Excellent service from knowledgeable staff. Prices are a bit high but staff can't help for that. Good experience regardless.

I really really like this Petland location! All of the staff working here are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I've had them point out promotions that I missed as well as recommend alternate products when I haven't been completely satisfied. Also, I know it's just a little thing but they always make an effort to grab the door for me when I'm carrying out huge bags of litter and timothy hay. It's a small gesture but it really does make me feel like they actually care about their customers. Reasons for not giving them 5 stars? They don't have the best selection of small animal supplies. They have lots of food varieties and toys but they're often out of larger bags of hay and the rabbit litter here is quite expensive compared to other stores I've shopped at. I'm also not a huge fan of how some of their animals (mostly rabbits and guinea pigs) are in cages that people can reach into. It would really be better if these animals couldn't be touched without having a staff member present (e.g. completely behind glass) like some other stores have them. read more

Regular customer with 4 different dogs over the years. Bought a collar without having the dog with me. Returned with receipt. Was charged a 20% restocking fee. Told the manager she had just lost a customer and never went back. read more

Love shopping here. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, there are buckets of crickets instead of having to hunt someone down to get them out of a tank, and they have the only cat litter my picky buggers like. The bug tub punch card type thing is great too. read more

The staff is nice. I look for the leash for my extra large dog and the staff go out of their way to help me. There aren't that much variety of product available but the staff there are very knowledgeable and you can count on them to answer any question. I mean literally any question I can't convert pound to kg and they even find out for me hahahaha. The leash selection is nice and they will give you an honest answer of what's work and what is not which is decent. Will come back again! read more

So um. Been buying fish around town for a long time. Seems that all the ones I loose are from petland. Customer service is good. I think a bit better care of the water would help. read more

Terrible customer service if returning dead animals. I bought 6 fish from them & the next day 1 was dead. I took it back & kept getting pushed aside for customers who were buying items. Eventually I was helped. The replacement fish died that same night. I took that one back & was pushed aside again. By the end of that week all 6 fish were dead. I replaced them with 6 fish from petsmart. It's been 3 months and all the petsmart fish are doing great. I also had to stop taking my dog inside cuz the staff wouldn't leave her alone. It's one thing to acknowledge my dog & give her a quick pet but to call it & ask her if she can speak when I was training her was annoying. I asked one staff member to stop calling my dog but she said "oh...it's ok" then continued to call her. Ummm...no its not which is why I asked you to stop. This happened with a few staff members. Each one claimed it was OK & kept calling her & getting her overly excited after I ask them to stop. I got frustrated dropped the items I was there to buy on a shelf & left. I refuse to step foot in that store any more. read more
