    Playing with the puppies was a great experience to handle different types of dog breeds in one setting. The puppies were well displayed, cared for, and all on a routine play and eating schedule. The store reps are all knowledgeable in the different dog breeds and shares insight into how the puppies are bred, tested, and fielded to be brought into their stores. The pricing of the puppies are fair, they come with a store warranty, and are required for them to get health insurance. The warranty covers unexpected illnesses, death, and anything not the result of actions on the owners part. They replace the dog if the puppy passes. The honest truth is you pay all costs out of pocket and Kanguroo reimburses you. The loan financing option was fast and the apr was a low rate. The puppy comes with a whole health folder filled with their medical records, a recommended veterinary clinic, and behavioral lessons. The puppy comes with a whole crate, 3 month supply of dry and wet food, puppy pads, supplements: a multivitamin, peanut butter probiotic, meal mixers, potty spray, potty cleaner, hip and joint power. The puppies are setup with Highland Animal Clinic in Henderson. Petland covers the cost of the spay/neuter without having to pay up front.

    I really enjoyed going here and meeting the store bird, Redd, who is a 3 year old scarlet macaw. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Don't go there for any serious pet supplies. There's only betta fish, none of the fish meds I was in need of and very few cat toys. I think the focus of the store is more about selling animals (puppies, a kitten, cockatiels, conures, hamsters, bettas, ferrets, a few lizards and guinea pigs. My favorite part was holding the macaw and getting to pet it.

    I can't really say anything bad about this place, but then again - I didn't purchase anything from here, my friends' and i just stopped in to play with some puppies before we went to Walmart. We walked in and there was already a handful of people inside also inquiring about puppies and playing with them in the little closed section areas where they allow the dogs to play freely. You basically walk-in and ask one of the workers to bring the puppy of choice that you want to play with. There's no time limit or payment required to play with the cute puppies, so if you're ever looking for something to do and kill time come in and play with some cute puppies, that you probably can't afford - lol, that's what we did. The cutest puppy that I loved was $3200; cute golden doodle... LOVE! I guess the only downfall about this place is the smell when you walk in. It's a strong vomit/poop/urine smell which smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in. So if you're sensitive to smell, watch out! *wink.

    These people sell sick dogs. I bought a puppy not knowing this stores reputation. They showed me all the paperwork how she was in perfect health...... I took her to the vet the next day. She has a disease that affects her knee caps where they float around she also tested positive for a fecal matter disease that is transferable to humans and I have been dealing with that since the day I got her and it has not gone away even taking her to another vet And many rounds of treatment she was to be my emotional support animal I am so disgusted shame on you Petland you are horrible awful people and deserve to be shut down it's bad enough that you could buy animals that are treated so horribly but that she would also trick people. Where is the zero stars button

    I have purchased a total of five dogs from Petland and two Guinea pigs. All of my experiences have been wonderful from start to finish. They were easy to work with and thorough throughout the purchase process. The staff is always readily available and helpful anytime I go in to the store to pick up supplies and food. I have recommended family and friends to shop at Petland. My sister in law, parents, and two close friends have all walked away with happy, healthy puppies that are still doing well to this day.

    They do not honor medical exemptions. They also have no other way to pay. The cashier wasn't understanding or kind. It is also a puppy mill.

Tried calling store over 15 times that day.. said call couldn't be completed... since the puppy was financed, the finance company had to give me the name and number of the owner...Richard Pena... I left him a message... was ignored... I finally emailed them and got a call back... lady was repugnant at best! Rude and smirky... stating that I signed for the puppy and it's mine... she insisted on overpowering the conversation..that wasn't going to happen with me... so she stated that since I'm not letting her speak, ( to reiterate how it's now my problem I have a dog with genetic reproductive issues...) that she was hanging up. She hung up. Then she texted me to read my contract and invited me to reach out to the Nevada advocacy. I needed no invite.. I will be filing a complaint with all gov entities and will be filing a chargeback for the nearly $3,000.00 they took from me. This issue was easily identifiable if the puppy had been seen by a reputable vet. If they had disclosed the matter up front, that also would have been avoidable. Now, I cannot breed this puppy ... see screenshot of their text vs our vet medical notes! They absolutely do not care! This place needs to be shut down! Shame on them! Hope they are ready to deal with their unethical business practices! And they will not be keeping my money. Oh .. and the puppy has kennel cough and they insisted it didn't and their vet confirmed it didn't! They need a new vet... apparently other reviews here share similar " kennel cough " issues! They need a visit from the State of Nevada....or perhaps the local news stations as well! Update; Aug 11, 2025 they refunded me most of my money... I paid a small fee... I closed the account... then Aug 13, 2025 they rebilled what they credited ... they are scammers... finance company is now investigating this malicious fraud! Shame on them! Was hoping to update everyone that it's all settled, but these guys are something else!

