I first started coming here when I was a college student in my early 20s. Back then, I lived only about 5 or 10 minutes away, and my skin was honestly a mess. I had a lot of acne, whiteheads, blackheads, acne scars, basically everything. My skin was one of the things I was the most stressed and insecure about. Now, almost 10 years later, I don't really struggle with acne anymore. Of course skin changes with age, so now I come for completely different concerns. I usually do treatments like microneedling, Sylfirm, and other maintenance treatments. Lately I have also been stressing about aging, so they are still stuck with me lol. The biggest reason I continue to come here is that I actually feel cared for. I have tried a few places in LA because Fullerton is honestly far from me now, but the experiences were just not the same. Some places felt rushed, not very friendly, or like they were giving everyone the same recommendation. Here, they actually look closely at my skin and tells me what would be helpful for me specifically. I never feel like I am just another customer. And the staff really makes a difference. Alex at the front is always so sweet, patient, and helpful. Jenny and Sunah are both amazing and have taken care of my skin for years. I have known some of the staff since before COVID, and seeing the same people there for so many years makes me feel even more comfortable and trusting of the clinic. I work full time and live in LA, but I still drive over an hour to Fullerton for my appointments. Sometimes I complain about the drive while I'm doing it, but I keep going because I genuinely trust their skills and the way they treat people. I'm a teacher, and people still mistake me for a student pretty often. I know genetics and skincare at home matter too, but I honestly consider this clinic one of the biggest contributors to how my skin looks today. I'm very thankful to the doctor, Alex, Jenny, Sunah, and everyone else who has taken care of me over the years.

The Scan: It was done with makeup on which was mistake one. It said I had medium/dark skin that…read moreisn't sensitive to sun, based on my brown eyeshadow. It also said I'm 92% oily but I was wearing beef tallow on my face after working all day to help my dry skin (that has been dry my whole life). Any well trained esthetician would be able to see that the scan was inaccurate. They also didn't ask any questions about current products or skin history to verify whether the scan was accurate or not. They based my treatment on the scan which may or may not be the cause of the issue I ended up with. Treatment: good treatment overall but nothing to compare it to since this was my first Korean facial. My skin had a nice glow afterward. The staff was nice so no complaints there. The products weren't clearly explained and I didn't receive any info about them which was another red flag. Post: 3 days after my treatment I developed dermatitis, as seen in pictures and determined by my dermatologist. It's unclear what caused the dermatitis. Post one week: skin has healed mostly with some redness still around my mouth. No scarring. The staff saw my original review and was very concerned and called me. I admit I should have contacted them first prior to the review. They talked to me at length and asked many questions and they did truly seem to care and want to make it right. They did say that they are tightening procedures and the makeup should have been cleaned off first and said they should have asked about current products. This is something they said they normally do but didn't that day. They had concern about the beef tallow but I didnt use any after the facial, just the products they recommended (and I purchased from them). I don't think that was the cause. They offered another facial (very gentle and healing) and my money back which I appreciate considering I paid $100 for a derm appointment and antibiotics. I haven't taken their offer yet but I do think they were genuinely surprised and caring during the process so I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3.

I'm a teacher, and people still mistake me for a student pretty often. At my first session for a facial lymphatic draining massage, Eunice and her husband were very welcoming. Don't be intimidated if you can't speak Korean because I definitely can't. There are no issues with a language barrier. They both took the time to invite me to bring in my skincare/makeup products so they could provide a customized plan with suggestions. I have now gone in for a couple sessions and can see a markedly visible difference in my face. My chubby cheeks and double chin (endearing, but unwanted) have shrunk, my jawline is more defined, and my collarbones pop more. I feel like she has also somehow magically elongated my neck. I've had such a good experience with tangible results that I'm planning to book lymphatic draining massages for my body. Before meeting Eunice, I probably would have never known that a lot of my bloating is contributed to blocked lymphs. They are small-scale, which allows them to provide personalized care for each of their clients. Their client base is also almost at full capacity, so I would definitely act quickly!
