! Today I walked in to look at the new remodeled store and what I saw was very devastating. First, there was a dead iguana in its tank. Second, a poor little dog was very thirsty and the staff wasn't providing any water for the dog. The poor dog had a little hamster water tank, which is clearly NOT for bigger animals to drink water out of. Lastly, the tanks are very small for fish. They have like 50 fishes in one small tank. I feel very bad for the animals there who are not being properly taken care of by staff who are there just to collect a check. read more

3 hours to groom my kitten and she's still shedding fur all over the place. 3 hours to wash and brush a cat??? Come on man!!! Terrible service, dirty store, I do NOT recommend this place. They took my kitten and put her in a cage for who knows how long before they actually groomed her and that's WITH an appointment. I'll never return to this establishment. I saw tanks that had different species of reptiles from different ecological systems sharing space together. The fish tanks are small and filthy and over stocked. Don't bring your dog to this store if he's/she's 90lbs or more. I took my German Shepard in today he's 93lbs . And they wanted to charge me $100. When usually they charged me between $75-$90 depending what I'm asking to do for him. The lady just went to straight $100 even without me asking what I wanted to do. What I wanted was to bathe him, trim the end tips on the back of his thighs that was all. I had to call to see if he was ready. I called around 5pm. I dropped him off at 9:45am. When I came to pick him up he looked and smelled exactly the same. He was still biting myself and scratching himself continuously like when he is dirty. Only difference was he smelled a bit like lavender for like 5mins. This ain't the first time something was off about him, when I picked him up from this store.Waste of time and waste of money.I know what's the smell of the spray of lavender is, because I have a bottle of the spray. I have 2 bearded dragons named Larry and Godzilla that I did not purchase here but wish I did! I come in at least twice a month for super worms and crickets and I absolutely LOVE the loyalty card program. I also had 2 turtles (Turbo and Turbolina) that I could no longer keep and I donated them to the shop where they sold in less then a month! I always ask for the crickets without any cardboard because i hate reaching in to remove it, I do not like insects! They tease me but always provide exactly what I need!