They needed his rabies verification so I popped into Banfield next door on my way in and they printed out the info so I could give that to the groomer. They were very sweet. There were a few other dogs getting trims when we got there. They took him straight back and said they would call in a couple hours to pick up. When I left him there I just walked over to the cashier at Pet smart to pay for the grooming and showed my receipt when I picked him up. It was easy peasy. If it's your first visit they give you a discount. That was cool! When I picked him up he looked pretty and smelled fresh and fruity. I also love to shop at Petsmart because they have a variety of supplies. I enjoy the pet costumes collars and harnesses. They carry crates and beds and bunny supplies and reptile supplies as well. All the things. There is always something on sale. They have a pet hotel, too. I recommend this store. Check it out!

    This review is specific to their grooming services, the grooming services team, and my experience…read moreacross three visits. It is my belief that your satisfaction with your dog's grooming is dependent on who you book with here. My puppy has been cared for by Gio G., Billy W., and Brandy M. In my experience with these three different individuals, I have no complaints about their customer service nor do I have any complaints about their work with my puppy. They each did a pleasant job, our interactions have been straightforward, and my puppy was picked up each time with no concerns. While I have not had a bad experience, I can affirm the concerns other reviews have mentioned regarding customer service and some members of the team lacking in a positive attitude, seemingly not wanting to work. Apart from Gio, Billy, and Brandy--my interactions with and observations of other employees within grooming services have lacked in customer service and were generally unfriendly. For example, in one instance, I could tell that a member of the grooming services team was a new hire. A colleague (potentially leadership, I am unsure) was rough in tone and short in helpfulness with this new employee's questions and experience in trying to assist my family and me. The new hire was doing the best possible with the minimal given from their fellow team member. I found this to be unnecessary and unkind. Another example was one I encountered recently. A groomer working with a dog asked who I was booked with, and I answered with the name of the groomer I saw online. Upon hearing the name I replied with, she looked into the system as she unenthusiastically said that the groomer I booked with called out. She then found my appointment in their system and looked at me to say, as if annoyed, that I was actually booked with another groomer. I stared back at her blankly as if this was supposed to mean something to me. She then went to get the groomer. First, if the groomer I booked with called out--I still have an appointment. The friendly customer service thing to do would be to inform me of the situation, check the system, and confirm who would instead be helping me today, while reassuring that my substitute groomer would do just as excellent of a job. Second, the groomer I booked with and the system changing the groomer based on absence has happened to me before. I derive two things from this--the system changes the groomer without alerting me and that this individual annoyed with me clearly does not know the capacity of their own system. This is not a problem, because she is in grooming services and not technology, but simply being helpful by doing your job and with a good attitude would make for great business. Lastly, and again, I have seen other groomers be coarse and uninterested. I have seen it enough to where I question bringing my puppy back, because it seems some groomers do not know how to treat others and I am convinced that they are just trying to get through their workday. I understand that their job is not easy and can be taxing, so I am very grateful for their work and the time they put into caring for our pets in a way that we are not all skilled nor trained to. However, the general lack of good customer service and lack of warmth towards others are discourteous and concerning in this line of work. If it were not for the good experiences I had with Gio, Billy, and Brandy--this rating would have been just one star. With that being said, I recommend being thoughtful and intentional with the selection of your groomer and really considering where you want to give your business, because we are trusting these people with our fur babies and you want to be confident about that decision.
